 The Gold Saucer is a towering amusement park, built on Corel's ruins and operated by Shinra. The games in the Gold Saucer do not use Gil, but GP (Gold Point) as a currency. Gold Saucer is divided up into seven attractions, most of which consist of mini-games.  Entrance Gold Saucer can only be reached via a free cable car from North Corel. The entrance fee of the park is 3,000 gil, but a lifetime pass can be bought for 30,000 gil. Station The station is the main hub of locations in the center of Gold Saucer. From here, a map can be viewed that shows the location of each square in relation to the shape of Gold Saucer.  Speed SquareA roller coaster in the Gold Saucer. It costs 10 GP to play, and has the rider controlling a moving turret which fires at a variety of objects to earn points. Prizes are awarded depending on how many points the rider accumulates throughout the Speed Run.  Battle Square The Battle Square has one of the more useful events in the entirety of the theme park. In exchange for 10 GP the receptionist will allow one person to fight in the Battle Arena. The contestant has to fight through eight consecutive battles with steadily harder groups of monsters. After each turn the contestant turns a slot and receives one of the handicaps that are on the reels (though items such as Ribbons can prevent these effects). For each fight won, the player receives BP (Battle Points). These can be exchanged for prizes at the counter.  Chocobo SquarePeople can bet on chocobo races, or can bring their own chocobos to race. There are four ranks: C, B, A, and S, and each rank has stronger opponents. Upon winning the race the better or racer wins an item, which they can take or exchange for GP.  Ghost SquareThe Gold Saucer's horror themed hotel, that costs 5 GP a night, and it has an item shop that uses Gil.  Event SquareA stage where plays and other shows are held. Sometimes there are special events where a 100th couple is roped into participating in a play.  Round SquareA gondola that tours the entire amusement park, a favorite of couples. Wonder Square   The Wonder Square houses a surprising number of secrets for such a small area, and many of the games that a visitor plays can win them prizes and GP.

...Asgard and Kaether appeared onstage in the event square, a play was already going on and the actors looked at the two people with confusion. He leaped back away from her and stood up straight. "Welcome to the Golden Saucer."...

Kaether was stunned to suddenly end up in the bright area, but soon focused on Asgard again. She was unarmed, and too drained to call her sword, so she merely stepped off the stage as well. "Nii-san...Ka-san..." she sat down hard on the floor.
Separated again.
Failure.
She hung her head, as if the life had suddenly gone out of her, looking much like a puppet with cut strings. Even her eyes seemed dulled, as she withdrew and shut down. Other warriors may have committed suicide at that point, but that would require a decision on Kaether's part...something she couldn't do...

...He walked toward Kaether and sat down beside her. "Don't worry, your "brother" is still at the crater, I'll take you back to him when this is over." Asgard examined her, she seemed destroyed, as if she had lost everything in the world, in a way she had. "I didn't want you killed by my attack and I knew that if you used that last attack you would be destroyed. All I could do after that was two teleports. We're stuck here for awhile." Asgard looked up at the people around them, they looked as if they thought Asgard and Kaether were part of the play. "It'll be night soon. Come on, let's get out of this crowd."...

Kaether stood numbly, with empty eyes, and simply followed. Her thoughts swirl and fought, though no sign of this was on the surface. Even if she had the drive to do anything, she was drained from trying to defend her brother, and hadn't gotten a chance to rest.

...Asgard led her through the crowd to the exit of the theater. He helped Kaether through the tube that launched them to the main room, down another tube to the Horror square, and into the lobby of the hotel. Asgard fished an old life pass he had since he was a kid, and paid the fee for a room. Asgard went up the mansion's stairs and up to their room and sat down in a chair. "Get some rest, I'll wake you up when its night."...

...He examined her as she stood there. Kaether looked incredibly tired. "Look, I'm sure the kid is fine. Tomorrow I'll take you back to him. Please, rest."...

After staring off into space for a while, Kaether finally sat down on one of the beds,"I failed Mother...I failed..." She curled up on the bed suddenly, as if she had been injured and shivered violently. She was in shock, worse than she had been when they cut her off from Jenova...

...He felt it was time. "Did I ever tell you just how I got Jenova cells? During Meteorfall I was outside of Midgar, planning on running away from an orphanage. Before that My parents died, I was forced to move sectors, and everyone at my new home ignored me. Like you, I felt as if no one would or could accept me as I am, I felt as is I didn't belong. When Meteorfall occurred, I was over one of the geysers of mako that erupted to stop the meteor. I fell into the depths of the planet and passed out. While I was passed out, I thought I was given a message from the planet herself, given a divine mission, to kill all of the humans. I woke up on a beach close to the now destroyed Midgar and went off on a journey to Wutai, since that was the weakest military power. On the way, I discovered my affinity towards materia, and my ability to create it. When I reached my destination, I met that rag-tag group of people we both know, and kidnapped one of the kids. During the fight "Gaea" told me to take her to the Northern Crater. There I met "Gaea", or Jenova. She then ordered me to offer a trade for the girl's mother, which confused me since I thought she wanted the girl because she wanted her to join me in my mission. When I got back, a Tonberry under her control tried to kill her, and I stopped it. Jenova tried to kill me, and the others because of this. I was alone again. I planned on killing myself right there, in that cave, but the party came back for me. Me! The guy who tried to kidnap a kid! Then I met you, and I saw in you what was in me, but you're in an even better position to connect to people. Even right now, as I'm talking, Jenova is trying to assault my mind, trying to regain control. I'm resisting, you don't have to." He smiled, "Go to sleep. I'll wake you up at night."...

Kaether seemed to stop shaking, though she didn't show any other sign that she had even heard a word that Asgard has said. She closed her eyes, but didn't uncurl, still looking like she was in agony. Moments later she relaxed as sleep took her, making her look a little more like she was cold, rather than broken.

...Asgard got up from his chair, and walked over to the dresser. He searched through it and found a complementary Elixer, he pocketed that, then grabbed some extra blankets. He covered Kaether up with a few of them, and walked back to the chair with the last. Now in his chair once again, he covered himself up with the blanket and examined the woman on the bed. *Finally, some sleep...* He just realized he hasn't slept in days. Asgard closed his eyes, and fell asleep...

Asgard woke up. He immediately looked over to the bed, she was still there. He uncovered himself, stood up, and walked over to the bed. He looked to the clock to make sure of the time, 10:00 PM. Asgard put a hand on her shoulder and shook her lightly. "Hey, wake up. There's something I want to show you."...

Kaether woke with a start, her sword forming in her hand at Asgard's throat. An eternity of a second later she allowed her sword to vanish again, though her bright eyes were still locked on his, with a less than friendly expression.
"Don't touch me."

...He smiled, he figured something like this would happen. The fact she didn't slice open his throat meant she was getting better. He put his hands in the air and stepped back. "Alright, I just want to show you something. If you'll just follow me, I swear you wont regret it." He tried to sound as cheery as possible...
