This is one of the main parts of the carnival. Many creatures are forced to work in different acts of the circus while others probably work somewhere in the carnival. Some of the creatures are practically treated like animals and are usually in the acts just so people can laugh at them.

Lisolette was sitting in a ring above the enpty ring, her purple eyes closed. She swung down, her legs wrapped around the thin hoop in an inhumanely way, and her arms folded grotesquely around the loop. One of her legs unraveled from the object and fell all the way down, so her foot was just next to her ear. She was interrupted when a boy ran through the front enterance, yelling her name. Lisolette unwrappd her other leg and dropped down into ring, landing perfectly on her feet that were encased in a pair of bright pink ballet slippers. She blinked sweetly at Cameron, then listened to his story, not saying a word. Once he finished, the young contortionist took his hand and led him out of the tent. "Oh, why? Oh, why? They always come to me..." she mumbled to herself as she led the confused boy out.

Lisolette resumed her grotesque position in the loop hanging not far above the ground of the ring. She closed her eyes and leaned back over the loop, once again, so her legs were the only things keep her from falling and splitting open her skull. She let her arms hang limp beside her and one of her legs slowly unwrapped so her ankle was touching her ear. This was her favorite position, always had been and always would be. She just stayed there, a soft Italian song flowing quietly from her lips.

Melinda watched Lisolette enviously. She had always wanted to be able to do that, but being around the circus animals was just as good. One of the lions went up to Melinda and rubbed its head near her hand, hoping she would pet it. She smiled and pet it's soft mane.
Allen walked into the circus and watched a girl make almost impossible moves then saw a girl play with a lion.

Lisolette lifted herself up until she was at the very top of the ring. Her hands were on either side of the tight tether and her arms were bent straight- just like the rest of her body. She let go with one hand until she was holding on by a few fingers. She opened her eyes and saw Allen. When she knew freaks were watching, the young girl could care less. But she couldn't preform in front of humans unless her eyes were closed- they made her uber nervous. The girl's hand started getting sweaty and she started to slip off the ring.

Allen blinked with his famous bored looks, deciding if this was one of the circus tricks.
Melinda gasped and ran up to Lisolette to see if she was ok.

Lisolette stared at her hands as she sat on the groung, eyes wide. "I... fell," she said quietly. This would shock anyone that knew the little contortionist. It takes a lot to throw her off balance- let alone to screw with her concentration. She got to her feet, dusted the dirt off her skirt and moved a feather out of her eyes. She was shocked.

Melinda watched with awe. Lisolette actually fell. She turned to the boy who threw her balance. "Who are you?" she asked. "What do you want?"
Allen grunted and debated if he should go talk to them, but it looked like it was too late to choose. "My name's Allen." he said simply. "I'm trapped here."

Anastasia walked into the circus to prepare for another tightrope performance. Katia hated it when Anastasia messed up or got in her way. She noticed that Lisolette had fell which surprised her, but noticed Melinda checking to see if she was ok. She then noticed Allen and knew he was the cause of Lisolette's mishap. "Humans aren't allowed in yet. So get out before I have to do something drastic." she said to Allen in a harsh town. She was just fed up with these humans. So she didn't bother acting sweet and innocent for people who didn't care. She climbed up the tall pole that lead to the thin tightrope.

Lisolette looked at Anastasia, a harsh look in her eyes. "It's not your place to say if he can stay or not!" she snapped cruelly. So what if he made her fall? He didn't mean to. She walked to Melinda's side. "Hello, Allen. I apologize for Anastasia's rudeness, looks like she's been hanging out with Katia too long," she said with a sweet smile, tossing the bird up behind her back at Anastasia.

Allen glanced at Anastasia. "A please would've been nice." he grumbled, actually telling a joke, which was incredibly rare. He glanced back at the girl who fell. "You ok?"

Lisolette giggled and smiled, nodding sweetly at him. "I think so. Just being clumsy again," she said, lying through her teeth. Never once had she fallen before. She was the least clumsy perosn in the carnival! Yet, one boy made her fall. That thought made her heart skip beats and flutter against her chest.

Allen walked up close to the girl and kneeled down, taking a look at the scrape on her knee. "You've never fallen before, huh?" he grunted. That scrape was the only wound on her knee, if she really was clumsy then surely there would've been more cuts.

Lisolette stared at him a moment then blushed furiously and turned away. "Yea..." she murmured, folding her arms in a stubborn yet cute way.

Anastasia just rolled her eyes at Lisolette and Allen. She walked onto the tightrope, keeping herself balanced. She flipped and balanced herself on her hands. She played the song in her head to make sure she was practicing to the beat. She did all sorts of flips and tricks, trying to look graceful. She hated heights and she hated having to do this. But Katia would kill her if she ever stopped working or if she ever lost her balance. She just wanted to see her brother and help find their way home.
