Who can be against us? (Romans 8:31)

My God, you are always on my side,
Even though many have lied,
And many do not abide.

I ask you to show me what's right,
In this endless night,
What is holy and pleasing in your sight.

Lord, please forgive me,
When I have Fallen in the sea,
Because I know you are the key.

My Lord,
Your word is my sword,
The Holy Spirit on me you have poured.

The world is conniving and clever,
Hold me close so I may fall never,
Please let me live in you forever.
