I really enjoyed Rufus in this episode he was just too serious in the other ones. I know he had to be, but I like a good humorous episode.

 Hahah that episode was pretty awesome.
Ya know it was different, but it was great to see what life is like from Bobby’s end for a change. It was really entertaining despite the lack of the boys.
And there were so many lil funny moments I cant begin to comment on all of them. Punky you have your poll work cut out for you. And we got the return of some characters and that was great.
Also I totally clapped and cheered when I saw Jensen’s name in the beginning credits. Wohoo!
Um so where to start?
Well it’s late and I’m not gonna get into too much detail but just a taste in no particular order:

1. First off wow that was an elaborate plan , which I had no idea where he was going with btw, but Bobby got his soul back and got to keep his legs. Haha that’s amazing. I was so worried they ‘d end the episode with his soul hanging in the balance, but nope he freed himself and Crowley got owned.
2. Idk why but I still couldn’t believe the boys actually flew to Scotland. Lol it was like totally surreal. I kept staring at the background scenery like “Omgosh they are really in another country.” (Well not really I know but really in the reality of the show... )
Wow.. Haha Poor Dean on the plane. xd
3. ROFLLOL about Crowley aka Fergus (aka the Lucky the Leprechaun was it? ) Why the heck would you sell your soul for um a larger package…err I guess the 1600’s didn’t have Extendz. rolleyes rofl
Anyways, Crowley you rat… makin a deal then weaseling out of it. He said it himself…demons are impossible to work with the liars.
4. What’s with the whole King of Hell thing the CRD said? That’s new. So he’s like standing in for Luci basically? What made him next in line? confused
5. Random: Bobby and Crowley mocking each other’s voices and accents was just too funny. rofl :Rofl: Seriously... This eppy made me laugh so much.
6. Poor Marcy she’s probably scarred for life now. I mean I wonder what she's thinking now? Lol she seemed like a sweet woman too. Lucky for Bobby her wood chipper wasn’t really broken XD And darn Bobby never got a bite of that delish looking pie. Every time.
7. Haha it’s great Bobby has a friend in Sheriff Mills, God knows a hunter could use someone from the law on his side . She pulls a lot of strings for him. I really wanna know how she got Rufus out though. (Lol love how it’s so normal to have two bodies on your property for Bobby. lol )
8. Okay have to say the boys (well Dean mostly at the time ) kinda deserved that chewing out Bobby gave them. I mean I get Dean doesn’t see Bobby’s point of view and he’s stressing about things, and that’s understandable, but to call Bobby selfish? He's always been there for them.
Sheesh Bobby had just researched all night for them and Dean's like “ got it, good byes.” *face palm* Taking him for granted much? A thanks would be more gracious. It just kinda made you think , “The nerve of you dean!” Also they KNEW he had his soul on the line already? gonk
9. LOL ok Sam’s just sitting there like… “what the heck set him off?”
ROFL and I love the look on Sam’s face when Bobby says, “….when you someone to b!tch about each other too “ and he’s Huhh?? *makes face at Dean* rofl rofl I burst out laughing.
Yes Sam, Dean’s been talking about you. Dean’s right about that, something is wrong with you.
10. Creepy Okami (sp???) was freaky man. LOL so funny how Rufus is like “I’m pretty sure it’s 5 times.” “ No it’s 7” rofl
LOL and totally clever swallowing the ring. Mwaa yes Bobby I’d boil it too! ick...
(Is it just me irked when he calls Bobby "Bob?" Lol it sounds so darn weird..)
haha poor Rufus on the run from the law. Hope he doesn’t get caught anymore. It was great seeing him again. LIke Light Wolf said above he was a bit more light hearted so it was fun to see.
Glad he didn’t get himself killed either (hey when characters on SPN return, sooner or later they get killed, it’s a curse !)
11. I cant think of anything else..oh yes… good to see the return of Bobby’s line of phones. Got to see what he does with all of them. Hilarious how he tells the one guy he better call the FBI then the dude turns around and calls Bobby again on his FBI line. ROFL I was cracking up.. Idjit. XD
Wow that little bit of scrambled thoughts turned out bigger than I thought...

It's about time Bobby got his own damn episode! I love the crotchety old dude!
1. That first exchange between Bobby and Crowley? Priceless! Especially the part about the contract "Paragraph 18, subsection B, it's on your naughty bits." Really, Crowley, really???
2. It was great to see what life is actually like for Bobby. I mean, we know he's the go to guy and everything, but to see how hunting as it is now has pretty much taken over everything that he does is saddening. Bobby does so much for the other hunters and really gets so little in return.
3. The neighbour. Seriously, that woman has to be scarred for life. Interaction with Bobby and co. requires a whole new level of mentality and there's very few out there who can do it.
4. RUFUS!! I love Rufus. It was wonderful to see him so light hearted in this one, though he sucks utterly at avoiding the attention of the associated authorities.
5. Fergus MacLeod. Really?? Was I the only one cracking Highlander jokes? Was I the only one who was hoping for a son named Duncan? Or Connor? Really?
6. Bobby owned that CRD! And Crowley in the end, but establishing that the old myth about burning bones works for demons too was a stroke of genius. It's something to watch out for in the future.
7. Chewing the boys out. Bobby's right, with them it's always "give me info now," and they very rarely seem to thank him or anything. It's like they don't consider that he has a life outside of them.
8. Good to see that the sherrif is still on his side, though I don't think he'll be getting anymore favours from her for a while.
9. The boys made it to Scotland! They actually flew! Go boys, fly fly!!
10. I adore Crowley, I really do (btw, why does he have a cockney accent when they just established that he's Scottish? FAIL! Writers!) but Sam should of let Dean burn those bones, reduce Hell to chaos so that they at least don't have to worry too much about demons while they fight among themselves.
I loved this episode! Really and truly loved it. It was wonderful to see Bobby's life. I spent most of it wanting to smish Bobby to little bitty pieces, though. Sometimes all the old guy needs is a hug and Jim Beaver is SO damn huggable!!!

Did ya notice the sons name was Gavin MacLeod? Just happens to be the name of the actor who played Captain Steubing on heart The Love Boat. heart That was funny for us oldies.

Ok side notes, I think Jensen did a fantastic job. The episode flowed nicely, and other than the burned up CRD moment, I'm not seeing any other plot holes or continuity errors, so that's all good. It was kinda fun to see Bobby's side of the phone for once, and the whole Crowley backstory was great too. This proves the show doesn't need to make a crutch out of Sam and Dean, it has plenty of other amazing characters who have their own story to tell smile

Soooo . . . . . I was really unmotivated to write a review for this episode. It's not that it wasn't a good episode, it's that I'm getting tired of waiting to find out what's going on with Sam. I get keeping up suspense for a while, but at least give us something. ANYTHING!
But then I thought, it's OK, because after a fun break for a Bobby episode, we'll get back to figuring out what's wrong with Sam. Then we saw the promo for next week's episode. And it's all about Dean . . . . . .
Don't get me wrong, I'm a Dean girl at heart. I love him a lot. And I love the idea of putting Lisa and Ben back into that episode for some great conflict. (Nooo Dean! Don't eat Lisa!!!!!!!!)
And yet, I find myself not really caring right now, because I'm so concerned with figuring out what's wrong with SAM! If they were giving us hints along the way, that would be one thing, but for the last two episodes, we've had zero hints. We've just had Dean being pissy that Sam is different (which I'm pretty sure every person in the audience understands, because we're feeling it a bit too).
*sigh*
*end rant*
So anyway, my plan is just to reply to everyone else's reviews with my own thoughts on all that jazz . . . . .

I love their simplistic approach to the angels and the demons. We don't need any huge special effects for them showing up, because it's just nice and creepy when they silently appear out of nowhere. It just works perfectly for the show. Punk~Pirate~Princess

I mean, Ruby was from somewhere over in Europe, but her two vessels definitely had American accents. (And Lilith was like . . . what, Babylonian? He probably just seized power in the chaos after Luci left, kind of like Cas in heaven. I've always said that Crowley is basically demonic Cas. Cas takes over heaven. Crowley takes over hell. Cas turns on Michael. Crowley turns on Luci. Cas gets too close to people. Crowley gets too close to people, metaphorically. (the kisses) Angeladr7 (Is it just me irked when he calls Bobby "Bob?" Lol it sounds so darn weird..)
It does sound weird. Bobby Singer =/= Bob Singer. (He just got his name from the guy. lol.) Artificial Deanmination All I have to say is:

It was also proved once again that pie = bad things lol. Or was that a cobbler? Eh, basically same thing but in square shape. PASTRY = bad things LOL. garra_eyes Did it actually turn to ash? I thought he just charred the hell out of the bones. Yeah in the end you can see the whole thing fall literally to ashes. There were no bones left =/ I mean if the cop took the ashed and had them tested maybe... but you could always say they were cremated remains that got knocked over or whatever, so really there's no case..

Yeesssss! A Bobby episode!! heart heart heart
I knew Bobby had all those phones, but I was actually surprised by how many hunters he actually had calling him or having authorities call him. No wonder he's so busy! "No, not me FBI, the real FBI!" xd "How are you still alive?"
And the poor guy just can't catch a break. Felt bad for the woman next door. Definitely scarred for a few years. She was flirting and now, no cake. Er- no cobbler for Bobby.
Loooooove how Bobby took a twist with Crowley's son. Genius!
And Bobby's initial disbelief when the CRD told him Crowley was from Scotland. I wouldn't have believed it either at first. Very sneaky of the writers to let slip that his fav drink was scottish.
Speaking of the ring...
Bobby: stare ...I'll go boil it.
Rufus: *looks confused* What?
Oh Rufus xd
Overall, loved this episode! Bobby gets a little lime light!
Though, I am surprised he got his soul back. Usually, for anything to progress on this show it takes three or four episodes. rolleyes
