Petre felt her anxiety spike, she could see the blue circle coming through the teenager’s shirt as she staggered towards the main doors of the half completed Stark Resilient building. Her huge wall of screens and information flowing, back and forth, a sea of data, a near living entity plugged into a thousand different worlds. Pete locked a visual on the girl, the image of it struck her so deeply that her fingers paused over the flat keys. They twitched, she swore her heart twitched, her throat tightened. Veck. She thought. I remember this… from when we were children, that night… the party, Pepper tossed campaign in Papa’s face and she took us outside… and down, cement, fire, and- She tightened her cybernetic hand, catching the matte silver and bits of black. I nearly died, all of us… and Papa, Papa never forgave himself for that…

Petre forced herself to breathe in, “Lock down of the Stark Resilient building, I repeat, full lock down of Stark Resilient.” Her fingers came alive and ripped across the glass, sending her father a code red and one out to all of the Avengers.

Avengers Mansion, formerly Stark Mansion

“Code Red. Code Red. Avengers Assemble!” Jarvis’s voice came over the mansion. Anyone in it would hear this, it was the team’s first official call to duty.

At the lower levels, Petre had already sent out a message, “Sometime ago Ezekiel Stane escaped from the SHIELD Helicarrier,” She paused. “This person is extremely intelligent and should be considered grossly armed, possible armored and possibly with salvaged Stark technology from various black markets. Stane can make biological weapons, turning living tissue into explosives, even other people should be considered dangerous--- anything out of place should be approached with caution. I cannot stress enough that this must be handled with caution and efficiency. View,” Pete vanished to a recording taken only moments ago showing a young teenager girl staggering towards the front doors of Stark Resilient, an industrial building newly constructed in Chicago. A bright solid blue light with a white center began to pulse and push through her shirt, very similar to what was traditionally on the Iron Man armors. She stopped, leaned back, trembled as if something was coming out of her and her entire body was consumed by that light and the camera fizzled out. Pete came back on, “As hard as it may be, it is not possible to save these people’s lives. They need to be taken down before they blow up, the damage they will do when they destruct will cause major harm to civilians and property. I am personally working on a way, anyway, anything I can to reverse this so we can save these people but right now they need to be taken down before they kill hundreds of people. I’m watching other Stark buildings for more attacks and scanning for Stane’s bio-imprint, I’ll keep you updated but there are unregistered bodies around Stark Resilient, more people rigged to blow. Help everyone get out of the building and try to stop anymore explosions.” Her hand trembled as she reached up and ran it over her short black hair, not knowing she was so emotionally compromised by this. Ezekiel who had delivered a blow to her that was traumatic as a child, ever since this there had been safety in knowing Stane had been taken down and ever since he had escaped she had felt edgy and she knew, she knew he would strike again. He had to. He hated her father and her family with a psychotic passion that was something she feared.

Iron Man came over, coming up on the screen beside his child. “I’m coming. I’ll be at S.R. in seven minutes, everyone else get here, now.” He flicked off.

Pete rubbed the bridge of her nose, “I’ll keep the team updated as I do my part, behind the scenes.”

Robert wrung his hands in a worried way as Petre turned the live feed off, “What’s the best way to get to,” He paused. “This building that’s having trouble, I mean-” He was already bulking. “I don’t think I feel comfortable killing these people that have been made into weapons…” What right do I have? But I want to help the people working at that building to get out safety, he thought. Robert looked around him, feeling out of place and feeling there was little he could do, really. I’m not a hero, I’m just some closet mutant with healing powers and- he grit his back teeth. You can’t do this. You cannot back down now, you committed to this, how dare you try to rationalize being a coward!

He moved over and pulled up the costume that Petre had made for him, he hadn’t even put it on yet, shunning the idea of wearing such a thing. It echoed a Preacher’s costume, playing into his ability to heal and his Catholic faith, though he didn’t particularly like it nor feel it was appropriate. I am hardly deserving to wear anything reflecting such a holy man of god, a man I am not, yet here it was in his hands. He felt the fabric which the small woman had said was built to protect him from bullets and severe hot and cold, absorb and reflect electricity and help regulate his body temperature and absorb sweat. Leg guards, wrist and forearm guards, and a stylized mask that formed a backward pointed set of wings that made him look like he had angel wings for ears pulled his primarily white costume together with hints of gold and bits of black.

“Just give me a moment to change and I’ll be ready.” Robert said, looking back at those who had come down to heed the call.

“Oh, this is rich, too ******** wonderful.” Brian, clearly being very sarcastic, laughed once and loudly. “Kill ‘em all and let god sort out his people’ ain’t much for hero work. This is the s**t I was talkin’ about.” He pulls back the bolt on the AK-47 with an extended 150 round magazine he brought down with him and lets the bolt pull back into place. “This is the ugly truth of how you protect this country,” Brian yells sarcastically, “god bless the US ******** A!”

Brian isn’t wearing his usual fatigues; right now he’s wearing bulky military issue body armor and has four more magazines for the AK and ten more magazines for the M98 hooked onto the armor. He also has a steel facemask that covers his face head and neck. The facemask has sharp angles, presumably for deflecting bullets and shrapnel and has two holes for his eyes and four holes that are a quarter inch wide by the nose and mouth. The mask has a stylized skull drawn in white on the front of the gray metal and on the back is written, "DON'T FEAR THE REAPER" which is also in white. If it hadn’t been for his voice there’s little to tell that under all the metal, armor and rifles this is Brian Hall.

Brian has adjusted the strap so it pulls tightly and holds the automatic rifle in place as he hooks it onto a hook on the back of his armor. He has done the same to the M98 rifle which he unhooks and he starts zeroing the scope after bolting that rifle, too. “I’m ready to roll when the rest of you guys are,” Brian said, now completely calm and level after his outburst while he continues to adjust the scope. “I’m perfectly capable of taking down a soft target but I’m pretty sure I’m not going to be able to take Ezekiel down if he’s armored. I’ll do the dirty part and if I don’t need help how about you guys do the hero s**t.”

If someone takes the time to notice the armor which is inside of canvas and other tough cloth also has parts that covers down his arms and his entire lower abdomen and hips. The pants also have metal and ceramic plates which add to his now bulky appearance. What stands before you defy a relevant description and comes with it a sense of dread and awe at the military might of it all. For them which are particularly sensitive there is something dehumanizing about Brians appearance.

Jeff who was in the lounge area sighed.
"Wasnt expceting action so soon.",he grumbled.
He stood up and the Eye of Agamotto that he had inherited from his father glowed brightly. It was his most prized possesion and it helped to augment and amplify his powers.
Without it he wouldnt be able to fly nor teleport.
His sleek black and red costume appeard on his body, replacing the jeans and tank top he was previously wearing.
The costume was very much like his fathers in its construction, though were his was blue,Jeff's was black, and where his was yellow there was red it also had a large white X on the front to symbolize the x-men and his mother. The costume also had a hood that cover most of his face and cuased his face to become a sort of black void with two little white flames for his eyes.
He used a black magic portal to appear in the room behind Pete.

"Well boss,I'll be waiting outside for your orders. In the meantime I'll try stopping the people outside.",His voice was distorted as it always was when he used the Eye of Agamotto. He placed a hand on Pete's shoulder before turning away and walking a few paces back.
"Lets hope this goes well."

He then used another vortex to teleport outside and he hoverd above the ground as he scoped out the scene.

"Technology and magic arnt such a good mix, though magic can almost always win out.",he says over his headset.

"I'll put a spell on some of them to keep them from exploding, but it will only save us a little time.",he says as he crosses his arms and closes his eyes. A white light shoots out his the Eye of Agamotto and hits some of the rigged people, making them glow bright white.

He hoped they wouldnt have to kill these people. He could tell most of them were innocent people that were just being forced to do this. it was rather pathetic that Stane would have to send these people to do his dirty work.

Mica had been in the training room of the Avengers mansion when she received the news. Restless she was quickly in her own costume, a suit similar to her father's. However it was black and white and lacked a mask of any kind. Swiftly she made it to where the others would assemble.

“As hard as it may be, it is not possible to save these people’s lives. They need to be taken down before they blow up, the damage they will do when they destruct will cause major harm to civilians and property." A snicker left Mica's lips as she took in the news.

"Orders to kill, eh? I've got no problem with that." Scoping the area, the pink haired mercenary spotted a male with highly identifying glowing circle within his chest and another female not too far off. Pulling a hunting knife out of a sheath from around her leg, Mica quickly took both out, eerily calm about it, even going as far as whistling the Kill Bill theme.

Brian watches the little girl dash past and slacks his grip on his rifle as he watches her produce a hunting knife and kill two people. He pulls a Kabar knife, which is not too dissimilar from her knife, and glanced at it then resumed watching her while he put it back into the sheath. Inside of his helmet his jaw had gone slack, “That’s too ******** hot,” he says to no one, still not focusing on what he’s doing and instead on Mica.

He shakes his head as he comes back to reality. Command, this is Bravo Hotel requesting immediate helicopter pick-up at Mansion to redeploy at requested rendezvous. He finishes zeroing the scope and walks calmly outside. Command; be advised that Avengers have engaged limited numbers of hostiles at Mansion, nothing that won’t be handled before arrival of transport.

Brian opened the bipod on the stock of his rifle and lay down; this is quickly followed by putting two rounds down field and two more of the human bombs falling dead.

(I missed where there were any of the human bombs at the mansion but if Bell isn’t put off by it I think we can tie everything up and then move the scene to Stark Resilient)

Petre’s picture came back up, the human bombs who had been in the mansion and quickly disposed of by the new merc-with-a-mouth dissolved into static, they had been holographic projections. “That was just a warm up, I see Miss Wilson isn’t going to hesitate. I understand it’s cruel to ask this of the team for a first mission, I will, again, do everything I can to stop it before it gets to that point. Try not to kill anyone until its obvious they’re going to blow up, it will buy me some time. Out.”

Iron Man came back up, “Move it, Avengers!

Petre’s voice came up over Jeffery’s pin, something she had given him, it was like the X-Men’s “X” only an “A” for Avenger he could pin or clip wherever he wanted. “Strange, is their anyway you can use your powers to transport the rest of the team to Stark Resilient? If you can, do it.” Her tiny voice was still shaky, even smaller than it usually was. Stane. I hope Papa beats your face in with a rock a second time.

Robert came out in his costume, the first time he had worn it. It was almost entirely white with some hints of gold around his shine-high boots and elbow high gloves and a bit of black around angel-like wings that moved back and curled upward on his mask like special ears. The lower part of his face was bare and he walked out, a cape that cut off around his lower back and ended in two tails trailing down to the ground in an angelic way. “I don’t have a call sign yet, I was thinking the Holy Dove but-” The older man paused. “Just for right now.”

He felt silly, a thick belt had various tools, at least that’s what he’d been told but he hadn’t actually looked at what they were. On his chest was a large golden cross. Robert eyed Brian’s gun with a clear amount of distaste and distrust. “I’ve never seen… a weapon like that or,” He shifted to Mica and her knife. “A knife that… big, rather disconcerting…” He looked at the large screens, seeing a helicopter had touched down on the top of the building. “That’s our flight?” Robert was not, for once, wearing his contacts and his eyes were solid red which made his black pupils pop in a demonic way. Those eyes coming through his white and angelic costume seemed to take away all the softness of it, a demon's eyes in an angel's outfit.

Jeff had just felt his energy recharge as he heard Pete over the intercom.
"Can do boss.",he says.
He focuses and closses his eyes as a dark cloud envolpoes his body.
He tries to focus on the groups intercoms and lock on to there psychy.
"Get ready guys your in for a bumpy ride.",Jeff focuses on the intercom link and channels his magic through grabiing on to them all.
"Here we go.",suddenly everything went black for a minute before he and the other avengers appeared in Stark Resileint in a black mist.
"Pete you want me to get you to?",he asked as he sunk onto one knee.
Group transporting was harsher then single transporting but he quickly regained his composure...

((srry short post i gott go for now >_<))

After he pushed himself back to a standing position, Brian looked at the two smoking casings on the ground and then at Robert who was talking about being called ‘Holy Dove.’ “Yeah, okay Holy Diver; were you down too long in the midnight sea?” Brian looks up to the top of the building, “It’s an M98 rifle which was produced by the Barrett company for use by soldiers and police snipers. Standard set up is a 10 shot semi-automatic,” he looked at Robert and realized he probably didn’t care so Brian cut to why Robert didn’t recognize it, “Barrett didn’t make a lot of ‘em ‘cause they rolled out with the M99. I like this baby better ‘cause its semi-auto.”

They appeared at Stark Resilient in a cloud of black mist. Uhm, Command, this is Bravo Hotel; cancel the pickup, alternative transportation was arranged. Once the message was complete Brian walks over to Jeff and picks him up and sets him on his feet quite easily considering how large a man Jeff is compared to Brian, who remained ready to catch Jeff if he was too unsteady, “Are you still in the fight son? I need you with me on this one.” Jeff had no facial features to look at to gauge what Brian was feeling, just the two eyes staring from behind the stylized skull on the facemask and the level tone to Brians voice. “Shits going to get thick and Stane is supposed to be one mean sonovabitch. Just listen to how shaken the boss lady is over the comms.” Not that there was much of a difference between shaken Petre and Petre on a normal day but Brian picked up on the subtleties of it.

Amazing! This thing was a lot faster than he thought it was. A soft hiss could be heard in the sky--like a hybrid car, yet a bit louder-- and a few moments later Veck landed near the little group that had just materialized. His suit looked rather...daunting, a bit scarier and sharper than Tony's. Having been training with the suit in the designated place (I totally forgot, forgive me. xD I just want to get this post up. >o<), the moment Pete had let out the alert, Veck was gone, without even bothering to see who was going to be joining him and Tony. But now, there was at least a little bit of time.

There was...Mica, weird as hell, but he could already tell she really had no limitations. Brian, typical American jarhead, Jeff the magical a*****e, and Rob--

He started to chuckle at Robert's 'outfit', despite the fact that he knew Petey made it for him. "Oh, hello Father, are you here to help the dead pass on?" He asked, his voice sounded metallic through the external speakers on his helmet. "Nah, just kidding, just kidding." Catching what Brian had said, his lightened mood crashed back to earth almost instantly.
"Stane nearly killed Pepper Potts, Pete, and myself during an attack on Tony. He DID however succeed in killing everyone else that was at the party." He shook his artificial leg, even though it was covered by his armor. "He's the whole reason I have my fake leg, and Pete's full of metal. " Veck's voice lowered to a growl, "Do not take him lightly."

"What? Holograms?! Damn it, it's like a shitty video game!" Mica regrouped with the others and quickly took in whatever information Petre directly relayed to her, along with anything else her fellow Avengers said.

Sheathing her knife she laughed at Robert's comment. "Alright, alright. I'll put it away. Jeez." She pointed to him and others in the group-- ones that clearly had 'gifts'. "But remember, not all of us are like you or wizard dude. I certainly don't have any", she paused to make quotations in the air with her gloved hands, "abilities like you. I wish I did, but I don't. So I have to rely on my knowledge of well, badass-ness, in order to do my job." Mica stood akimbo, her hands on her hips for a moment and surveyed the area. "Let's stop dicking around and get the hell out of he--"

Feeling a sort of weightlessness wash over her and then suddenly her legs give out beneath her as the ground seemed to once again exist, Mica was one of the few that didn't take the transportation very well. "Whoa, that was a bit surprising." She stood and wobbled on her legs for a moment, bending over and supporting her weight on her knees. In a split second she was recovered and looked back up at the group with her odd bi-colored eyes. "So let's get this thing under control. Avengers time!"

She laughed deviously and reached towards the collar of her costume. Pulling up material, it was soon obvious she had just pulled a face mask up. It was black and had a realistic depiction of the human skeleton's bottom jaw on it, reaching up to leave only her eyes visible. Mica unsheathed one of the two blades she had strapped to her back and brandished it with glee. "I won't kill unless necessary like the boss says, so no worries boys. I won't chop you up." She winked. "Hey boss, any more specific orders? I'll do anything ya tell me to."

Celaeno had been in the lab when she recieved the message. Almost immediately, she grabbed the emergency kit designed to go around her waist as a belt and her elastic clothing that would tear away easily if she went Hulk and then extra pair that folded into the pack on the side of her hip. Anxiety was not going to control her this time, nor the Harpy. The syringe of her current serum and the syringe for the shock was tucked safely away in seperate pouches. She made sure to grab a pill that would keep her heart rate down enough so she wouldn't flip out and then become a psychotic blood-thirsty mythological she-devil.

After the message ended, she headed upstairs quickly as possible to meet up with the other Avengers. The holograms had given her a start-- and then the transportation spell made her nearly wretch and cause her body to change all over again.
She glanced at Jeff,"Don't do that again," she told him as her legs wobbled, causing her to stumble forward a little. The little nervous quirks her body had were definitely that of her father's. The copper haired woman closed her eyes a moment to regain her composure before straightening up and slowly taking in a breathe as the magic pill began to work wonders to calm her body down. She wondered if she should give her father some of them. He could have used it over the many years she had lived with him.
"Ready when any of you are," she finally said, pulling her hair back into a quick bun.

This is exciting; hopefully they take to planning.

Jeff was steady on his feet so Brian squared with the rest of the group so he could talk to them easier “Either we’re gonna see a lot of enemy or we’re gonna be bored for the next couple of hours, we need to be ready either way. I’m going to radio for a helicopter and I’ll provide overhead sniper support and spot for the living bombs as best I can, when needed or I run out of ammo for my rifle I’ll get back on the ground,” Brian looks at Veck and says, “Veck should get in the air and provide air support as well,” Brian points and Mica and Jeff, “I want you two on the ground here, ready to move to where Veck and I tell you that you’re needed and that leaves Robert and Celeano.” Brian turns to Robert, “You’re supposed to be some kind of healer, right? I want you ready to support Mica and Jeff. Do any of you have any questions?”

Brian turns to Celeano, “I don’t know what you do or where to put you, where do you think you should be?”

Jeff shook his head with a frown.
"Sorry but I'm not a pawn. And sniper support doesnt sound good.",Jeff said in his distorted voice from under his hood.
His eye of Aggamato glowed.

"I never stay in one place and espcially not on the ground. That would be utterly useless. Have celeano in my place let me be a tank I can front damage to the hellicopter. But uh I think you may want to check this out with Pete. Remember who's in charge here. I'm more then sure Petey has a plan.",he said.

Through the Eye Jeff was watching what was going on outside. The human bombs were still moving.

"She probably has us in here for a reason let's not be hasty. If need be I'll put a sheild on the armory.",he adds as an afterthought.

Jeff was not keen on this going wrong and if there was anything he knew it was that he could not be stuck on the ground the whole time being sheperd around like a sheep, it was a waste of time.
