Hello all, I'm having an issue running Scarlet Weather Rhapsody with the English patch. I've stalked all over the internets for a solution but couldn't find one, and thus I turn to you all.
The problem is that my computer refuses to open th105e.exe. There are no error messages of any sort. When I click to open the game, it just won't open. As far as I can tell, everything was installed correctly - th105.exe runs correctly (and shows that its patched to version 1.06), the English patcher runs through everything and creates th105e.exe with no complaints, its just that the th105e.exe file won't open.
I tried reinstalling the game from scratch, downloading fully patched versions, and getting the zip from different sources, but no matter how I get the file, th105e.exe always refuses to open. And since there are no error messages, I have no clue what's wrong. Does anyone have any ideas?
Also, if its important, I used to have an English patched SWR game on my computer that ran fine. My computer got a virus and I had to wipe out all my files, so I had to reinstall it. Every other file I've re-downloaded so far has worked perfectly fine, including the other Touhou games. This is the only problem I've encountered so far ,0_o

I think the problem could be that you only patched to 1.06. On http://www.gensokyo.org/archives/1331#more-1331 they say that the english patch is for 1.10. If it doesn`t work try windows xp mode or start the game in japanese mode with applocal

I had the same problem too. But I been playing it without the patch for awhile unfourtonately. I wish there was a more simpler sollution like the other patches were.
