Seth led Raina up the path to the nice looking brick house. He had told her he was takeing her somewhere safe for the night, although he didn't say where.

"What was once my home," he said, he led her up to the front door and pulled a keyring from his pocket. He stuck the key in the hole and opened the door, leading Raina in by her hand and re-locking the door once they were inside. He led her down a short hallway and into a nicely-furnished living room where an old man was sitting in an armchair reading a book. The old man looked up and smiled at Seth, setting his book down,
"Seth," he said, "welcome home son." the old man stood up quickly, surprising for his age, and gave Seth a big hug,
"Hi grandpa."
"And I see you've brought your fiance," he said, "you didn't tell me she was that beautiful."
"Raina, this is my grandpa Jack," Seth said, turing to Raina, "granpa Jack, this is... well... this is my Raina."

"I take it if you've brought her here it's important," grandpa Jack said, "well, you know where your room is, I'd like to talk but I got to go to bed." Jack walked over to the stairs across from the living room enterence, "Goodnight Seth." He said with a wave as he ascended the stairs
"Night Grandpa," Seth said as granpa Jack walked out of sight.

"He is," he said, "he helped raise me because my mom was only eighteen when she had me, he's like the father I never had." Seth wrapped Raina's hand in his, C'mon I'll show you my room. He led her downstairs and into a small room. He turned on the light to reveal Seth's old bedroom. In the room was an average sized bed, a small T.V. with a DVD player hooked up to it, and a large dresser with several photographs, one of which was framed and seemed to stand out from the rest.

The picture showed a beautiful woman, much like Raina, holding a baby wrapped tightly in a blanket. The young boy shared the same eye colour as the woman and Seth, "Oh that," Seth walked up behind her and looked at the picture, "thats my mom, and that little bundle of joy is me."

"Yeah..." he paused then choked on his next words, "not a day goes by that I don't miss her..." he turned away wiped his face, trying to hide his tears from Raina, who had - to his recolection - never seen him truley cry.

"I'm sorry Raina," he said after kissing her back, "I haven't looked at that picture in so long because every time I do I always end up letting my emotions go." he sat down on the surprisingly soft bed, "I've been doing my best to stay strong for you recently and help you with your problems." he wrapped her in his arms and lay back on the bed.

He smiled, "Thanks Raina," Seth said, "I'm glad I went in to check out your bar." He sat up again to take off his boots,
