Sandy Ledge(Main Camp)---->
In the center of camp a large pond resides. To the north a small waterfall trickles down the edge of a sandy ledge and into the pool. This ledge is where the leader stands to address the Clan and also where their den is. To the left two tunnels can be found hidden by thick bushes. One tunnel leads to higher cliffs and the other leads out of camp to lower grounds. To the right three caves are hidden by small trees. The left leads to the nursery, the middle to the warriors den, and the right to the apprentices den. The elder’s den and medicine cat’s den can be found in the cliff side under the leader’s den. The floor of the camp is sandy with little grass and the walls are tall stone ledges.

Pebblestar - Small, lean, calico with short sleek fur and white underbelly and paws. She has deep green eyes. (Lunre_and_Solra)

Rockpath-A lean, dark brown short-haired cat with hazel eyes and powerful hind legs and long tail. (Aclyon)

Snowstorm- Fluffy, long haired white with darker gray spots and bright blue eyes (xXx-Shadows_Light-xXx)

Iceflower-Silver tabby she-cat with piercing blue eyes. (emt21wave)
Blackpelt-Large, solid black cat with green eyes. (Lunre_and_Solra)
Spottedfur-Medium-sized white tom with black and gray splotched along his back stretching from his nose to tip of his tail. He has hazel eyes. (septeda)

Pebblestar was overjoyed as the sun fell onto her pelt. Newleaf was here, and it wouldn't be long until prey was running, in CloudClan standards, well. She looked towards the Apprentice Den, where Rockpath was probably trying to wake Lightpaw. She trotted over to the pool to drink from its supply of cool water.

Lightpaw emerged from the apprentice's den and stretched in the bright sunlight. His belly fur rubbed the warm rock and he tried to shake of any drowsiness left in his limbs. Lightpaw spotted Pebblestar by the pool and Rockpath was just emerging from the den behind him, having woke him up in the first place. "Pebblestar! Are we going hunting today? You told me you would teach me how to track a hawk!" He bounced over to his mentor's side.
Behind him Rockpath let out a mrrow of amusement. "You just started your training not to long ago. I don't think you could take down a hawk on your own just yet." She playfully flicked his ear with her tail. "I'll go set the patrols and let you deal with this energetic apprentice." She nodded to Pebblestar and set off to find the other warriors.

Pebblestar forced a purr. "You won't catch a hawk today, Lightpaw," she purred. "Nor tomorrow. You probably won't catch a hawk for a few moons. Prey like that is dangerous. But you will catch one, someday. Remember, the Warrior Code wasn't built in a day!" She tried to sound cheery, but she hated dampening the apprentice's spirits. She had promised that one day he would catch a hawk. "But, today we will catch something."

Lightpaw's enthusiasm fadded but for only a few seconds. Soon he was bouncing around his mentor's paws again. "What will we catch then? I already know how to stalk voles and mice but we don't see them that often to hunt them all the time right? What about a rabbit?! I'm fast enough to catch one!" He purred and in his excitement tripped on a loose pebble, smacking his nose on the rock wall that made up the camp. "Ow!" He sat back and felt his nose with a gentle paw. "I'm alright. I think."
Across the camp Rockpath shook her head at the young cat. If he could learn some control and channel his energy into his training he would make an excellent warrior. "Pebblestar you should probably take him hunting already before he brings the camp down on us!" She purred before slipping into the warrior's den to search for Iceflower.

The leader sighed. Her apprentice was so energetic. "Yes, and it is good to know how to hunt everything available. Even when prey covers our territory, much of it is difficult to catch. Prey is important... but so is being able to navigate the territory to find it. Remember, one foot off and clllllk," she immitated the sound of a snapping neck, "you'll die. Today, I think we should learn everything there is to know about our territory." The leader knew she had gone over the territory once with her apprentice, but she couldn't forget the death of her first apprentice, Rockpelt; he had tumbled to his death, just the day after his warrior ceremony, the day before Pebblestar had become deputy. Memories of deaths she was responsible for flooded through her - her apprentice, Rockpelt, her grandfather and leader, Boulderstar, whom she failed to protect when an eagle had ripped him to shreds four sunhighs prior, all the enemies she killed. Her tail drooped, and her head hung low. She felt like she had failed everyone. She wondered if she even deserved to be leader. Perhaps, just perhaps her grandfather had made the mistake of appointing such a young warrior - only eighteen moons at the time - as a deputy. She realized that her young apprentice could be staring, and automatically tried to make herself cheery."You must learn about the whole territory, Lightpaw - it may someday save your life."

Lightpaw's eyes widdened and he sat up straight listening to every word Pebblestar said while trying to look as serious as his leader. He could remember the time when he had been a kit and had been playing on the sandy ledge pretending to be the leader of Cloud Clan and had almost fallen. His mother had caught him just in time and it wouldn't have been a bad fall but the memory reminded him that he must always be careful on the mountain no matter where he was. "So are we going to go now?"

"Yes, let's go." Pebblestar took off towards the left of the camp. "Which do you want to view first, the lower grounds, or higher cliffs?" she hollered as she turned around to her apprentice, whom was still sitting by the pool of water.

"I wouldn't mind exploring the lower grounds first really." Lightpaw called back. He jumped up and hurried to catch up after realizing his mentor had already left the camp and he was still there.

Snowstorm stretched appreciatively inside her den as the smell of Newleaf permeated the air. 'Now that Newleaf's come, it'll be a lot easier to find herbs!' she thought happily as she walked out into the sunshine.

Nightpelt stretched. Most of the warriors had woken up- it was rather uncommon of him to sleep late. He padded out of his den, and felt newleaf sun warm his fur slightly. "Hello, Snowstorm," he greeted the medicine cat.

Rockpath padded in behind Pebblestar and nodded to Snowstorm and Blackpelt. "Good morning to you both. If you need an apprentice today Snowstorm you may take Nightpaw if you want. Lightpaw is already busy."

"Good morning Blackpelt, Rockpath, Pebblestar," Snowstorm purred, nodding at each cat as she greeted them. "Yes, I could always use some help looking for medicine, so Nightpaw's company would really make my job easier. Thank-you!" The fluffy white she-cat began to walk off, but quickly turned back around to face Rockpath, looking at her paws sheepishly. "Um... Where is she?"

Pebblestar cocked her head. "I'm not sure," she said. "I'm kinda worried."
Blackpelt came to her side. "She'll be fine," he assured her. "She's smart... ish."
