Lyra sighed deeply as she watched her Mother—the Queen, walk up and down the aisles that were aligned with different colors and each in different shades of color. She was dragged along with her parents to decide on which flowers and what decorations to use for tonight’s festivities. But no one asked her thoughts. No one asked “do you like this shade of pink?” or “how about these oranges one, dear?” Nope. So she was left to sit on the sidelines and watch her parents tell the maids which ones were pretty and which ones were ridiculously ugly. Another sigh escaped from her vocals as she dipped her head down. The townspeople were even preparing for tonight. There was supposed to be some grand feast and HUGE party. Everyone was invited. And everyone was equally excited. She had overheard the maids chattering away about what dresses they were going to wear and who was going to escort them. Lyra wished that she could be apart of that conversation. But the moment she would make herself known to the maids, they looked sour and figured that the young Princess needed something right then and there. Lyra wanted to go on and on about what dress she wanted to wear even though she had a closet full of beautiful gowns and dresses. More importantly she wanted an escort. Not some rich, fancy guy who dazzled her with compliments of her make-up. Every Prince that came to the castle reminded her of the next. They were all the same. All talked the same and even smelled the same. She wondered if there was a Prince cult somewhere.

The young girl raised her head and watched as her parents moved further down the aisle telling the maids to take notes. Lyra looked around and wondered what time it was and if it was ready to leave yet. Probably not. Her parents liked to chat a lot and it took them a long, long time to decide as well. As she looked around she had noticed that no one was really paying any attention to her. Lyra grimaced as she stood up and quietly, but quickly sneaked her way out of the small garden room. She picked up the hem of her dress as she wandered around. She was unsure of where she was exactly. The carriage brought her to a small farmer’s villa. Lyra looked around and no one seemed to notice her as she snuck around the small farm.

One of the best things about being the embodiment of a season is that travel was always a constant. Ivan took his job serious and as the seasons changed around the world he would move with it. So here he was walking along the pathways along a small farming town. He might be royalty but there was nothing quite like watching the less wealthy during the fall. Farmers more often were the ones who celebrated his season's coming with great furver.

Ivan's golden eyes scanned over the town. Something bright and colorful caught his eyes something that seemed out of place in a farming town in the falls. Cooling wind blew against his soft teal hair. He looked at the bright bored eyes and have a nod of his head the dark dead leaf red cape caught the wind and billowed a bit at his side and he continued along the path towards her.

Lyra didn’t think too much of someone following her as she glanced over her shoulders a couple times. But as she walked further and further away from the chatting in the distance behind her to a quiet settle field she began to get more wary. The young maiden breathed deeply as she watched the golden leaves flutter down onto the earth and crunch underneath her feet. Lyra always enjoyed the changing on the seasons as much as the next person. The days were cooler and there was a particular warming scent of autumn. But what Lyra loved the most was spending cold nights tucked in her bed underneath her blankets sipping a warm mug of apple cider. She licked her lips and her cheeks flushed. Mmmm, cider. Delicious. She grimaced as she came to a small garden. The flowers were long gone and withered but there was a stone bench that sat in between two flowerbeds and two trees that hugged its side.

The young girl was about to take a seat and take in a moment of silence when she felt as though there was another presence close to her. Lyra quickly turned her head and saw someone nearing closer to her. Where did he come from? She asked herself. Lyra blinked a couple times and rubbed her eyes. He clearly wasn’t there just a moment ago.

She pursed out her lips and shook her head. It was rude to ignore him but all Lyra really wanted to do was to enjoy this scenery. She huffed as she sat down on the stone bench and looked around as though she were oblivious with him there.

Ivan had half a mind to simply move on and let this fancy dress female be on her own. But his curiosity did just get the better of him. With his hair and cape swaying in the slight breeze he moved closer. Along with him, as he drew closer, the smell of dead leaves and the crispness of fall came too. His face had their of royalty, his manner of dress was simple but with a few touches of his status. Like his golden necklace and shoulder pads and the fabric of his clothing was rich and expensive.

He made his way clsoer to where she was standing and looked her over. "Your not the type I would think to find here." his voice was like a strong breeze, even and rich, but not snooty like some of status. "What would someone of your status be doing in a small farming town. As such?" he gave a wave of his hand to motion t their surroundings.

Lyra’s nose wriggled as she looked at the strange young man. Her eyes then followed the wave of his arm as she looked throughout the scenery. Sure it wasn’t what she usually be found lurking around but it’s not like Lyra had any choice being within the village. She was dragged along with her parents and already the outing was boring the young girl, which is why she left their sight.

And thought Lyra wasn’t used to the country life she thought the style was very pleasant and relaxing. There weren’t any maids bustling around and it wasn’t uncomfortably quiet. Everything had a sound to it from the wind rustling through the trees to the nearby chickens squawking in a nearby coop. Nothing really bored her either. She found everything to be quite interesting and wanted to know more about this country folk life.

“I…I…” Lyra blinked the strange young man. She shook her head and cleared her throat quietly. She was unsure of how to answer the question. She breathed deeply as her cheeks began to flush. “What are you doing here? Who are you?” she asked, changing subjects.
