Twenty years after a dire confrontation between Arannis and his brother, Derahci, have passed, efforts being made by Arannis' closest friends to re-establish peace across the planes. In his works, Arannis finds himself accidentally on an unfamiliar realm known as Iraness. His travels have wearied him to the bone, hardly able to cope with the suddenly unfamiliar environment.
Arannis stepped through a green portal, suddenly falling flat on his face from the wearisome travel, but slowly picked himself up.
"What... what is this? Where have I come to?"
He fell again, unconscious.

Thea, in her many travels, was walking along a small dirt path through a dry-looking grassy field. In the distance she thought she saw some strange flash of green. She shrugged her shoulders and continued walking, hoping to get to the next village before nightfall. She shortly arrived at the part of the path she'd thought she'd seen the flash, only to find a man there, collapsed, from what she knew not. She walked over and kneeled by him, rolling him onto his back, "Hello? Can you hear me?" She lightly slapped his cheeks a few times before getting her small water skin off of her shoulder and bringing it to his lips, dribbling the cool water into his mouth, "If you don't wake up soon I'm going to have to camp here for the night..." She muttered.

(One-time image post, so you can get a sense for his general appearance - since the signature doesn't exactly... detail so well) Arannis opened his eyes, suddenly wide awake - only to see Thea looming over him. "Who are you...?"

[[ sorry, I had thought you'd forgotten ]] Thea jumped back, "Welcome back...I'm Thea..." She said softly, just in case he was sensitive to sound or anything, "Are you hungry?"

(me? forget? No, ma'am. I been waiting this whole time o.0)
"Not at all, just... disoriented, some. Forgive me. I am called Arannis... Perhaps I do not appear so ordinary as most. I am one of a very select few of the remnants of the Celestial race... It is a long story, one that perhaps someday you will know."

She shrugged, "I honestly don't care to know. I'd rather not actually...Do you need anything?" She really wasn't the curious type, and she'd already lived longer than most ever would. People however, often treated her the way she looked.

Arannis pulled himself up to sitting, putting his arms around his brought-up knees and leaning in some, still looking to Thea.
"Now this is an oddity. Normally those hearing of my origins jump in wonder, yet you carry a passiveness that defies reality. But I digress... I travel, realm to realm, and seem to have lost my way.... Where, then, are we?"

She watched him, "Well, I really just don't care to know. Whatever you've gone through, it was probably life changing, and I'd rather not have to listen to a sob story. You're in Iraness, and I really should be going. I'm only headed to the next town over, but you can come if you'd like."

"Iraness..."
Arannis held a hand in front of him, an image of multiple entire dimensions appearing as mere orbs coming into view, one of which began to glow faintly, quite removed from the rest.
"It seems that I missed... There won't be any return for weeks... months, perhaps. If you don't mind, I would follow you, for the time being."

She nodded then checked the sun, "It should take us about five hours to get there from here. I think we'll make it." After all, she was an Earth Spirit...

Arannis put out his wings, a golden runic set, as opposed to the typical feathered wingspan. He lifted into the air, and followed Thea.
"My apologies for delaying you. Remind me someday to make accommodations."

She looked up at him, "You could always fly us both there, it'd be faster. Then you'd not be causing me any inconvience at all..."

Arannis nodded, then forced himself ahead somewhat, coming down in something of a somersault and landing to a knee, his wings spread wide.
"Fair enough. Be warned; the wings aren't material, so don't rely on them to keep you up. And another thing... lock your hands together, keep them down and close in front, so you can't give much air resistance."

She nodded and jogged up to him, "You know, I've never flow before...We'll see how this turns out!" She was very chipper.

"You remind me of Moona..."
Arannis' words came softly, then he shook his head, and pulled down somewhat on Thea's wrists, so as to make sure they were low enough to keep her body down in flight. He smiled faintly.
"I hope you're ready, then, Thea. I've spent more time in flight than I have lived, in a sense."
He took off, the environment nearly becoming a blur.
