The Council Chamber is attached to the Residential Wing on the topmost level of NY-107. There are currently 9 seats on the council, including the seat of the head councillor. They meet twice a week to discuss matters of the shleter and how things progress. Apprentices in various specialties with the greatest potential are gathered once a year and go before the coincil one-by-one to determine if they are worthy to be on the next council.

[To begin, I'd like everyone to roll 1d6 and 2d100. Also, please choose a text color based on the Council member most likely to choose you as an apprentice. Also, OOC chatter, such as dice roll results will be required to be surrounded by single brackets, such as this text here.]

Mike nervously waited inside the Council Chambers, waiting for something, anything, to happen. Every one of his skills, from his hacking skills to investigation of crime scenes, each skill in his repertoire was to help him join the security forces as an investigator. [Sorries. 2d100= 40+17=57 d6=3]

[Equipment updated]
Today is the day. Today, you find out what your lot in life will be. You are sitting in a waiting area outside the main council chambers. A secretary pokes out his head. "Penelope Brandt?" he asks, looking around.

Nell hastily rose from her seat and walked into the council chambers, hoping she looked a lot less nervous than she felt. Standing in front of the nine most important people, she waited for them to speak.

The nine members of the Head Council for NY-107 watched Nell as she entered the chamber. "Please be seated," came the silky voice of Ms. Fushito.

The Council seems to deliberate, making you sweat almost, as they review your file and application for apprenticeship.
[Aludra, if you'd like, while the Council looks over your file, you may make a Wits+Investigation roll. Mush, roll a "5-sided" die.]

Nell resisted the urge to fidget, instead sitting straight in her chair and looking up. She looked at each of the members of the Council, trying to read their faces and find their intent.

[That is correct. Which means you'll be rolling 4 d10s. Successes need to be 7 or higher. You need at least 2. You can re-roll 9s and 10s. Also, Aludra, if you're unsatisfied with your bonus equipment, you may take the opportunity to re-roll 2d100.]
