•• Cherubim, on a high spot on her planet, eyed her surroundings. She gazed back down at her ring, her eyes glimmering. She mumbled her oath and looked up again. "It certainly is a lonely day..." She told herself, in a pleasing manner. "No one has called for help... Just a relaxation... The Black lanterns haven't caused me trouble..." Her eyes watered in longing. "Yes... Just a wonderful day..." The truth about Cherubim was she had different feelings. She changed a lot over the years. Being "perfect" wasn't easy. Everyone expected her to be a great Lantern of their planet. After visiting Earth with her small group, she would never see anything the same again. How beings were beaten to death and massacred before her very eyes... She vowed to help anyone who called for her, she must do what must be done... She wiped her tears away. It wasn't normal to cry, she mustn't cry. Cherubim stood up. With her ring, she made a hovering board and flew up as high as she could with the pressure pushing her down. There was no point to this game she played except wonder how long she could withstand it. Gravity, she never noticed this till she visited earth... Earth... what a evil planet... ••
