The supernatural creatures have existed for longer than any care to admit. Few humans know of their existence. This is no accident. It is carefully planned and even more carefully maintained.

Pine Ridge is a small town located in the Lowptra Mountains. It is a very small and isolated town. This is the home of a werewolf pack and humans. These humans know of werewolves and other supernatural creatures and the pack trusts them with this information. Many of the humans here are related to or married to a werewolf. They feel safe, protected.

There is change in the air. Science is making hiding more and more difficult. Soon, hard choices will have to be made. There are whispers that the choice has already been made of what to do. Only one man knows for sure....

The Alpha
The Alpha is the head of the pack. The most dominant male. He rules over the pack and protects the subordinates. At least, this is the way things should be though it is not always so...

The Omega
The Omega lives outside the pack hierarchy. They are neither dominant nor submissive. They are a thing apart. They have dominant tendencies but without all of the violent ones. They are rare. Dominants feel the need to protect them.

Mates
Werewolves mate for life. Their bond is much like that of the Alpha's to the pack. They can feed off of each others' feelings and power.

The Marrok is the Alpha of Alphas

Bio/History: Syn had been relatively happy as a human though her life hadn't been easy. A little more than a year ago, everything changed about her life. She was viciously attacked. She almost died. Almost. Now, however, she is no longer human. Not knowing it to be true or not, she was told that her family was killed. She had no choice but to go with the monster who offered her a home. No choice indeed. Suffering from abuse and neglect, she has finally fled. She hopes to find a place where she may hide. Something has drawn her to the mountains. To a tiny town: Pine Ridge.

Bio/History: Freya was 22 when it happened. The handsome young suitor who had been wooing her changed one night and attacked her. She nearly died. Nearly. It has been a long time since that night and the man who changed her is now long past dead. She doesn't talk about her past to many people, letting only a handful close. Despite being female, Freya is very dominant. Were she a male, she would surely be an alpha.

While on earth she disguised herself as a human woman, it was then she met Wymond, sensing what he was she decided she wanted him as the father of her next child. She marveled at the powers the child would be able to command. After she had gotten pregnant she faked her death during childbirth, so she could watch the boy grow from afar, and now she senses the darkness budding within him and has returned to earth to claim her son.
