What if Marco had his day as leader of the Animorphs? Or Tobias? Basically a place where you can spin any sort of scenario from any of the books and try to figure out how it could change the story.

I'll start!

I guess one of the biggest ones could be what if Marco's mother hadn't been Visser One and it had been.. say, Tobias' mother instead (or not related to the Animorphs at all)? Marco would have never lost his mother, and his father wouldn't have gone into that depressed state, where he ended up working on the defense project. That means Ax might not have been able to contact his home world. <.< Oh the possibilities that open up. Would the Animorphs have been able to access some of the human technology that they were able to? Most likely Ax would have been able to build his own Z-space transmitter eventually, but it would have taken a lot longer. o.ob

I've always wondered about that, too. If Elfangor had had time to morph and escape, how would that have changed the tide of the war? Would Tobias have become a nothlit? In a way, I don't think so, because Elfangor would have been there to support him. I see him as the one most likely to be comfortable enough to offer Elfangor a place to stay, although.. I guess that wouldn't have been very likely, given how hard it'd be to hide a big blue alien in his room. Still, maybe Elfangor could have morphed? Dunno. I think eventually though, he would have revealed himself to Tobias and gone to search for Loren. There was always that letter that the Ellimist allowed him to write. Most likely he would have realized it was a trap and thus would have told Tobias the contents of the letter himself. Maybe? <<

That would actually be a really interesting fanfic to read or write. Megamorphs 5, anyone? How the influence of having adults would have affected the growth of the team and whether or not they were successful?

That would be a fun RP. ....Later, maybe, when we get some more people.
