The reflection spring lies on the outskirts of the west side of the village. It is a small, perfectly circular pond, only about eight or nine feet in diameter. A small, narrow waterfall empties into the pond, yet the water remains undisturbed and the water level never seems to rise. This is sort of a sacred spot around Kagamigakure. No one really knows how it got there or how it maintains its mysterious properties.
One of the rumors is that this pond is where the soul mirrors sleep and when a child with the gift is born, you'll find a mirror floating atop its crystal clear waters. Many visit this spot for its calming nature and others for the opportunity to discover the truth behind it. What else could this spring be capable of? No one truly knows.
