So my cousins and their respective families came to visit this past weekend, and we all went to the beach. Beach food is not healthy at all and I don't want any part of it, but it's hard to bow out of lunch with the entire family, so what could I do?
This same predicament arises every time a holiday rolls around, or anyone comes visiting from out of town.
What would you do in that sort of situation?

Stick to small portions -- don't use the holiday as an excuse to pig out. (Leftovers are not a crime!) If worse comes to worst, you could also just pack your own lunch and eat it alongside your family members. You don't have to eat exactly the same foods.
Switch up your routine around the same time, too; it might be worth experimenting to see if working harder or changing your exercise habits affects how your body burns through the calories. It's really good to change your routine now and then, anyway.

I already run my Personal Trainer program on hard mode every day XD
I did try to order something small, but even so, the best I could get was a crabcake sandwich razz
What I really need is a polite way to not eat at crummy places... sweatdrop
Maybe next time I'll plead a sick stomach and play skeeball until everyone's finished...
