Why have I only just noticed there bring aload of Alien Power Cells scattered around Ancorage Memorial neutral And a gun! "Firelance" I've played this game through a few times now (with the expantions) and necer notoced that!

I only managed to find that weapon once in 5 saves. But it wasn't there, it was in the middle of nowhere in the wasteland.

It's a random encounter. I never use the gun, I hoarde it away in my magical filing cabinet in Megaton.
