Doesn't Bec seem an awful lot like a lusus? I think Jade will prototype him and if he is a lusus, Andrew can save time by only prototyping him once. Anyone else agree?

I did notice this. But I'm not sure I like the idea of Bec being prototyped. Especially since it seems to me like his role in the story is far from over.
Also, can you imagine how suicidally stupid it would be? Jack Noir + all his previous prototypings + the powers of a First Guardian... it would not end well.

actually thats a good point, cuz at his current state he wouldn't be capable of taking on the bunny, but at some point during their adventure, Jack Noir is capable of destroying the Veil. So it is entirely possible that jade does prototype her kernelsprite with bec.
also yeah, he does kinda resemble a lusus. but I think the Lususes (lusuii?) were more meant to resemble doc scratch, in an offhanded way.

Think of the relationship between Jade and Bec, and compare it to the relationship between any troll and their Lusus.

Think of the relationship between Jade and Bec, and compare it to the relationship between any troll and their Lusus. Karkat tells john that where they ******** up is with with Jack Noir, the box was only the first part of operation Sovereign Slayer, the part that gets him the ring. In his current state, Jack Noir isn't powerful enough to effect the veil of another session, but due to some ******** up done by the kids, the trolls incisphere is destroyed, or at least the trolls are killed, and from the looks of the trolls timeline thing, it seems as though time is destroyed. this is all speculation, but I can't come up with a better reason for the timelines to end like they did, with all of the static lookin distortion and such. But, for short term speculation, I do think Jade is going to prototype with Bec before she enters the medium, it's the only way I can think of that will mess things up beyond how they currently are.

Happy Tragedy Jade will totally prototype it with one of her Squiddles. Or one of her adorable fruits. Squiddles would make it too much like Rose's Sprite. My guess is it'll be Grandpa "HASS the FLAME" Harley and one of his mummies. The fruit would be awesome, but I think they make an appearance in the future with the exiles.

So I just went on the Wikia and rellized the featured article is Lusus. I'm not really sure if the featured article is related to the act, but the previous one was so I'm assuming it is realted to Act 5 Act 2. But since we're not talking about the trolls anymore, it's safe to assume that they may be talking about Bec. Of course however, this may just be me over exaggerating.

I'm still kinda fuzzy on the reason as to why Jade's grandpa is alive and in the medium, but meh all will be revealed right?

Yeah, but Becquerel is just a magical dog. Maybe an Alternian would mistake him for a Lusus...
If this is purely a joke and not a misunderstanding, then hahaha, OK, Bec is totally Jade's lusus.
