S H A D O W xxxx Č L A N Willy and Proud Clan Character: Battle hungry, aggresive, amitious, and greedy for territory. It is said that the cold wind blows across the Shadow Clan territory chills their hearts and makes them suspicious and untrusting. Prey: Frogs, Lizards, and snakes that live in Shadowclan's boggy, peaty territory. A secret food source is the two leg garbage dump on the far boundary, although they have to be careful not to eat infected rats or crow food. Hunting Skills: Shadowclan cats hunt by night better then other clan cats and are skilled at skulking through the undergrowth unseen. Significant past clan leaders: Shadowstar, Raggedstar, Brokenstar, Nightstar, Tigetstar, Blackstar.

W I L L O W H I S PM E D I C I N E C A T  Willowhisps' long tail flicked out behind her as the sun kissed her stripped, multi colored fur. The tabby's green eyes were closed,
rubbing her cheek lightly on the rock she basked on, enjoying the rough feel of the rock on her skin. Her eyes opened slowly, taking a moment to focus on a blade of grass that now tickled her paws. She sat up, shaking her head as a spider crawled onto her paw. She swiped at it, watching it dance away on long spindly legs.
It had been quiet around the main camp, nothing really had been going amis, infact her skills were scarsely needed anymore. It bored her. She couldn't even take on an apprentice yet due to the fact there was simply nothing left for her to do and she didn't feel comfortable taking on an apprentice when there was nothing she could give the kit for paws on experience.

CLOUDBERRYWarrior  Cloudberry practically pranced as she carried her hard earned rat snake to the fresh kill pile. She was quite pleased with herself. The snake was a good size, and from the look of it, had recently eaten, given the cat a two for one deal. Someone would be eating well tonight. She grinned around her mouthful and flicked her tail in greeting to the basking Willowhisp as she passed, but continued on her way. She'd talk to the medicine cat later, when her mouth wasn't full.

The light of the sun didn't reach the cools of the shadowy brush. A rustling of the leaves signaled his arrival.
Spiderfoot seemed to walk on air as he crept into the camp. He was a quiet hunter, dragging along a two-foot-long lizard by it's tail. The kits could chew on the limbs and nibble the tail meat as the elders ate their fill. Spiderfoot would see a meal as soon as the others were done. He dropped his fresh kill in the pile, on top of Cloudberry's snake. There wasn't much acknowledgment of the other two, except for a simply polite making of eye contact. The tom then walked over to the nearest tree, flashing the large scar on his belly as he bound up the bark, digging his claws into the wood to climb to a high branch and watch their surroundings.

W I L L O W H I S PM E D I C I N E C A T Willowhisp glanced up just as Cloudberry greeted her with a twitch of the tail. She stood, stretching her paws out before her and kneeded the ground once just as Spiderfoot bounded past and up the tree. She waited for a clear path to appear and bounded across to Cloudberry, arriving in a few leaps. "A very nice kill." She congratulated, her eyes turning up to the tom who was now in the tree. "Yours too Spiderfoot." She meowed, her ears flicking back. She had never been good at hunting. She always felt bad after killing things.

CLOUDBERRYWarrior Cloudberry grinned at Willowisp at the medicine cat's praise. "Thanks. It put up a good fight." She flicked an ear towards Spiderfoot, but otherwise paid the dark cat little attention. She doubted he would come down to chat... and focused on the tabby again. "So how are things with you?" she asked. Things had been going well within the clan, with minimal wounds and next to no sicknesses. That left little to do for the Willowisp...

W I L L O W H I S PM E D I C I N E C A T The tabby smiled a bit sheepishly, running her paw in the dirt "Slow." She meowed slowly, her whiskers flicking once. "I hate to say it but something, anything, needs to happen so I can stop feeling like such a fat cat and do my duty to the clan. Anything. I think I've come up with every excuse known to Starclan to baby the elders and to check on the kits. There is nothing left to do." She sat down, lifting her paw to her mouth, tongue swiping across the striped paw before rubbing it on her ear. Willowhisp could talk, and often she went out on a tangent. "And you Cloudberry? How are things as a warrior?" She said, her large, almond shaped jade eyes seemed to glitter expectantly, leaning in, her tail flicked back and forth on the ground. She expected a thrilling tale, something to ease her wandering mind.

CLOUDBERRYWarrior Cloudberry twitched her tail so that it curled around her paws. Her ears drooped slightly at Willowhisp's expectant expression. There really wasn't much to tell..... "Well.... The hunting has been very good lately. And it's been rather quiet with the other clans..." All in all.... It was peaceful. And rather pathetically dull. Cloudberry had been hoping to get an apprentice to train and therefore keep her occupied, but it appeared StarClan was against her on that front. She sighed dejectedly. "Everything is routine..." And dull. So dreadfully, horrifically dull. Something had to happen soon, right? Anything was preferable at this point... Although... maybe that was selfish of her, to think such things. Things were going well for the clan. Why complain about that? 'Because you're bored out of your mind...' her subconcious answered. She frowned slightly...

Spiderfoot bowed his head at Willowhisp's compliment. The tom was never one for idle chit-chat,besides, there was nothing worth telling to the others. It was as Cloudberry said, there was good hunting, but no battles.
A little known fact about Spiderfoot was that he would seek out the most formidable prey-anything that would put up great fight- just for the sport of defeating and killing it.
The only thing exhilarating about this day was his trip outside clan territory to nap in the Irises, which is what he'd do now. The black cat closed his eyes, allowing one ear to droop as he settled for a nap.
//Honestly, I hadn't thought about it. However, I've never done an Animal RP so I figured it would be fun to try and get a feel for a new persona. sweatdrop //

xxxxxShadepaw A gray apprentice padded out of the apprentice's den, though his size made him seem as if he were a kit about to become an apprentice. He was nearly old enough to become a warrior, one more moon and he could. But everyone seemed to be wary about him becoming a warrior. At his size many thought he couldn't do anything.
Little did they know, he was probably the best out of any of them. And, as he didn't feel appreciated by his clan, he would leave as soon as he felt it necessary. "I'm off," he muttered, more to himself than anyone. As he left the apprentice's den, several of his fellow apprentices mocked him and he flared unhappily.

Spiderfoot was stirred by the jeering of the apprentices. He watched as Shadepaw flare up and take off for the woods. The tom hopped from the branch, slowing himself against the bark with hisfront paws and then thrusting his hind legs to propel forward and land on his feet and follow the young apprentice.
"You really shouldn't let them get to you." Spider foot mewled as he came up beside the young tom. "The way of the warrior is meant for the strong of heart. Constant jeering shows weakness and the need to demean others. Those who make fun of others are not worthy of becoming warriors."

W I L L O W H I S PM E D I C I N E C A T Her own dark ears flattened against her skull, a soft sigh escaping her jaws as she let her head hang for a second. She could practically feel the other she cats disappointment. "Well... Its about time life becomes a bit more exciting rather then dull and routine." she grumbled, her voice a low growl. Her attention was cauight by the apprentices, her eyes landing on the smaller gray tom. She took a step towards him, momentarily distracted, though she stopped when she heard Spiderfoots' claws tearing in the bark. She sighed, stepping back, her eyes on the apprentices. "Were the apprentices of our time as rude as the apprentices of this generation?" She asked, her tail flicking in aggitation.

CLOUDBERRYWarrior "Most definitely not." Cloudberry answered, her eyes drifting to the smallest of the lot. "My mentor would have had my hide if I'd been so unkind..." She narrowed her eyes irritably and flicked the tip of her own tail. "Shadow Clan will weaken if our warriors don't show at least a little unity." She wasn't looking forward to when the next generation became warriors... The little gray one though.... Cloudberry had a feeling he'd be the one to watch.

"Its one of the reasons I havent chosen my apprentice yet." She meowed. "I never had the problem of being rude, but if I had i'm sure my mentor would have fed me to the foxes." She shook her head slightly, dismayed. 'I have half a mind to punish them, but i've walked on to many tails lately with their mentors to want to risk it once more.
" With that she shook her head, stretching, her tail lashing back and forth. She yawned largely before grinning at Cloudberry. "I need to get out of here." She chuckled.

Shadepaw Lime green eyes glanced over to Spiderfoot and brightened slightly. The words he spoke made Shadepaw feel better, but not much. "I know. I rarely let them get to me, it's just that.. After a while I can't stand it any longer," he muttered with a slight sigh - his green hues dulling a bit as he stepped out of the camp along with Spiderfoot. "So I go out to do some hunting.. Or just to relax. It helps me clear my head and calm down," he said with a lopsided grin, his ears twitching slightly as he took a deep breath and let it out slowly. Just stepping outside of the camp was enough to make him feel better, but the moment he stepped back in those boundries, his emotional walls of steel would stand strong again, blocking everybody and everything out
