So, Vriska, what's the plan here? Can we have details, locations, etc? I'm weird like this, but I like to plan ahead, and maybe a few more details will allow me to further flesh out Paul before we begin.

The Humans capitol world is Earth. The setting on Earth is like that of a utopia, world peace, with world peace and all. the technology level is early warp. Though everything is great, the Alternian empire is posing a huge threat to the human colonies.

SO! For the humans, Skaianet industries has released some tidbits of technology that seem to have some spatial distortion properties, The captchalogue inventory system, the likes of which was reverse engineered from the game SBURB, this was released as a promo to those who pre-purchased the game, but quickly became popular enough that it was sold as a stand alone product.
From the game, a method of FTL communication was also developed.
SBURB was announced two years ago by Skaianet industries, nothing is known about the game, just that the Captchalogue Inventory System is vital to it's operation. the game itself is a paradox (like in the story) It exists so that it exists, no one actually made it, it was more discovered.

As mentioned in the character thread, humans can choose to start on Earth or on a starship. All of the colonies are under siege from the Alternian empire. Did I mention how big of a threat these guys were?


On the troll side, you must start on Alternia. Trolls aren't friends with humans, they naturally want to kill humans, because humans aren't filled with hate as they are. This is why the Alterian empire is attacking the human colonies, Because they don't like them, and they can kick the ever living s**t out of them, so they might as well.

Within the troll society, the game was discovered amidst ancient ruins, thousands of years ago, so they've had that much time to reverse engineer all of what they need from it. The Captchalogue Inventory System (which I will be referring to as CIS if it ever comes up again) as well as FTL communication, which oddly enough overlaps with the humans FTL Com system. As well as more effective Warp drives, and other things that won't have any bearing on the game, in any way shape or form... like captcha missiles, and hate powered jet packs.

anywho, SGRUB is rediscovered by some stupid grubs (you guys, or generic NPCs, I'm not sure which) in a totally unexplored set of ruins. Unexplored, because they just fell to the planet the day before.
BLAH BLAH you know the mechanics from there.

everyone is playing in the same session, so if you guys will have to make amends and stop bickering just long enough to defeat the black king and queen.
