Our school's homecoming is come up, and I'm kinda psyched 'cause this years theme is Harry Potter and the dance is going to take place around Halloween. I might not go to homecoming, but the alternate options include going to a movie... dressed up as Hogwarts students... any movie... Watching all the Harry Potter movies... And/Or making spoofs of Harry Potter. That being said, anyone have any plans for Halloween, or homecoming?
(note: sophomore homecoming shirt is Ravenclaw themed, so totally scraping together change to get one)

Don't have plans, except who I'm going to be for Halloween...Luna Lovegood. I'm hoping to make a necklace like her butterbeer cap one and radish earrings.

Harry Potter homecoming? I wanna move to your school. Our theme is Dreams in Candyland. confused Oh well.
I'm not quite sure what I'll be for Halloween yet. Maybe I can combine my two favorite things. Band and Ravenclaw.

I wonder, since Hogwarts has a choir, do they have a band as well? And an orchestra? It would be interesting if they did.

I'm a sophmore....buy me a shirt if I sent the money? xd ...but hope you have enough for your own. My plans for Halloween...hmmmm... not sure. I wanted to dress up as a sad clown/ballerina. with all white and redish cheeks and a blue tear under my eyes...but not sure. . . I would ReAlLy want to dress up as a Ravenclaw student. but I don't have any "robes+etc.". . . we'll see though.

I got a shirt (happiness), and strangely enough I got it quickly considering the size of the line. They were actually asking for people who didn't order a shirt with their name on the back, and if you were one of those people then you pretty much skipped the line and got your shirt right away. It looks awesome, it's a navy blue with silver lettering. I saw the freshmen shirt (freshmen= hufflepuff) and it looked like a regular black and gold/bronze fan shirt. Kinda funny actually. smile
To make a Ravenclaw outfit;
Find a plain dress shirt, a plain dark navy skirt or trousers (love that word) and a pair of black shoes and socks of cream or bluish. Try to find a tie or scarf with either blue and bronze (book color) or blue and silver (movie color), hand stitch the Ravenclaw emblem onto the scarf and pocket of your shirt if possible. If you find a robe then stitch one on there as well. Simple and yet so complex... grrr.....

I guess I'm lazy, I bought robes online, and they just arrived today! My Butterbeer cap necklace is almost complete, I've got a white collared shirt, but I need the skirt/trousers(I love that word too). Plus I've got a blond wig, as I'm a brunette. Hopefully I'll be able to buy spectrespecs. If not, I'll make them.
