I got it from a trade. I infected a bunch of my pokemon. I don't really see a difference in growth though...

Teh Vomiting Cupcake I got it from a trade. I infected a bunch of my pokemon. I don't really see a difference in growth though... It's beneficial for your pokemon. It increases EV growth if I remember correctly. I remember the first time I got pokerus it was on my pokemon emerald and my fave pokemon Altaria got it. I freaked and made a new game. I've had it a total of.. 3 times I believe? And in my entire pokemon existence I've found 2 shiny wild pokemon. So I guess I had a good game version or something. The chances of getting it arn't astronomical but they're not very high either. It'll disappear in a week's time (irl) and you'll have a symbol on your pokemon showing that it has had it. If you want to keep the disease to spread it to others, stick a pokemon or two with pokerus in your box and they'll stay infected till you take them out and use them for a week.

That's weird because some of my pokemon have already been cured. So maybe the lifespan of the virus has changed.

I think in the newer game that healing them at the pokemon center takes care of it. :<

Uhh no... I don't think so. Cause I healed it a few times and it still had it. It only lasted a day though.

I_L0V3_R0B1N can anyone giv me any pointers on how to beat the gym leader for blackthorn city on pokemon soul silver question question im feelin desperate im using 2 gyradose and thats still not workin If you have a strong steelix with Dragon Breath, you might beable to do good..I lost about a good 5 times before I won. And when I won, I was lucky because I healed my Steelix up, very low HP, no dragon breath move on it, and Kingdra, thankfully ran out of PP of all it's moves. Plus, I gave my Feraligator the Dragon Claw TM, which helped my out a bit. But I would definitely suggest getting your pokemon up to around 50 before you battle her, that way it will be a little easier. And you really, need ice moves to take that b***h down. I had an easier time against Lance than Clair. And I think I beat the Elite 4 on the 1st try..But even after you beat clair, you'll have a tough time against the Kimono girls...

Make sure they are strong, I used my amphrose to beat them. Then with her Dragonair's, they aren't just weak with dragon type attacks, they are also weak against Ice so if you have a well trained ice pokemon I'd use it and your gyradose to knock them out. Also make sure you have some kind of items to heal against paralyzing attacks. I beat her the first time using this. I strongly recommend it.

I had no problems with her. For Clair, I don't think to her weakness, but I think neutral. Go for the normal, fighting and flying types, as they are guaranteed at least a good hit, with a rock type or an electric type for the gyarados (the electric type is a good neutral against kingdra, too).
Otherwise, just teach your water type or surfer blizzard or ice beam, if you can get it, just to reassure your victory chances.
If you have a party where all of them are around L37 or above, it should be a total cakewalk.
