Not unless it caused a sinus infection, but doctors are prescribing them more and more for viruses just to silence the patient. They finish the course in the time it takes them to finish the cold, so nobody knows the difference. lol

Do you think it matters if you don't finish your course of antibiotics?
It does matter; we learned about this in high school Biology. When you stop taking them halfway through, you've only killed off the bacteria that are LEAST resistant---AKA the less dangerous ones---leaving the other ones free to reproduce into a more resistant problem in your system and then spread to someone else. That person will then only do a half course of different antibiotics, and spread it to someone else. That's why we're faced with the new threat of "super germs," which is one of the reasons why there are all those hand sanitizers everywhere.
In your country, can you buy antibiotics at a chemist shop?
Not that I'm aware of.

Yes. Also caused by antibacterial soap, if I'm not mistaken.
