Prufalas turned and stood at her midwifes side as her alpha gave birth to four pups, she sniffed the two larger ones as each ones we handed to her for sensing, and she licked them tenderly, and nosed them back to her Queen. The females one smelled of weakness and illness, the other too small, meeting her Kings eyes she swiftly left the chambers and held them to the moon and took them into a swift embrace snapping their neck , and gently laid their bodies into the royal embers of eternal flames.
She returned to her alphas in wolf form and sat at their side eyes sharp protecting the new line.

Atilius had been leaning on the wall next to the door with his arms crossed. He had watched the birth, and watched his sister sniff out the weak.and when he had noticed the smaller of the 4 he again felt sorry for the pup. He had hoped there would be one time he wouldn't have to control his sisters emotions. A quiet sigh passed by his lips as he watched his sister pass him and take the pups outside. As she returend he nodded ever so slighty and opened the door as the both left the alphas, and Lady Khar to be.

Devanos watched as the pups were birthed, glancing at Prufalas and Atilius briefly before they left. His eyes seemed to glisten as he looked at the stronger of the pups, knowing they would grow to greatness. Closing his eyes, he remembered his days of training and the battles he fought. With a glance to his Queen, he let out a howl to inform the pack of the new line.

Upon entering Prufalas raised her head to the sky in response of her Kings call and howled back. In short she quickly turned around and looked at Atilius and went down the halls with him at her heels. " Careful baby brother I do not need controlling, never show weakness, we have no room for it here. Come the guardians require our presence in Aviano.

Atilius glanced over at his older sister, then returned his gaze down the hall. "As you say 'Darling ' big sister of mine." He hadn't been able to talk the whole time he was waiting in the Alphas chambers,felt good to him to be a little sarcastic now. "Well then lets get going then."

Alexis walked down the halls to the birthing room, silent as always. Opening the door, she made her way to the pups' side, letting their scents imprint on her memory before bowing to the alphas. Gazing at the tiny pups for a few minutes, she turned and left the way she came from, off to join her leader in Aviano.

Adalia watched as the weakest pups were taken to meet their fate, Looking down at the remaining two she licked their fur feeling pride to bring forth strong heirs to her empire, as Alexis came to see the pups, she lifted her tail that was shielding them to reveal them to her as they pawed at her belly while feeding, small growls could be heard as they fought amongst each other for better placement.

As Prufalas took the runt of the litter to meet their fate, Caedus walked past her into the birthing room silently to see the two who would survive. He kept his left hand in his pocket while his right clutched the scabbard of his sword, marble white with blue tassels hanging from where the scabbard met the hilt of the sword. He stayed in the doorway as Adalia revealed the pups to Alexis, his crimson eyes betraying no emotion.

Caedus's scent was not lost on Adalia, Alexis had left and he remained in the door way, lifting her gaze to his she gave a slight nod to him, pressing her back against her mate at the same moment. The pups were now curled around one another pressed close to their mother as they slept.

Devanos glanced up as Alexis came and went, and as Caedus' stood in the room. As Adalia pressed her back against him, he leaned down and nuzzled his mate, proud of the strong pups that remained.

Kira nodded to the alphas and began to pack and clean up the tools that had been used to deliver the pups. When her tools, and everything that had been used had either been discarded, preserved, or cleaned, she silently padded to the door. Looking at the new line, she smiled and said a quick blessing on the pups before she left the alphas to rest.

Prufalas walked passed the cooridor and looked upon Caedus and a light crossed her eyes for a second, and she touched her heart once and left for guardians flight.

Caedus looked down at the pups for a moment longer before he met Adalia's eyes and nodded once to her. He turned to leave then, running his fingers through his hair as he did. Scenes like that never made him relax, the love in the atmosphere just made him uneasy.

Covering her pups once more with her tail, Adalia lowers her head and closes her eyes, she was tired from giving birth to them, and having stayed awake long enough so that the others could see her two remaining boys, the last thing she thought before she fell asleep was what their names might be when their father decided to name them and of what strong warriors they would grow up to be.
