~Characters~ Name: Saria Haruga Kolulu ButaiAge: 19 Bio: Kagome's friend who was studying abroad in Egypt but she came back for a visit and caught Kagome slipping away into the well house. Saria sighed as she walked up the tall steps to the Higurashi Shrine. She smiled as she wasn't the least bit tired even after the long hike. 'Try hiking through mountains of sand each day for 3 years, this is nothing compared to that.' She though to herself. On her back she carried a large sky blue backpack with a black sleeping bag tied to the top of it. In the back pack were female essentials like pads and bathing items and make up along with a first aid kit and a bit of food. She also carried with her a tote bag, black with pink decorative stars upon it. In this she carried quite a few changes of clothes. As Saria reached the top, she smiled happily at the home not far off. It was the home of her good friend Kagome whom she hadn't seen in forever. She couldn't wait to see-hey, wasn't that just her?! Saria's brain regestered as she saw Kagome for some strange reason was carrying a gigantic yellow back twice the size of her own and headed into the well house. Quickly following her, Saria gasped as she saw Kagome sit on the lip of the well as if about to jump, ' The backpack's going to crush her on the bottom!' Saria thought and ran foreward, " Wait, Kagome don't do it!" She cried grabbing her rather surprised friend by the backpack intending to pull her back but the balance of weight was uneven and Saria was pulled down into the well with Kagome. She quickly closed her eyes as she waited for the end to hit but...it never came...instead, Saria felt both herself and Kagome float down and her feet gently touched the bottom of the well making her eyes open wide in surprise. " What the- What just happened?" she demanded of Kagome.
" Saria! Is that you?" Kagome asked her friend in surprise. " Yeah it's me, I came back all the way from Egypt to see you and I come across what appears to be you trying to kill yourself?! What in the seven hells is going on Kagome?!" Saria demanded. There were interupted however by a young boy with red hair calling from the top of the well, " Hey guys! Kagome's here and she's brought a friend! Quick we need her to stop Inuyasha!" The boy said, making Kagome groan in annoyance as they now noticed the sounds of a battle going on over head. " What the-" "No time to explain, come on." Kagome cut her off as she began climbing up out of the well. With a sigh, Saria followed her up into the bright sun light. 'Wha....but how? We were in the well house....and where's the actual house?!' Saria thought as she looked around in wonder until her eyes finally fell on the two battling. It was two men, both with silver hair but one had dog ears and was dressed in red while the other was dressed in a fine Kimono and had strange facial tattoos. However, both her wielding huge dangerous looking swords and the look of 'intent to kill' in their eyes.

Sessomaru came back suddenly, his blade out in front of him.
"Enough of this. Since you obviously can't take me alone, you bring not one, but two friends with you now? Don't make me laugh."
He turned and walked away, glancing back to ensure Inuyasha hadn't been following.

" I didn't bring no one! This is between you and me p***k! Get back here!" Inuyasha snarled, charging at Sesshomaru. " Oh, no you don't, Inuyashs...SIT!" Kagome snapped making Inuyasha freeze where he was and fall face first into the ground. Meanwhile, Sango, Shippo, Miroku and even Rin and Jaken who were waiting with Inuyasha's group till the fight ended were staring at Saria with wide eyes. If they thought Kagome's outfit was weird, hers was down right unnatural!

((......I know you read the story line, he's suppose to stop and look at my character too cause of her weird clothes! This is set in the later episodes and he'll actually talk to them now. He's kinda like Seto Kaiba from Yugioh now but now so loud and with a deeper voice.)) Rin and Jaken continued to stand there staring at the strange girl. " Uh...can I help you?" She asked, a little wierded out by the stares.

(The thing is, I'm well aware that Seto Kaiba doesn't give a hoot in Hell, and to be frank, neither does Sesso. But I guess I'll make a few accommodations.)
Sessomaru turned after gaining some noticeable distance, glancing at the newcomer. "This is a first." He said, only half-interested. "Probably another oddity from when that other girl came around..."
(and of course out of character I'm actually waiting for you to come up to me, since it's way out of place for Sesso to be randomly walking up so outnumbered)

(( I didn't say he had to walk up, he just had to notice. I'm gonna skip a bit to later that night and I know I'm kinda godding but lets say Sesshomaru camped about a half mile away from them because it was the closest place near water, ok?)) After Sesshomaru and his company walked off Saria was given the whole run down and since Inuyasha wouldn't let Kagome leave for home now that she'd returned, Sarai wasn't leaving either. After setting up camp with the rest of them for the night, Saria started to walk towards the hot spring with her towel and shampoo in hand intending to take a bath. A young girls scream interupts her thoughts however and without thinking Saria runs to the child. She is surprised when she runs into Sesshomaru (she found out his name through Inuyasha cursing about him) and his party with Sesshomaru and Jaken standing before the little girl who was crying as blood was running down her thighs. " Lord Sesshomaru what's happening? Am I gonna die?" The young girl cried. Seeing the blood Saria let out an audible sigh of relief making the young girl look at her. " The way you were screaming I thought you were being killed...don't worry dear, that's natural." Saria told the young girl with a smile who then looked to Lord Sesshomaru for an explanation which he didn't have.

((No! Sesshomaru is nice to Rin in the manga and anime! He treats her almost like a daughter cause she helped him when he was badly hurt, she brought him food and wasn't scared and then to return the favor he reserected her after wolves attacked her village and killed her and he took her in. So you must be's nice when I say it's Rin looking to him for an answer.)) Saria shot a glare at Sesshomaru then offered her hand to the young girl. " Come on, lets go wash you off and I'll explain it since Lord Stick-up-his-butt doesn't know..." Saria said to the little girl, taking her small hand in her own and walking her to the hot springs were she had the litte girl sit on the edge and helped her wash her underwear off and put a pad on it for her as she explained the workings of the female reproductive system.

Sessomaru came around then, shoving Saria away, glaring.
"Leave her be. You don't even belong here, why throw yourself in with the company of your friends' known enemy?"

Saria jumped up after being shoved away and surprisingly, she simply stood up and actually shove THE Sesshomaru back with quite a bit of strength for any normal human. " I'm not hurting her I'm helping her, which is more than I can say you did just a moment ago while she was crying scared cause you haven't got the faintest idea how to handle it. I may be camping with them because Kagome is an old friend but you will find I don't care for sides, I help who needs it and you're certainly not my enemy because you don't even know me. And the only enemy in that group is really your dimwitted idiotic bad mouthed hot headed half sibling! So, considering his intelligence level I don't think you have anything to worry about." Saria snapped at him, obviously disliking his brother as much as he did but not for his blood, " And another thing, because I'm not with them, I've decided I'm going to join you cause she needs my help through this." Saria told him with a no argument attitude that rivaled his own.

He turned and leaned against a nearby tree, head down, thinking.
