Huh, I've heard FAKE before...Okinawan music is interesting.
Singing Japanese music isn't too hard, though if it's all in kanji with no furigana then that might be a problem.

Oh yeah, going to カラオケボックス is lots of fun!
Most of them have furigana now.

Not really. Sometimes they show pictures of the artist, or pictures they think go with the music (two people holding hands walking for a romantic song, people looking sad for a sad song, and nature pictures are pretty common for any song).
Sometimes if it's the theme song for an anime they have scenes from the anime, maybe they have it for movies and drama too but I haven't seen any.

Glad you liked the karaoke videos. If you like a song, you can always search for the title, artist and カラオケ in Japanese on youtube and they might have it.
