Niners... T^T I has a sad.... It's okay though!
Slightly confusing way to do records eh...? Oh well. XD

Welcome to the Annual NFL Guild Pick of the Week 2010. We will be selecting the winners from 5 NFL games. After you have selected the winning team your choice is final. You must post the teams you are selecting here. Do not PM me your choices. If you don't post here who you are selecting I won't know. Once you have posted you choices here I will add your name to the list of people participating in the event. Remember that this guild event is free. We will keep a record of your wins and the person with the most wins or perhaps win percentage not only gets the bragging rights, but 5000 gold. Or maybe more if I can actually access the guild account...

The NFL Guild Pick of the Week will be closed 30 minutes before kickoff of the first game.

Wow, one point away from going 0-5. Not the best of ways to start off a regular season, but this is still week 1, so we shall see where things go from here.

Seattle at Denver- I feel really bad for Kyle Orton, he's just waiting around for the inevitable decision to start Tim Tebow. And Brady Quinn? Lord knows why he was brought into Denver. I knew Coach Carroll would eventually lead the Seahawks to success, I just didn't think it would be this fast! And against a weak Broncos team, I can see the Seahawks getting off to a fast 2-0 start.
WINNER- SEATTLE SEAHAWKS

Patriots at N.Y. Jets- Remind me again which team had the hype coming into this season and all the talk of going to the Superbowl? Wes Welker is back with a vengence. Tom Brady and the Patriots offense will be tough to stop with him back and healthy. As for the Jets, I know the Ravens have a really tough defense, but Mark Sanchez's performance monday night was bad. He really needs to step it up, and fast.
WINNER- NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS

Texans at Redskins- Wow, what a statement by the Houston Texans, especially by Arian Foster, What I wouldn't give to go back last week and start him on my fantasy team... If I had a fantasy team. Washington won a tough game against division rival Dallas, but the Cowboys were sloppy through the whole game, and were one holding penalty shy of stealing it at the last second. I picked the Texans to have a winning season and go to the playoffs this year and I'm going to continue to ride them.
WINNER- HOUSTON TEXANS

N.Y. Giants at Colts- It happens once every 4 years, the Manning bowl, Peyton vs. Eli! Older vs. Younger brother. Despite their loss last week Peyton still had an excellent day, 433 passing yards and 3 touchdowns, completing 40 of 57 passes, yet the colts still lost. Eli was slow to start, but finished with 268 passing yards and 3 touchdowns himself. The Colts need to fix their run defense, or else no amount of excellence from Peyton will win the day for them. We shall have to wait and see if Big bro makes it 2-0 against little bro, or if Eli can score his first win against big brothers team.
WINNER- INDIANAPOLIS COLTS

Saints and 49ers- Did the memo ever get to the 49ers that they were suppose to walk away with their division this year? They were bad, just horrible. Many point the blame at Alex Smith, some on the coaches, others at a defense which didn't play nearly at it's potential, problem is they showed they have more problems than I think they can overcome in one week, and even if they do well enough to get over these problems, I doubt they will be good enough to take down the defending Superbowl champions.
WINNER- NEW ORLEANS SAINTS

Recap- Seahawks, Patriots, Texans, Colts, Saints

The Seattle Seahawks (1-0) at The Denver Broncos (0-1)-note Tebow won't play that often.

The New England Patriots (1-0) at The New York Jets (0-1) -note defense can stop the Patriots offense plus the Pats D is not as good as it once was.

The Houston Texans (1-0) at The Washington Redskins (1-0)

The New York Giants (1-0) at The Indianapolis Colts (0-1)

The New Orleans Saints (1-0) at The San Francisco 49ers (0-1)- Note the Niners are going to lose to Brees unless the madden Curse kicks in this game.

I guess I'll say why I pick who I pick. And all I can say about last week is wow.

The Seattle Seahawks- Seahawks are out to prove something I suppose ._.

The New England Patriots- We have a young defense but we played well last week. They Jets Offense needs some work and I don't think they get enough for this game. We will win a close one though because the Jets D.

The Houston Texans- Arian Foster. I've been trying to get him in our Fantasy league. They have a good Defense and a great Offense. Skins are not as talented, and got lucky last week against a Team I knew would have trouble the 1st week.

The Indianapolis Colts- They played a power house of a team last week and they only lost by 10. I'm going to have to go with Manning and the Colts on this one.

The San Francisco 49ers- I don't pay much attention to the 49'ers, and every week I pick an underdog. This will be them. Anyway, the Saints are not close to as good as they were last year from what I seen in the past Vikings game. They looked kind of off... I see the 49'ers D shutting them down.

Broncos - I can't pick the Seahawks. Mike Nolan knows the team too, so we'll see how that goes defensively.
Patriots - That offense will take advantage of Cromartie and the rookie. That Defense will come after a terrible Sanchez.
Redskins - I'm rooting for McNabb.
Colts - Giants just aren't that good. Colts will look to rebound. They don't want to go 0-2.
Niners - I can't root against my Niners.
