The contest is now over. Congratulations to our winner, Lord someguy, and thank you for participating! Stay tuned for the official guild contest for the month of March!
Our very first monthly guild contest serves as a way to promote our guild to other Animal Crossing fans that are members of Gaia.
It will be held starting now through the entire month of February (and for the remainder of this month) -- during which points will be recorded for each participant and then added up at the end of February (on the 28th). The winner will receive their very own animated signature, courtesy of Blitzd (guild co-owner).
This signature can be just about anything (as long as it complies with the rules of Gaia). It can include your Gaia avatar, your favorite Animal Crossing character, etc. and can be customized to say and do exactly what you'd like. Requested signatures to be made by Blitzd usually sell (in Gaia MiniShops and to other Gaia members) for 4.5k gold, so that's the value of this prize (a free animated signature by Blitzd). Contest begins: January 16th, 2006 (today). Because it's our first guild contest, we're starting it early -- but from this contest on, they will always start at the beginning of the month.
Contest ends: February 28th, 2006. Points will be tallied and the contestant with the highest amount of points accumulated throughout the entire contest will be PM'ed by either Blitzd or myself, and then given the chance to request a free animated signature as their prize. See details below examples in first reply.
How to participate: Post below if you would like to be a contestant. Your name will be added to the list of contestants in the third reply, and your points will be recorded throughout the running of the contest.
How it works: Spread the word! See how many Animal Crossing fans (and Gaia members) you can invite to become a member of this guild.
Note: Please do not spam any of the forums/places on Gaia where you should not be advertising; we're only looking to promote friendly invitations to this guild.
For each person that you invite to become a member of this guild, you will be rewarded one point. If they were invited by you, it would be nice if they would specify that you invited them in their join request, so that a point can be added next to your name.
We only want actual, interested members that would like to join this guild, please! This is just a friendly way to get the word out; nothing more. Only invite members that are interested in joining!
This is our first guild contest, and serves as a way to kick off with the monthly guild contest ideas to come. In March (when this contest ends), we will be holding a contest for the designing of an official guild pattern, to be used in Animal Crossing: Wild World by members of this guild (thank you to for the suggesting of that contest). 3nodding

YAY!!! Wait...what was I doing here again?Oh Yeah! Get a free animated sig! Made by me redface OK, I know some probably want to know what they are getting themselves into...or why they would even want a free sig or animation in the first place. I dunno either, except the more we have here the better for all of us, right?!?! So here's some examples of what I can do and what you will recieve if you win:  Well the winner will get their ava drawn and put into an animation of what they want. And yes, I can add their fav AC WW char as well. As far as what happens in the animation or what is said, well...that's all up to you! That's your prize! Hopefully this contest will be worth entering. I'll do what I can to work with you with either a cool signature you can use, or an awesome flash swf for your multimedia profile section (that has sounds by the way whee ) have fun everyone! and let the CONTEST begin! in case yer wondering...yah, I also go by Slim Satan. (but he's not zombified!) whee

haha, I wanna enter...for an animated Glitter signature...or a 24 signature...or one where it's raining candy, but it's really just a super-cool helicopter flying by to drop candy on people's heads

cool, thanks! smile great to have ya...don't worry about how many people you recommend, it's more of just a fun way to start out the monthly contest thing...ya know...just tell a couple of friends, or if you see someone around Gaia that's into Animal Crossing, direct them our way wink or something wink good luck!!
