Lexi rode up to the still lighted gas station. She pulled up next to pump number 3. Hopping off her bike, she pulled a pistol from the holster on her thigh. Looking around, she reloaded and went inside the gas station. She held the pistol in front of her and held it at the ready. There was no one in sight. The gas station was empty.
With a small sigh Lexi hopped over the counter and pressed the buttons that would turn on pump number 3. She pulled a carton of cigarettes from the shelf and stuffed it into her bag. She pulled out her wallet and placed the correct amount of money inside the cash register. She grabbed a large bottle of water and walked outside to pump her gas. She kept her pistol still held at the ready.

Niku Rode up Slowly...He Saw a Dimly Lit Gas Station. A Girl Was There...Pumping Gas. He Decided to have some Fun. He Parked his Bike Around Back. He Slowly Slinked up behind her and Looked her over...She was ready for a fight...He had to be careful. he slowly snuck behind her and noticed the carton of cigarettes. He carefully pulled out the carton and shook them...to let the Woman know he was there. "Ya Know...These can kill you Right?" he said with a chuckle. He made sure his Glasses Were against his Eyes and Smiled.

With a surprised yelp she said "I could have killed you!" A smile slowly lit upon her face. It had been weeks since she had seen a live person.
"It's the end of the world and you're worried about a few cigarettes?" She asked with a tinkling little giggle.

Niku Tossed them back to her. "Well...If they Dont Get you...The Zombies Will." He Said with a chuckle. He Slowly Stuck out his hand...Realizing she Wasnt Hostile. "Niku...Nice to Meet You." He said with a smile.

"It's a pleasure to meet you Niku. You can call me Lexi." She said with a timid smile.
"You're the first live person I've seen in a while." she said as she holstered the pistol on her thigh, and replaced the gas pump.
"How did you get here?" She asked.

Niku Smiled. "Nice to Meet You..." He said with a smile. When she asked how he got here Niku Pulled out his ID Card...in Big Bold Letter ZAST Was on it...RIght under that was his Name.

Lexi looked at the card and shook her head "I meant how did you arrive here? You couldn't have walked." She said with a giggle.
She pulled out a water bottle and took a sip.

Niku Chuckled at his Mistake. "My Bike is Parked Out Back." He said with a Smile. He Pulled out a Can of Dr. Pepper from inside his Coat. He Cracked it open and Took a Long Sip. "Ahhhh....Best thing in the World." He said with a Laugh.

Niku Shook His Head. "No Thanks...Im Good...I Think Im Going to get something from inside though." Instead of Using the Door. niku Broke through the Window...He Grabbed as many Packs of Gum he Could Carry in his outer Pockets....He then grabbed a Package of Beef Jerky and Walked back out the Door. Niku Smiled at her. "You Goin anywhere?"

"Where is there to go?" She asked quietly, then shrugged. "I was going to stick around here for a while. What about you?" She asked and took another sip of her water.

Niku Studied the Gas Station and Saw a Second Story. He Ran inside and Found the Stairway Leading Up. "Yeah...This Seems Good...We Need Some Wood and Metal Though. It Will Make a Good Base!" He Shouted Down to Her Happily.

Lexi smiled a beaming smile up at him and followed Niku upstairs. She walked into a comfortable apartment. It had about four rooms and a balconey in the back. Lexi ran a finger across the fire escape and thought this would be a good base. It came with an emergency exit, there was plenty of room, The gas station downstairs would provide many supplies.
"Where do you think we could get those building materials?" She asked furtively.
(Got to go for now. Maybe I'll get on later...if not, then tomorrow for sure. =09 blaugh )
