Hey guys, its Green:
I just want ya'll to pray for my Church and my Mom.
My Church is very, very small and in dier need of growth, but they don't seem to want it. I've offered to play bass at the church, and I did for a while; then they decided to not have music practices so then I couldn't play. I've also offered to buy new songs and teach some that they had but just didn't know, but they don't have the mantality of changing. Yeah, they say they do, but they don't do anything. The preaching is good, and has reached alot of people. TH echoir, in my opinion, is whats pushing people away. The choir songs are old, not that old is bad. I just think they shoul dreach out to those who are younger too.- We've had many young couples come to the church, but they leave within the 4th day being there. The people are nice and everything, so the people arn't the problem.
What should I do?

Now, my parents- well.. my Mom, has tryed alot to change the church. She said she'd do the bulliten so they could have more time for 'change' cause they said they couldn't change due to life being complicated. WHen is life not complicated? My mom has also brought in all her CD's offering to donate them to the church if they'd yuse then. THey told her the "I don't have time" excuse. So, now my mom is depressed, sick, and is just mad all the time cause she dowsn't have a good church. You see, my mom has MS. MS and deprassion is very bad. My mom has just givin up on the church because she can't do anything else. She would just go and be the choir leader (which she has done before in another church) but she lost her voice when she was finding out she first had MS.

My mom has givin up hope and is trying to convince me to just give up, but I won't. The church needs everyone they can get. The only thing is I'm only 16, so they look at me like I'm stupid when I sugest something. They think I'm too young to know how a church runs. The thing is, my family has made other churches grow, I've always helped with getting kids excited through making up games and dance moves for songs, but there is no kjids at the church. I have to try to get the older people excited, but I don't know how. I really need prayer, I want this church to grow. And if you have any advice, it would be really helpful.

I think what bothers me the most is that the church has never grown, ever since my family started going there. We've been there almost 4 years, and nothing has happened. All I've done before is pray, but now I'm taking action. Its my church too, not just the pastors; I have just as mch responsibility (of course to a point) of the church growing as they do.
