So we all know the gambling game Keystone, right? (It's in the original, right, because I know it's in Fable 2...)
I have spent hours on end trying to figure out whether or not it is possible to create a "no-lose" situation in a game of Keystone--that is, no matter what dice roll is played, I win money. Or, at least, I don't lose money.
What leads me to believe this madness? ...Well, call it the math major in me. I see Keystone's odds, I want to find a way to prove it's not just a dice-rolling version of Spinnerbox.
Am I asking you to prove whether it is possible or impossible to create such a scenario? Not really--you can if you want. But if you've got any links, or any particularly good strategies, enlighten us.

I never understood any of the pub games in Fable 2, so I can't help you there, sorry. (actually, I don't think I know anyone who understands any of them at all, let alone play them)

Keystone is only in Fable II, not the first fable the first fable has its own set of pub games
I don't think you can create a "no-loose" situation for Keystone, after all its basically like the game Craps

Oh, it isn't? Darn, I thought it was in the first. But yeah, thus far I've had no luck creating such a game style. With Arch Bets, I think you can at least give a semblance of being unable to lose for a time (pending on the dice rolls), but so far I'm a 3-star gambler with no luck of finding a way.
And yeah, they didn't work out gambling very well. It's like, play five minutes to earn 50 gold at best when I could just as easily do one of those jobs for ten seconds and make the same amount. I think there's more potential once you hit three stars, but that's as far as I've gotten.

I've only lost once at keystone, and that was my first time playing it. Otherwise I get first or second. But I normally place bets on alot of things.
