I don't know how late this is but... It's impossible to imagine what it must have been like on that day... and especially for those who lost someone in the attack.

I was a freshman in high school when that happened. Honestly I didn't know anyone who died in that attack. yea it sucks that a lot of people lost their family members, but I think it's been over dramatisized. In my opinion if we realyl want to stick it to the asswipes who did that we need to just rebuild and move forward with our lives.
it's like when some guy(or girl) breaks your heart. You let them win if you dweel on it and makes yourself miserable because of it, but if you move on find someone better then you are the winner in the end.
but that is my 2cents i was honestly afraid to post last time i said something like this i got backhanded .

I... sort of know what you mean...
Not that 9/11 should be completely forgotten, of course. It's a part of American history, and there are people who can draw strength from that event... but looking at the commemoration, I found it a little disturbing that they read out the names of the people who died. Personally, I think that they should just leave it at a memorial (there probably already is one) because anyone who knew the dead are going to be reminded of the grief every year... a yearly suffering ritual.

well, now Ground Zero is becoming a controversy because of the whole mosque thing. What do you think of that?
