 Yue stepped through the portal to her room and stretched. She looked at Toshiro and smiled slightly. So just make yourself comfortable and if you are hungry I can get you something. I know that living people like you need to eat to survive. It's also late so you should sleep soon. Yue's room

Thextera and Arinth soon arrived back at the mansion. Thextera looked up at the stairs as he felt two auras already here. One smaller, lighter one. The other much more powerful and darker. "It appears Yue is already here with the child."
Arinth just nodded. "Master, forgive me, but why must we trust her? She willingly goes against your orders for her own selfish desires."
Thextera cut him off. "Now now Arinth, there is no need for that. I trust Yue as much as I trust you when giving you both tasks. She is just longing for a second chance, as we all are. Now, get some rest. I will talk with Yue in a moment."
Arinth didn't say anything, he simply walked up the stairs and headed to his room, quietly closing the door behind him.

Toshiro nodded at Yue. "I'm not hungry. Thank you." he said as he looked around. "Where am I to sleep?"

Just take the bed. I don't use it anyway so it's more like a decoration. Yue explained and pointed to the bed. Yue felt Thextera return and she smiled. Well my master is back. He probably knows that you are here so you should be fine.

Alright! Yue thought back before getting up and looked at Toshiro. I'll be right back. Don't wander around and just go to sleep. Yue exited the room and slid gracefully down the rail of the stairs. Once at the bottom she jumped off and bowed slightly to Thextera. What is it you would like to speak to me about, master?

Thextera gave a small nod. "I see you took a hostage in your little disappearing act." He said, a little blunter than usual.

Yue straightened and looked like a little kid who was caught stealing a cookie. I'm sorry. A-Are you mad? She was curious and a little scared that she did something wrong.

Thextera sighed, shaking his head a little. "Yue Yue Yue..." He came a little closer and ran a single claw gently against her cheek, running it down until it was at the tip of her chin. Slowly tilting her head up so she was looking directly at his face. "Although the boy could be of use in luring the demon, you did disobey me. Since this could be helpful, your punishment will be less painful...although you may not be too pleased with what it is."

Yue got a bit scared but wouldn't show it, though it was hard with her shaking a bit. Yes master. I will accept any punishment you wish to give me. She looked at him straight in the eyes as she spoke.

Thextera could see her shaking and gave a small, twisted smile. "Yue, you have nothing to fear of me. I'm letting you, along with every other corrupted being, have the second chance the world never allowed you to have. Killing you is not part of that." As he took his hand away, he slowly walked up the stairs, stopping halfway. "Oh and as for your punishment. Tomorrow I'm sending you on another assignment with a few lesser demons. However, Arinth will be with you...he'll be the one calling all the shots for this particular mission. You are to follow whatever orders he gives."

Yue frowned at the thought of following Arnith's orders. But master, he is younger than me! I am his superior and he doesn't know of my capabilities! I will be put to waste if he does not know where to place me!

Thextera smiled. "Well then, this is quite the punishment then. In any case, neither you nor him should underestimate each other. Other than powers, the main difference between you and him is that he exists almost completely without emotion. This lack in emotion eliminates feelings of guilt, mercy and morality, giving room for careful calculation and planning. Combine that tactical nature with your raw power means the two of you could accomplish so much more than what you realise...so long as you learn to work together properly."
