and i'm totally happy about it! ^.^ heart
i briefly considered getting an Islamic Ceremony, but... i'm not realy a monotheist, and besides which i wanted to think deeply about it before i settled on it.
i thought about the Hare Krishnas in town, and thought to myself that that seemed better for me, since i was raised under Hindi values. i asked the KrishnaLunch group if they have Priests who can perform legally recognized Weddings, and i was told yes, and given lots of information. ^.^
i called the President of the Hare Krishna Temple in Alachua, her name is Mukhya, and the details are perfect, and the costs are extremely great! roughly $500.00, including the Reception and Catering. Music is free~ heart
so, i'm gonna check out the Temple when i get the chance. ^_^ i wanna make sure it's all comfortable for me before i finalize my decision.
i may try one of the Islamic Centers in town next if this doesn't work out for me, but i'm NOT getting married in front of a District Judge... i will ask this teenage Interfaith Priest i know to perform the Wedding if all else fails. xd
