Gabriel,
Is there any specific format we should adopt for the characters and background story of our RPs? I've started mine with a basic story opening in the fantasy forum, but I wanted to know what you thought about me adding a basic, blank character sheet and more controls on the types of characters that are allowed. Basically, do you have any rules, outside of the ones already stated, for the RP, or are we allowed to make our own in the RPs that we start?
Welcome Raven, I didn't know you had joined. So, first off, Welcome to our guild!
Secondly, the beauty of rp is that you can make it however you want it to be. Rp is up to the person who opens the forum. The way you opened the initial post was detailed enough to start an rp and yet was so open that it would be easy for anyone to spawn a character from.
This being said, I think personally I would have added a little more detail. This is only because I'm completely and totally an over achiever when it comes to rp and stuff. ^^ For example, if there are truly only certain kinds of characters available to be chosen from, be sure to list those separatly from a lengthy story intro:
Quote:
It is a dark and stormy night! We are lost in the woods! And momma bear don't know where's what! And now the cat's in the cradle and the silver spoon little boy and the man in the moon! You must help find the lost relic of the Silver Cutlery and aid in the rescue of the Cat-Kan Gang's most beloved member Dotty!
Character race's available:
Sheep
Cat
and Shadow killer
Something like this would be helpful for viewers/posters who are newer to rp.
Also, be sure to carefully read the
role play guidelines for the only rules I and the other angel's enforce. Thanks so much for your post and I look forward to the story.
Thanks for the question and again welcome.
