♈Species Info:

An Angora goat is a domesticated goat bred for its extremely long, silky hair, which can be sheared twice annually and spun into mohair. The original Angora goats come from Angora, a region of Turkey, although today they can be found in many regions of the world, and some breeders have crossed the breed with other goats to encourage more hardy characteristics and to create colored Angora goats, with fur in a variety of shades including brown, gray, and black in addition to the classic white.

Historical evidence suggests that the Angora goat has been around since at least 1,000 BCE, and they are probably even older. The original Turkish breed was apparently somewhat delicate after years of breeding, so Turkish goat farmers began crossing their Angoras with other goats to make them hardier. Several attempts were made to import Angora goats into Europe, but the goats didn't fare well outside of Turkey until the 1800s, when a batch was exported to Africa. Today, Africa is a major producer of mohair, and specially bred hardy Angora goats are also raised in Asia, parts of Europe, and the Americas.

The hair of the Angora goat is similar in composition to wool, but it has a much softer, silkier texture. It is also extremely elastic and lustrous, making it very suitable for a fine-quality wool. Mohair will also not felt like wool does, and it can be blended with other fibers and dyed in a variety of ways to create a broad assortment of Mohair products.

These goats are somewhat smaller than most goat breeds, and their coats of hair are quite thick, especially in the weeks leading up to shearing. Both males and females have horns, with the horns of the male developing a distinctive spiral growth pattern. Angora goats can be demanding to raise, as they need a very high-quality diet to encourage the growth of healthy hair, and they can be challenging to breed. The goats are also known for being delicate, especially in the weeks following shearing, so they need shelter such as a barn or stable.

In addition to being raised for hair, an Angora goat can also make an excellent mower and weed disposal unit. Angoras and other goats are often used for weed control along highways, for example, and they can be turned loose on a lawn or overgrown area around the house or farm to bring the weeds under control. Angoras tend to be a bit less aggressive and curious than other goats, so they are safe around other animals and people of all ages, and the Angora goat is much less likely to escape its confinement or to raise a ruckus when compared to other goat breeds.

♈Traits:

Horns:
Nora's horns are placed on her head(duh!)but they grow back and tend to curl under. They never stop growing, so she has to trim them down after awhile, lest she accidentally gets them caught on some poor students clothing...

Eyes:
Nora's eyes are that of a goats, but also that of what would be called prey. The fact that they are a bit apart more than others means she can see better out of her peripheral vision easier...So she can avoid danger and people. She's been teased a lot because of the oddness of her eyes, meaning if she talks to you, she will more than likely do so through her bangs.

Shag(Mohair): Nora's curly, thick, soft and dense hair. Which she calls Mohair. Her mother used to cut it short whenever it became too long, Nora wouldn't have mind if her mother never decided to cut her bangs too(she usually hides behind them...)(Mohair is what Angora goats are bred for. Its really their fur which is used for clothing.).

♈Likes: Sanitizer, playing with her hair, listening to music of all kinds, cleaning, observing, reading, Writing things down in her journal and keeping herself clean.

♈Dislikes: Mess, girly stuff of any kind, mean people, people in her "bubble", someone reading her observation journal(>:'O) and people that touch her stuff(germs you know).

♈Personality: Nora is a loner. She doesn't like to mingle too much as she doesn't really know how. Besides, she's also very shy and likes to stay with whats familiar to her, meaning she doesn't like change! Well not too much of it that is...

Another reason for her lonerness is the fact that she can be a huge neat freak. This is because its easy for her to get sick and to acquire certain hair problems because of how thick her hair is. Her living quarters have to be the pinnacle of cleanliness, otherwise, who knows what sickness you could get from a dirty room? She doesn't mind nature or anything of the sort. She just thinks other people are the source of all and any germs, diseases, and infections out there which is why she likes to keep everything clean...

But, if you some how managed to befriend her, she can be a magnet for trouble, even though she can always get herself out of any situation, its usually Nora that puts herself into these little fiascoes. She's also quite the tomboy, so you would probably find her climbing rocks or hills of any sort terrain that screams "climb me!" and this is also one of the reasons behind her liking towards boys clothes.

♈Hobbies: Nora loves to hike and climb, watch people and take notes in her observation journal(from afar of course) and clean any and everything . Due to her shy lonerness, watching people is Nora's way of getting to know the person that so happens to catch her interest at the time. Its also a great way to see if she can catch anything serious from the said person. After all, cleanliness before people right?

♈Quirks and Peculiarities: Nora has an odd nervous habit of biting her nails which is why she keeps a nail clipper around. But if its not there when she gets nervous, then let the biting commence! Nora also tends to hide behind her hair when she wants to avoid someone. No one would want to talk to a wall of hair right?

The one thing that may annoy a potential roommate would be the fact that Nora cleans...FREQUENTLY. If there's a sock on the floor, she'll pick it up with such quickness its scary. If there's a stain on the floor, she'll grab the nearest rag, mop, towel, or even your shirt combined with any cleaning material she can get her hands on in order to scrub that stain out of existence.

Nora is also a bonified Vegan due to a specialized diet. No meats of any kind or fish for that matter. She's been following this diet ever since she was born. To deter from it would mean she would get very sick(goats don't eat meat or fish o3o lol....Vai would be safe cx and angora goats have to follow a strict diet otherwise they really do get sick.)

I LOVE the fact that you've included that she likes to climb all over things, I can just imagine her seeing a big ol' rock and just HAVING to climb! I like the direction you're going with her!

I can't put my finger on it, but it feels almost like something is missing. Maybe find some more ways to link her goat traits? The only thing you really seem to have is the rock climbing and perhaps the shyness. I hope this has helped! This is just my opinion though and if you like how you have her then you should keep her the same!

Overall I like Nora although a few things stand out to me.
A germaphobe isn't really likely to go out climbing, dirt, grass, rocks, metal all carry copious amounts of germs and if she scraped herself that's an infection just waiting to happen.
Germaphobes also aren't likely to bite their nails due to the bacteria that can be found in saliva. I like her being a neat freak but her germ obsession is somewhat contradictory to other traits.

Still, I think you've got a quirky little character in her and I cant wait to see her developed more. Lol, Tears would approve of her observation tactics.

I'd just remove it and leave it as is. Also you may wanna extrapolate on what kind of people nora would like to make friends with when she overcomes her shyness, the sort of people she admires etc.

You know... Nora seems to shine a lot more now that she doesn't have the germaphobe thing going on. A kid doesn't NEED something big about them to make them awesome. Vai didn't always have OCD...he just sort of developed it because I realized the way I was describing him to react to things being misplaced etc fit the bill, ya know?

She's really starting to look more polished! <3
