Carly took a huge gulp when she finally walked inside, because she never really liked going alone anywhere she hasn't been before. Damn Matthew, for abandoning her like this! She'd be the subject of huge laughs when the hairdresser saw those ugly pink splotches. Fairy or not, it was not something to show off. Her manner of walking was hesitant and controlled, showing off exactly what she was feeling; nervousness and second doubts.
She didn't see anybody around, but maybe they were in the back? She rang a little bell thingie at the front desk, and rapidly pulled her hand back. Please be somebody nice and quiet, and not perky and chatty. Please, please, please!
[[Finally got around to this, sheesh! Anyway, just to screw Carly over, I want Kade to attend her. ;D]]

Unfortunately for her, Kade was the only one in that morning. Fleurette was out and about, probably visiting that new bakery he was telling her about. Ah, but, Fleurette was just as bouncy and chatty as Kade was, so, really, the woman was doomed no matter who was in that day. The man leaned over the front desk, wondering what his little boys were off doing. Yoakim was probably in the mine, as usual, while Speckle.. well, he was doing rabbit things inside his hutch at home. Those were all nice and all, but Kade kinda wished one of them were here to keep him company. He'd already talked to Ellie and, sure, he felt better about the whole thing, but that didn't change the fact his usual customers had switched to Fleurette! He sighed and rolled onto his back, now laying half-way underneath the desk. Oh, how dreadful! That he hadn't touched another's head of hair for.. weeks! Two weeks! Two weeks that his artistic talent had to be bottled up for no one to see! Fleurette had been improving, but Kade was over here dying!
Someone ringed the bell and the man looked up at the desk. ..He should really dust under here sometime. “One minute!” He called out and slowly slid himself from underneath, smoothing out the wrinkles in his shirt while he lifted himself up. Not as cheery as usual, but what would the woman know? He hadn't exactly seen her before. Or else he would have noticed the - “Oh. My. God.” His eyes popped open and a hand rested over his mouth. Her.. her hair.. was.. He almost started to cry! “What happened?! Sweetie, that looks terrible! Were you trying to be cool or something? Uh, sorry, but that's.. that's – god, what were you thinking?!” He rounded the desk and scolded her as he came to hover around her hair. Pink splotches?! He grimaced and took a bundle of it in hand to examine. Yeah.. that was real quality hair dye, but.. what had she done, rolled in it?!

Carly was taken aback by the blue haired young man, flinching a bit when he approached her so hastily. Her eyes were a bit wide, but she soon relaxed to a moderate level. "I..." Carly started, "I don't know what happened!" she confessed, quite surprised at his lack of sensitivity to other people's feelings. "I fell asleep, and when I woke up, it was like this?" she raised her pitch at the end, making it sound like a question.
How could someone so trusting not have been taken advantage of? She couldn't remember when she was that trusting, ever. "Someone told me about fairies... or some nonsense..." she said with a little discomfort, not liking how she couldn't see what he was doing. "You think it's saveable?" she asked, her green eyes worried at the idea of a stranger working with her hair.

The male raised an eyebrow as he continued to examine the hair, uncertain of just what it was but.. This was actually a really, really good dye job! Sure, the colors were horrible and not at all coordinated, but the texture was intact.. the color was vibrant, but didn't really look fake. It just sorta blended in with the hair in a goofy, but smooth manner. He could normally tell if an amateur did it or not, but it would take magic to get it this good without some kind of training or experience. He would swear up and down on it! If this woman was suffering from a cruel prank, like it sounded, he first wanted to find the soul, mangle them, and then beg them to come work with him. They did need another friend! And hand! Kinda, but it would be nice to play tea party with more than just Fleurette and the occasional Blaire. He placed a hand in the middle of her back and gently pushed her towards the chairs, “Salvageable? Trust me, sweetie, you're with me! Kade Waldroup! I can fix any disaster! Sit, sit!”
He pushed her into a chair (not harshly, of course) and turned to go get a book from one of the drawers in the tool cabinet. Considering it was a styling manual, some may be surprised to see how large and thick it was – even had small print! But, there was a lot that went into this stuff! Kade still studied it like his own personal bible. He flipped it open and glanced between her untouched hair and it as he spoke. “Soooo.. You have, like, no idea who did this? Because.. I've never heard of fairies messing with people's hair. Confetti and presents once a year, but no hair screw ups! I'm thinking you've got a bully in your midst, honey.”

Who was this guy? And what was in that thick book?! "Trust me," Carly said with a small chuckle, "My boyfriend is as dumb as a post, when it comes to this kind of stuff!" she picked a lock of hair, then let it fall back down. "And no one else was in the house, you know, besides us." she sighed, because she didn't know what to think anymore. Matthew surely didn't do it, but then, who? Fairies were a little far-fetched, but what else was there?

Ooh, a boyfriend? They already had so much in common! Kade smiled cheerily as he finally pegged her hair color. He was debating between a few, but glazed strawberry blond was the closest he could get! He shut the book with a snap and slipped it back inside it's cabinet, “Seriously? That's just so weird! It's like.. magic.” He giggled and turned back towards her, watching her or, rather, her hair for a few moments. “Just a dye job, sweetie? You want a trim or.. are those natural curls?” He asked when something hit him and went on to explain,
“I mean, not that I couldn't dye your hair with a perm, but when was your last appointment..? No, wait, I'm ahead of myself, those could be natural! Pretty hair, too, it's such a pity when it comes to those ugly blotches, but – how long have you been walking around with those? I would just die right on the spot if someone saw me with a job like that! But, don't worry, I'll get it all fixed up for you! You'll be looking pretty for your boyfriend in no time!” He turned the chair towards the mirror with another giggle and pulled out one of the pink salon capes to tie around the girl, “So, boyfriend? Mm? What's his name? Oh, on that note, what's your name, sweetie? I didn't even catch it!”

"Carly Talbot," Carly said meekly, "And my boyfriend, -wince- is Matthew Collins. He works at the stripclub, as an bartender!" she frowned, feeling something strange and pleasant; but at the same time, she was sad. She hated that he had to work so often, and with those co-workers. What kind of woman wouldn't feel a little insecurity?
Carly then looked up at Kade curiously, "Hmm? I'll give you the freedom to what you want with it, just as long as you fix it." she said sternly, her face serious. "Just... make me beautiful." she said with another frown, because she never thought she was pretty. Just... average. She always felt intimidated by other women's breasts, because hers were so small. She was almost flat-chested, which made her feel very self-conscious about them.

Just make her beautiful? “That I can do!” He chimed out, twice as giddy as usual with the idea of finally being asked that. He could do it, right? Well, he had failed that cooking experiment.. And the goddess festival.. But, he never worked with food before and the goddess festival was more about people skills! Hair was in it's own category altogether, one that he'd be in for years! “Give me one moment, I'll go get the dye ready – there's, um, like a ton of magazine in..” He leaned over her and pulled open a drawer just above the one with the book, “..here! So, feel free to look through them? Fashion, gardening, interior decorating – oh!”
He gave a wide, bubbly smile as he pulled out a bright red magazine, a white rabbit sitting on the cover, “Read this one! This one is just so perfect – Rabbits USA! It's got all this cool stuff on rabbits – look, this article's on English lops! Their ears are so cute! I have a mini-rex at home, but I think little Speckle would be adorable with one of these as his friends, am I right?” He set the magazine into her hands, already open onto the care, history, and several pictures of English lop rabbits. “Okay! Have fun reading, I'll be right back!” He left to the back room to get the dyes mixed and ready, leaving Carly alone with a stack of magazines to keep her company for the time being.

Wow, this person just bursted with energy! It honestly left her feeling a little drained, just by seeing him move and talk so much. Was she that much of a downer? Hmm, at least she'd get a break as he mixed the dyes or did... hairstylist stuff. He hadn't even allowed her to reply; not that it would be helpful, at all. But when she looked down at the bunnies; English lops? More like English mops! Those ears must have dragged all along the floor, dragging with it whatever was in its way. But, oh my god, were they adorable! She kinda wanted to tug on them, just to see if they were actually attached to the bunny.
She picked up the magazine, eyeing through it. Were there really that many types of different bunnies? She didn't even know that! So cute! But soon after, grew bored. Picking up another magazine, this time eyeing interior decoration.

Dyes mixed, hair styling stuff done, and Kade was heading back with a bowl of.. very smelly something. Well, the dye. It always reminded him of kitty litter, really, so he didn't mind it as much.. but he knew several customers would blanch at the smell alone. Maybe it was because he was used to it? He spent a good set of years dealing with the stuff, so of course he would get used to it at some point. Either way, he didn't use it just yet, only setting it aside to use it once he finished with that trim. He opened yet another drawer, the one closest to him, and chose his pick of several sharp, metallic objects. It was eerily similar to a doctor's kit or something, but they were only hair tools! Even that jagged knife! He hummed a peppy tune as he took out the simplest of the set – a small pair of finely polished silver scissors. Just a trim, after all! “Okay! How much do you want off? An inch, two?” He asked while he knelt to examine her hair again. Mm, the ends weren't that bad at all, just a few split ends here and there. She looked to take pretty good care of herself! “You don't really need much, so it's up to you, sweetie. Oh, what brand do you use..? And you never answered me! Perm or not? Because this is really good if it's a perm! I wanna meet your last stylist!”

~Another Day!~ Rune, being the cute bundle of adorable, white-haired, toddler energy that she was, had wriggled out of Kade's arms and dashed into the salon the moment he opened the door. He didn't seem to mind it, though, as his attention was on Andy. He gave the girl a bright smile, probably the dozenth that she'd seen since they spotted the salon on the walk over, and ushered her inside. The place was empty but, really, what would you expect of a salon out in the middle of nowhere? Even with a name like Sugar on it, their stream of customers were pretty spread out on the calender. Most didn't really want to get their hair or nails or anything done more than once a week and, sometimes, only once a month! With the low population.. it was pretty common to see this place empty aside from a pair of chatting hairstylists. Speaking of which – where was Fleurette?
He frowned for a moment before shooting a quick smile at Andy, “Stay right there, sweetie! I'm gonna go see if we can get some help! Why don't you sit down? Oh, there's some magazines over there – new ones! ..Kinda. Well, they're, like, a week behind..? But, it's so hard to get anything shipped out here, you know? I'm surprised you even had Teen Vogue with you.. But, isn't your daddy rich? He was the one who married the bunny – oh! Um, sorry, stay there, okay? Be right back!” He sang out with a hint of nervousness while he went to the back to look for Fleurette. Phew, he almost made her feel awkward! That wouldn't have been good for the poor cupcake, would it? Even if he knew her mother was an ex-playboy bunny. ..Or he was pretty sure that was it. Maybe it was a hooker? Oh, well, either way, he'd heard some nasty rumors about that deal.

YES! Kade has not fooled her! He did have oodles upon oodles of stuffed animals for her to play with! Fleurette looked at them all, and picked up a pig one, made some fishy faces at it, and put them down. Ooh! A lion one! She reached to pick it up, but Kade came in looking for her. "Yay~ We have a customer? Wheeee~" She tossed the lion stuffed animal with the rest of the pile, then skipped happily to the front of the store.
Fleurette took a quick look at the girl- it was Andy! She'd heard a lot about her. Mostly from Kade though, oh how he loved to gossip! "So girlie, what are we gonna do for you today?"

Pip Pip Mother (ℱ♥ℭҡℰℜ) ▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀ ✪ ✪ ✪ Philips head hurt like hell, he was very hungover from a night of drinking away his worries. But he knew the best way to get rid of a hangover headache was more alcohol! He walked past the salon and paused. His hair was getting kinda...dirty. And he had a sneaking suspicion someone, himself, might have vomited on it. His hair was his winning point with women! And his nails looked awful! They could use some cleaning up!
He opened the door of the salon, "I need someone to clean my hair! It smells of vomit." he announced very loudly. "And a manicure. My nails look like a dead baby crapped on them" Hmm...he probably could of put that more delicately... But he was a bit to drunk to give a crap.

Yoakim, followed by Ellie entered the Salon. He looked around to see if Kade was there. It was apparent that the blacksmith was angry and judging from how nervous the girl accompanying him was, it was evident that it had something to do with her. He walked right pass the front desk, into the styling area, not paying attention to the three people that were there. He was so focus on finding Kade that he didn't even notice how the pink haired man was smelling like vomit. He walked around a bit in a fast pace, not really going anywhere. He walked up to where Fleurette and Andy were, just to make sure that it wasn't Kade getting an extreme makeover or something. After an other pace around the salon, he stoped, not moving for a good five second, simply breathing and ignoring everyone around him. Everyone but Ellie, of course. "Kade Luka Waldrop! Get your ******** skinny a** here RIGHT NOW!" Screaming was much more efficient that having to look for him. Kade would probably run to him in a second now that he had heard his voice. He must've been in the back or something... he had to be there!
