If a major zombie attack were to really happen, what would you do?
Hide out in this seemingly safe suburban neighborhood?
Try to hack it on your own by killing the many zombies standing between you and safety, just to get killed immediately after stepping off the front stoop.
Curl up in a little ball and die on your own due to a panic attack. When the wind blows, the dust that you will become will float away in the breeze.
Spend the outbreak holed up in your basement arguing with friends about the believablity between Romero zombies and all others.
Survive using the knowledge I've obtained from years of studying every zombie movie ever made and committing to memory 'The Zombie Survival Guide' by Max Brooks.

Lexi stood at the front door with her hand on the knob. She had just killed her Mother and older brother. Tears were streaming down her face and she just wanted to get away from here. She wished her dad was still alive, he'd know what to do.
She finally opened the door and took a peek outside. Her mouth dropped open and she just stood there for a moment staring as the quiet little neighborhood she had grown up in turned to hell around her.
She saw her neighbors and friends fighting each other. Others were just shooting from the upstairs windows of their homes. Some of them were crazy like her mom and brother had been. Jaws snapping, eyes blank, gutteral moans escaping from their mouths. These were the ones banging at locked doors and breaking windows in an attempt to get to the people inside.
Lexi walked back inside quickly. After locking the door and baricading the broken window in her own home, she ran upstairs and prepared herself to run. She took a quick shower to wash away the blood.
When she was dressed, she walked down to the shed. She still had the hatchet she used to kill her mom, but what else should she take? She wondered.
Finally, she chose a trowel and the hedge clippers. She went back inside her house. Lexi felt an intense urgency to get out of this house. She knew she was like a sitting duck, even though she was a black belt, how many could she fight off if they all attacked at once? She grimaced and set to packing her messenger bag with things she'd need.
She then went to the garage. She had just bought a beautiful new motorcycle. She swung one leg up was just going to start the engine when she noticed her dad's old hunting rifle. She pulled it off the shelf and found some shells for it.
Now that she had a more powerful weapon, an idea struck her. She ran upstairs to what had once been her parents bedroom and what was now, her mother's tomb. She avoided the blood that had spread from her mother's body, hastily covered in a sheet and stepped into the huge walk-in closet. She sat next to the big wall safe that had always hidden behind her father's clothes.
After a few terrifying moments when she didn't think she could recall the combination, she punched in the right code. The door sprung open and there on the bottom shelf were the custom made pistols her father had lovingly cleaned and oiled until his death last year.
Pulling out three of her father's shoulder holsters, she started to adjust them. One she adjusted to fit on her shoulder. The other two, she adjusted to fit each thigh and placed the custom pistols inside. They stayed snuggly in place. She took the handgun and all the ammo.
She again entered the garage, this time feeling more prepared. She swung her leg over the bike and kick started the powerful machine to life. Lexi hit the button to open the garage door for the last time and once again was confronted by the neighborhood she had grown up in. She didn't really want to leave, but she knew she couldn't stay here. It just wasn't safe. She rode the motorcycle slowly out of the garage.

Redsky was still crouched on the ground at the gas station
(read "gas station" rp)
surrounded by strangers, she began to zone out

redsky's head was hurting her- there was a storm brewing- she could tell-
her brother had always told her that she was some kind of "little weather chart" maybe he was right
she shouldnt think about her brother but , even though unforgivable, she couldnt help it
her only family- her brother
she smiled, knowing that although they were not together at the moment, her brother was a born survivor

She passed a few zombies on the streets, it had been a long time since Lexi had been home. with barely a glance, she shot them each in the head as she passed. She stopped at what used to be her old family home. She wondered what might've been and tears came to her eyes. She bit back her tears and turned off the idling motorcycle. She rummaged through her bag and pulled out a cigarette.
She glanced around a few times as she stood there smoking. leaning against the mailbox in an eerily quiet, long vacant neighborhood.

Redsky (still at gas station) thinks back to where she had been before she got here

i looked up and down the street, zombie check, - i seemed to be in an old abandoned neighborhood

Suddenly there were 2 gunshots in the distance , that noise still made me jump, and i turned in panic to see where they had come from only to see a woman with a gun in the distance

i lent my motorbike against a wall, it was running outta gas and if i could walk i would, and slowly creeped towards the figure with my hand on my gun in its holster

she was alive, and as i assumed female , quite tall with long curled brown hair , and she had cigs!!! !( the pic on your profile HUNNY ? am i right)

i made my way slowely towards her still, only observing for now.....

(Yeah, though her hair is supposed to be red. ;oD )

Taking a puff of the cigarrette, Hunny looked around once more. She absently mindedly wiped the tears that had been stinging her eyes. It was dangerous for her to be here. Dangerous to remember them. That life was long dead, and she'd do well to forget it. Survival should be first and foremost in her mind. She exhaled a little cloud of smoke and angrily stomped the butt in the gutter.
She glanced around and reloaded her pistol quickly. Realizing her hands were shaking, she took a few deep breaths to calm her nerves. Hunny couldn't remember how long it had been since she'd been here last. All she knew was that the last time had been bad, she'd buried them all. She'd also hidden supplies in her old childhood home and times were rough, she needed to stock up.
The house didn't look vandalized at all, she briefly wondered if thieves had been in there, as she strode up the walkway and slipped a necklace up over her head. There was a key on the chain and her key slid easily into the lock.

Redsky (still at gastation)

i tiptoed closer for a better look of the woman as she went into the house she had been standing outside of, she used a key...? does that mean there are supplies here or, is she hiding somthing?......

i have 2 choices : wait until dark and steal anything i could get my hands on (if there is anything to be had)
or there was always plan B : use my childlike face for her to pity me and give me stuff- but do i even want to talk to her...?
even at the tender age of "almost 17" redsky was incredibilly babylike :

about average height and build, strong and agile but childlike features of large green eyes and small hands and feet with rosy cheeks, she looked a lot younger than she was

was this a good thing or not , no one relly knows

"ahh frig" i tripped over a glass bottle which cracked and rolled away from me- i was on my knees outside the house where the woman had went into , and i had skinned my hands and knees onthe ground as well - i looked at the bloodstaind ground and tried to work out how i had managed to trip over the bottle when it dawned on my that she would have heard me : ok ...plan B or run, i got up off the ground at started to run, only to trip on the same bottle and fall on my face....

A horde of Tyrants jumped from the rooftops and surrounded the small party.

Thomas: So much for an easy job. Chris stand between us and stay out of their reach.

Thomas and The T-101X prepared for a fight.
