Introduction Welcome to Sebastian Credence's manor. The manor resides on a cliff overlooking the great Pacific ocean. The area is completely inaccessible except in one direction, and of course the sea if someone is brave enough to climb the slipper and jagged cliff wall that rises 200 feet off the beach.
A dense fog surrounds manor grounds. Very few are able to navigate the grounds and once lost are usually never found unless by Mr. Credence himself of course.
Although the manor has a Victorian exterior on the inside it is full to the brim with modern appliances and decor. Some rooms are completely devoted to one specific style of decor or theme, and there are more rooms than Sebastian has cared to count yet.

we all have a story to tell S.e.b.a.s.t.i.a.n 90, 100, 110. Sebastian continued to accelerate the vehicle to higher and unfathomably reckless speeds along the curvy road that led to his manor. Several hours had passes since he left the emporium with two new slaves. They accompanied him in the car now. The previous hours of driving had been spent with a painful awkwardness. Sebastian was not a talkative person, preferring to listen before speaking, and he had utterly failed to make any conversation with the two. There had been a few times he had opened his mouth to speak, but then banished his own thoughts away with the excuse of it being untactful, or just silly. Finally, the trio began to enter the grounds of the manor.
A thick, and seemingly impenetrable fog lay before them. Sebastian didn't slow down as they approached it, and as a matter of fact he actually accelerated to faster speed. Just as they were about to plunge head first into the fog, virtually blind, the vampire waved his hand lazily and the fog immediately brushed aside as if blown away by the wind and they continued to drive on. If either or the brother's happened to turn around and look behind them they would've seen that every few feet of fog they cleared, behind them it slipped back in to cover the area. This occurrence was actually a cloaking mechanism designed by Sebastian to keep out intruders. He summoned a new fog once a day to make sure it stayed consistently thick and impenetrable. Few had ever made it through to the manor, and if they did, then Sebastian would dispense with them accordingly. Of course there were the few rare instances in which Sebastian would have guest come, however, they would always seem to find their minds completely blank as to the whereabouts of the mansion after they'd left.
Once again in familiar territory Sebastian found a bit more confidence. "These are the outer grounds of my manor," he said to the brothers. "I would advise against visiting this area. If you come out here I will not come to look for you until the next day, maybe. There is much more than just lonely fog out here, however. I've bred a few beasts that thrive in this sort of environment to keep it clear of intruders. Besides, there's not much to see out here anyways so it shouldn't really interest you." They drove on for a few more minutes until they reached the end of the fog, and a well-manicured lawn stretched out before them. The weather was cloudy, and a light mist fell, once again this was due to Sebastian. The car pulled closer to a large gate with thick iron bars that seemed to be inlaid with silver runes. With another lazy wave of his hand the gates swung open, and when the car passed through they slammed shut with an almost ominous clang. "That gate was a gift from a noted alchemist. It will only open at my, or his command. Therefore I must ask you not to go playing around it. It has a lot of power packed into it, and is known for killing people it does not approve of."
Finally the car pulled up to a large manor. Sebastian didn't offer any explanation of it however, seeing as it was pretty clear that was where they would be staying. He pared the car outside the door on the wrap around drive and stepped out. "Well, come along then," he said rather cheerfully to the boys. "We've got lots to see. Oh, do either of you have any questions so far?"

The brothers were even less interested in talking to their new Master than their Master seemed in them. Despite the high speeds that the vampire drove at, neither devil's wore seatbelts. Deus was slouched back in his seat with his feet up on the dashboard. The tips of his long fingers drummed on his flat stomach out of idle boredom as he watched the scenery fly by. Lemuel had fallen asleep some time ago, but the sound of his Master's voice caused him to awaken and he dragged himself up into a sitting position. He turned to the window as the vampire spoke. Deus too was taking in the sights they were being listed off. "I think we'd manage." He replied, quiet amusement in his voice. The fog was thick, but it was only water. As devils, they had unreasonably high temperatures. He didn't doubt that he would be able to evaporate at least some of the magic-birthed fog. Enough that it wouldn't drown out the sounds and scents too much, anyway. As for the creatures; they were angel trained devils! If their lineage alone didn't scare off the prey - and their Master's beasts were prey in their eyes - then the crucifixes about their necks certainly would. But, neither brother really did have all too much interest in venturing into the fog, no matter how well they felt they could deal with it. Cold and wet wasn't exactly their forte.
Lemuel, on the other hand, was more interested in the gate, and he turned in his seat to watch it as they retreated. A gate with feelings, eh? What a sight! With a very much childlike naivete he decided that he would very much like to make friends with this gate and spend time playing about it's bars. Finally though, the trio made it to the manor. The brothers followed their Master out of the car, and moved to stand behind him, their leashes hanging lank and unused from their necks. They looked to each other for a few moments as they pondered his question. Lemuel tilted his head to the side slightly before giving a small nod. "What is your name?" He asked curiously. It was obvious from his voice that the answer wasn't of his utmost importance. He had just figured that one of them should probably ask a question, and his Master's name seemed as good as any to ask.

we all have a story to tell S.e.b.a.s.t.i.a.n Sebastian was actually caught off guard by the one brother's question. He hadn't realized he had neglected to tell either of his two new slaves his name. The vampire silently berated himself while trying to hide his amusement at the same time. Apparently, he was much more excited than he had realized. Otherwise, Sebastian knew he would have never overlooked something like that.
Turning around to face the brother's Sebastian smiled pleasantly, and gave a slight bow. "My name is Sebastian Cre'ance. However, you may call me Sebastian, or sir." Sebastian walked closer to the brothers and studied them for a few moments. He first started with Lemuel. He seemed the softer of the two, however, Sebastian knew that was difficult to determine based on his first few hours with them. "Lemeul," he said the name softly, testing the sound from his own lips. He raised his right hand and cupped Lemuel's chin. With gentle force Sebastian turned the boy's face left and then right, stuying the reflections of the dim moonlight across his face and the way that the surounding fog distorted that same moonlight across his features. Sebastian turned to Deus and took a step toward him. This was the one that had taken to seat next to him in the car. "Deus," he said softly, once again testing the name. Sebastian made the same movements on Deus's face as he had on Lemuel's. "Beautiful," he whispered. "It's ironic that you both are as blessed in aesthetic features as you are. Or, perhaps is it a curse. So, I can't help but wonder, was it God's work, or the Devil's?" It wasn't uncommon for Sebastian to make such aloof statements. His age being what it was, Sebastian was prone to fits of an almost gentle madness where he would speak in riddles or the like. Luckily, one of those fits hadn't come on for at least four decades now. He released his grip on Deus' face and turned his back to both brothers. "Well, let's continue on." Sebastian began walking towards the large main doors of the mansion expecting the two to follow.
Sebastian silently pondered over what he was doing. Would these two be too much for him to handle? Deus had already made his contempt clear by the way he had acted at the shop, and the disrespectful way he had propped his boots up on the dash of Sebastian's car throughout the drive. And then there was Lemuel. It actually unnerved Sebastian more that he wasn't able to determine that one's outlook on his current situation. These two were unpredictable, but then again Sebastian reminded himself that was exactly what he was looking for. The vampire finally banished away his doubts for the moment decided to act on what was going on then. He would see how things progressed through the evening and make further judgment later.

The two brothers stood idly as Sebastian introduced himself. Lemuel yawned. It was no intentional sign of disrespect though, and he did indeed cover his mouth as he did so an offered a brief but apologetic smile. It had been quite a long drive and cages did not make for comfortable sleeping arrangements; he was genuinely a little fatigued. Neither brother showed any particular interest toward the information, but showed no real disinterest either. They had given their Master their attention while he spoke as expected, then grey eye flickered away to take in the scenery when he finished.
Both sets of eyes were drawn back to the vampire when he took Lemuel's chin though and the young devil obligingly allowed himself to be manipulated. His body language was lazy, fingers curled about the cross that hung from his neck. Deus' attention was the same; idle but obliging. The sentence that followed though certainly pricked him to attention and he subconsciously rose one hand to faintly caress the cherry wood crucifix. "All actions of creation are ultimately the decision of God." The older devil recited perfectly, a lesson that Kadmiel had taught him well. And a lesson that the brothers had taught Kadmiel; "It's the reactions He needs to worry about," These words were spoken in a far more devilish tone, with an equally devilish smirk, "For example, your birth was undeniably the work of God, as is all creation. But it was the reaction of a far less holy being to yourself the led to your current state."
Sebastian could ponder the years away with pointless, riddling questions, but when it came to the topics of the brothers' two Lords, they were very much opinionated. The problem was that they were far too biased on both sides to ever reach any sort of definitive conclusion. For the moment, however; it seemed that that was all Deus had to say on the matter. Lemuel on the other hand was looking down at the crucifix in his hands, running one thumb over the sculpted would. "God does not curse. Only bless, or test." He mumbled to himself. How could Sebastian not know that? If it was a curse, then it was most certainly the doing of the Devil, and he was fairly certain that He would not curse two of his own. Whatever the vampire wanted to know about the two, it could probably be discerned to some extent by their reactions to that statement alone more than any other. Nothing showed a being truer than their alliances. And the devils had forged alliances to both sides. They were like an open book, no desire to mask themselves, the problem was that they were so scrambled in their own minds that the book seemed to be written in no comprehensible language.
When the vampire began to move toward the house the devils exchanged a brief, dubious glance. Their leashes hung lank and unused about their necks. They could not remove the leashes themselves, for Renn's magic had ensured that, but it seemed strange to them for such articles to be neglected, yet they were still quite clearly expected to follow. This could mean any number of things, and being naturally inquisitive creatures they were quite curious. The neglect of the leashes could be used as a show of power, a threat even, or of a naive assurance that the slaves would follow obediently. Or it could be a sign of discomfort at a display of dominance and ownership, which would be quite an odd quality for a Master to possess. Each option had varying resulting consequences to a sort of Goldilocks effect. The foremost possibility could bode badly for them, the middle well and the latter-most could swing either way. If it was the middle, then it was only lucky for the vampire that it was the devils that he had chosen and no other black collars for they did follow him cooperatively into the house.
