AludraChaos How about this dice roller? It's specifically made for the game, and all rolls are public as well. Well, the reason I chose RDI's dice roller is because there's gonna be a few minor occassions when I'll have you guys roll other than 10-sided dice

Are we going to need to roll often? I would assume that for the most part we could just use the fluff and stats as a basis for what we're rping and not worry about rolls so much.

SiegeDragomon Are we going to need to roll often? I would assume that for the most part we could just use the fluff and stats as a basis for what we're rping and not worry about rolls so much. Rolls will be for difficult skill-based checks and for combat mostly. I'll be sure to let everyone know when something they want to do requires a roll for the pertinent atribute+abilityAludraChaos So, I'm assuming this is a mortals game then. Maaaaaaybe. lol Everyone will definitely start as a human, yes. After that, its anyone's guess

How combat heavy will it be. aka should we worry about our combative abilities over our social and int based ones

The first chapter of the campaign will have very little combat. Experience will be awarded based on roleplaying (for the most part) as well as how you tackle puzzles, "normal" tasks, etc. Although, once characters leave the fallout shelter (and you will be leaving, trust me) at the end of ch.1/beginning of ch.2, expect combat to factor in much more frequently. Hopefully, everyone will gain plenty of experience, enough to beef up a few strength-based abilities.

Question. If my character has the eidetic memory merit, can it reduce the time it takes to call up a map on the PSC from three rounds to, say, one?

Wait, if the PSC makes auto-maps for my character, does that make Direction Sense and Navigation specialty redundant?

Mushkiller Question. If my character has the eidetic memory merit, can it reduce the time it takes to call up a map on the PSC from three rounds to, say, one? Can we compromise at, say, 2 rounds?AludraChaos Wait, if the PSC makes auto-maps for my character, does that make Direction Sense and Navigation specialty redundant? Not necessarily. "automaps", as you've called them are oriented based on which direction a character is facing. They're not oriented with polar direction. Once a PSC is upgraded to Tier-II, the navigation merit would become redundant, but not beforehand.
