I was re-re-reading what this subforum is for (I am horrible with remembering that sort of thing), and I figured this is something that naturally should come with a forum about books.
So what is your favorite book? Or what are some of your favorite books?
I personally love: The Abhorsen Trilogy, The Bartimaeus Trilogy, The Name of the Wind, To Kill a Mockingbird, most Edward Bloor books, most Tamora Pierce books, and most Caroline B. Cooney books.
There are tons of other things I am forgetting right now, but so is life.

*Humph,* a goldfish could beat me at a memory game I'm so terrible. What surprises me more than what I forget are the things I remember. Anyways, books I like:
1. Iron Star= Brian Kelleher A book about a serial killer forced into playing assassin by... the germans, I think. He's sent to kill President Roosevelt and told not to do anything except for that while he's in America. Also about the cop who must end his killing spree.
2. Fool Moon= Jim Butcher A book about a wizard (the only working one in the phonebook), whose broke and in need of some work if he plans to eat. Lucky for him, his friend on the police force has a paranormal case she can't solve.
3. Lord of the Flies= William Golding A classic about loss of innocense and the darkness of humanity's heart (mostly). A group of young boys (ages 4-12, I believe) are stranded on an island and must fend for themselves as they wait for help that may or may not be coming.
4. Shanna= Kathleen E. Woodiwiss A hstorical romance. I don't know if I can mention more except that I sometimes hated the heroine and wished something BAD would happen to her, but her man was hot so I finished the book anyway.
5. Lover Awakened= J. R. Ward It's a para-romance between vampires. I don't know if I can say more than that about this one. I heard it as an audible book. Lots of cursing and bloodshed.
6. Dawn of the Dreadfuls= Jane Austen/??? Some guy [re]wrote this but I can't remember his name and I'm too slubborn to look. I heard this as an audible book as well and it was very fun! Begins at a funeral where the deceased begins to rise from his coffin and it dawns upon the guests that 'the dreadfuls' have returned. But who will stop them...?

Here are some of my favorites: (Not in a specific order)
1. Where the Red Fern Grows (makes me cry every time)
2. The Sight (MOST AMAZING BOOK EVAR. So awesome it's messing with my spelling/grammar.)
3. Speak (The one by Laurie Halse Anderson. Really touching and I relate to it in a lot of different ways. Just wish I had read it earlier than I did)
4. The Bartimaeus Trilogy (Excellent series, with just enough twists to really spice it up)
That's all I can think of off of the top of my head.
