This is the area far, far away from the main campus of Mahora. It is basically the outskirts of Downtown Mahora.
PostPosted: Sat Oct 09, 2010 12:13 pm

[[Enters from dorms.]]

Myon walked along quietly, her shoes making a soft patter on the ground. Her spectral half swayed around her, floating freely and unsuspectingly. Here in this part of Mahora hardly anyone passed through or people were winding down for the night. Most were probably eating dinner but she could care less about the daily activities of the humans around her. Her concentration remained on locating the presence that had broken the usual trend for the past year in this location of Japan. Her hands were wrapped around the strap of her katana, quiet and unnoticeable sound waves bouncing through the area and returning to her. So far, nothing had stood out from the usual which made her believe that her Ojou-sama had given her a false alarm. She had been known for playing pranks on her, so Myon decided to just walk along quietly.

Nope, she knew that her Ojou-sama didn't joke about these things. She felt an immense heat that burned a cold burn to her back and launched herself clear of a second attack. She whipped her head around to see a very tall and lanky demon hovering above the earth with small blades hovering around him. "Youmu Konpaku, Guardian of the Azure sky.... Such a pleasure to finally meet one of the Nine Guardians..." With her sword drawn, Myon didn't spend any time to return the greeting. A threat was a threat. ".....Onsokunami Konpakusen: Onikiri!!"

Rokukaken glared in the moonlight, slicing through the demon yet made not a mark on him. However he did stagger to the ground, his feet and legs unable to support him even in the air. Myon walked over and made several other slashes before dragging him off to the side in an alley. "Those who disrespect the rules suffer punishment. And those who partake in a crime that will not be forgiven will be questioned and then perish not in Hell, but in the laws of justice."

The demon let out a powerful laughter that chilled Myon to the very core. Such an odd laugh.... thought the half-phantom, her sword still at the ready in case he decided to do something that she could not evade. "Hell will fall, Heaven will fall, Middle Earth will fall, and everywhere else will fall. It's all part of their plan. And there won't be anything you can do to stop it. Mahora will sink into the chasms of ruin along with the power that they seek." Myon narrowed her eyes, already knowing very well what this demon was repeating. "You know, that's why they want you dead. You are only one of Nine, and then there will be Eight. When there are Eight, all of Intelligence will fall. Until your eradication, Youmu Konpaku, Guardian of the Azure Sky."

The demon disappeared in a flash of bright red, causing Youmu to stagger back. He had released a large explosion of fire and it would be difficult to avoid. "Onsokunami Konpakusen Ni: Onsoku Shoogai!!" A large barrier between her and the fire emerged, the sound waves resounding between the walls as Myon continued to jump around and repeat the same process to keep the fire contained. It eventually died out and left this alley burnt to a pitch black. No doubt suspicions would arise as of what had happened here and Myon didn't want to get caught. She jumped away, sailing through the sky and across the buildings.

"There's going to be more of a problem with this leak. For now I don't think it's going to happen anymore, but I'm going to have to keep a closer eye on the areas with the strongest leaks."

"Was it that serious, Youmu-chan?"

"Enough so that it may come for you to select a new Guardian..."

"..............As of the Nine and my guardian, I cannot decide whether to let you go or not....."

"What you decide Ojou-sama will be of not so much importance."

And with that Myon cut off her brain from receiving any more thoughts. Now, what to do with her singed smell....

Myon took a rest on one of the building tops, just realizing how far she was from the campus. For a while she just stared up and gazed in the moon until she felt a tap on her shoulder. Both her and the real Myon looked back before a surprised look crossed her face. It would be a long night it would seem.

By the time Myon had finished her business, dawn was beginning to break and she was in an exhausted state. She had to get back to the dormitories to prepare for school and a quick bath if she could catch one. Blame time and how fast it moved. Grabbing her black case, she ran along the buildings of the room, gathering and compressing the sound wave as much as she could for a rapid pressurized launch directly to her dorm. Hopefully Izumi-san would still be sleeping and Myon's strange entrance wouldn't wake her up.

How much longer should I scream?
How many more tears should I shed?
Enough already, I can't run anymore
The world I once dreamed of is lost

Rin made it to a small building outside of campus. Chained to a post was her ride. She reached into her pocket and took out her key for the motorcycle. No one was really around. She wiped some dirt off the motorcycle and looked at it. She still thought about her abrupt exit. It was rude of her, she knew. It didn't help her cold image. it was still raining a bit but she mounted the motorcycle and revved it up, peeling off the curb and into the streets towards some other place. Maybe she could find a place to grab something to eat. Someplace quiet.

All the courage within me will light a flame
I won't run anymore
You aren't alone, I don't mind if you cry aloud
Just you watch, This is where my story begins

Rin slowed down outside of the school gates near a small wharehouse. It looked abandoned, but this was where she chained it up. She slowed the bike to a stop, slowing bringing into teh storage area. Once the bike was switched off, she lowered the kick stand and carefully stepped off. She helped Shou off as well and unfastened the helmet. "See? Safe." She told her, nodding. She put the helmet back into the compartment and took her school bag out. She picked up the locks she used to make sure the motocycle wasn't stolen and looked at Shou. "Are you all right?" She asked, making sure Shou was okay. First time she let Beatrix or Emily ride with her they were pretty shaken up. Emily was anyway. Bea was too, she could tell, but didn't like to show it. Funny, that flying high in the air on brooms was more comfortable than this. But, then again, maybe that made sense.

Shou Qou The greatest Les-Yay member of all time.

Shou nodded, getting off the bike shakily. "Thanks for the helmet-yo." She said, handing Rin back the helmet. It was thrilling, but scary. Also, it made her feel a tad sick, so she wouldn't be doing that any time soon. She smiled at Rin. "Well, it was nice of you to bring me a ride." She extended her hand. "Thank you Rin-San." She told her. "Where do we go next?" She asked, as if she was expecting that Rin would want to continue to be in her presence. She was a bit green, and turned around, running to find the nearest trashcan. A few minutes later, she had gotten rid of the last of the particles in her mouth. "Sorry about that Rin-San. Guess I'll just stick to running"

Rin nodded. Seemed the ride upset Shou's stomach, as the girl rushed off, likely to throw up...Rin shook her head. "It's fine. It's happened before." She told her. Wasn't a lie. Amusing memory. Actually it was a genuine memory, when Beatrix tried to hide the fact she was uneasy about the ride, she ended up not able to hide it when she ended up getting sick. Rin was a bit surprised, but they both actually laughed about it. Rin walked out of the warehouse and shut it, locking the door. She thought about it. Shou spoke like she was used to people wanting to stick around. How odd. She kind of wondered how many underclassmen actually acted that way towards the older girl. Despite the age difference, in Rin's mind there wasn't much of an importance other than Shou being a year more educated.
"I'm not sure. I was just going to go to my club ahead of time..." She had no interest in finding the cafeteria for lunch. That was why she went to Starbooks, to find a less crowded place to get lunch, as small as it was. Besides, she didn't want even more students staring at her lack of a uniform, or much less lack of skin covering clothing. Rin rubbed her forehead where that girl's shoe had come into contact with her before those students ran off. It hurt a little bit, but it looked like it only bled a little bit for a minute or two. Now it seemed to be fine. It would heal soon anyway. Her angel blood didn't let small wounds like that stay for long. The only thing it could heal was larger wounds. Her hand touched her scars again by habit. Bringing herself back to reality, she adjusted the sword on her back. "Perhaps you should rest in the nurse's office for a moment or go ahead to lunch?" She suggested, not wanting to be the reason why someone got ill.

Shou shook her head. "No, no. I'll be fine-yo." She answered Rin. Smiling, she got up. "You go off to your club. I promise I'll buy lunch tomorrow." She said, giving Rin a small hug then running off. She had to be at the track field anyway. "See you later Rin-San-yo!" She cried out, still running. Her stomach had settled down, and she was feeling good, running once more. This was what she was made to do.

Rin nodded, seeing Shou was okay then. She felt concern for some reason. Family thing again? Maybe. Shou briefly hugged her then ran off, saying goodbye. Rin lifted a hand in response as the girl ran off. She sighed and removed the brace off her wrist and put it away in her bag after pocketing her keys. She looked around, and pulled out a campus map. She wondered if kendo was even meeting today...they should have been. But it sounded like a more familiar club she was okay with going to for now. Other than art. She looked at the location adn then put the map away before fixing her jacket and heading off.

The outskirts were dead at night, no sound ringing through the air, no visible life slithering in the distance, only a thick haze that hovered through the outskirts. The night was serene, the moon shining high above caused the haze that lingered in the outskirts to glisten a dim blue that somewhat illuminated the night air. In the distance of the haze, a silhouette of a tall man could be seen coming into focus more and more, his features slowly gaining more detail as he approached Mahora's boundaries. An old duster coat with tattered tails flailing behind it approached Mahora grounds.

Dimitri looked up from the ground he was following, and stared into the darkness, towards the direction that Mahora lied. In his native Russian, he spoke to himself quietly, "So this is the famous Mahora Academy of Japan. I have heard many things of the scientists that reside within it's walls." As he stared, he felt the binds of fatigue come over him. "It did take some time to get here, I better rest up for now. That 16 hour hike up here was great exercise for what I'm missing back home." He continued. He placed down his luggage, a duffel bag from World War 2, one that belonged to his biological father's father, Inside, a tent for outings, and his change of clothing. He quickly set up camp, almost comical when seen from a spectator's point of view. When he finished, Dimitri sat down at his camp, looking back into the darkness that lead towards Mahora.

"I should take caution. I sense beings that house strengths not seen often around the world... It's strange that so many have gathered around here..." Dimitri shrugged off the feeling and sat for a few more minutes. When he finally got tired, he crawled into his tent and dozed off for the rest of the night.
PostPosted: Wed Mar 16, 2011 4:36 pm

Dimitri slept till six, when the sun was still rising in the distance. He stirred a bit in his tent, shuddering from a dream he was having. A vision of his father, his real father, struck down in the act of protecting those he cared for. Dimitri's eyes shot open, he sat up in a cold sweat breathing heavily. "That dream again..." He muttered to himself, wiping the sweat from his forehead.

He got up and out of his tent looking to the rising sun. He scratched the back of his head and stretched as he watched the sky light up slowly, a tear from his yawns rolling down his cheek. He shook off the night time blues and began to pack up, disassembling the tent and placing it into his duffel bag. He lifted the bag onto his shoulder and continued to shrug off the strain he felt from his sleep. "Time to go..." Dimitri stood up straight and walked into Mahora's boarders, ready for any confrontation.

"Down we go..." Cirus swoops low before swinging the front end up and engaging the gears to return the bike to land-mode. It looks just like the Tron bike, and even has lights in the dual axles, between wheels shaped just right so it has that same lighting effect. The blue one, of course. At night, to looks great, with all the lights as it zooms down the street or through the sky. "Beautiful." He smiles to himself, drawing Sacred Mirrior he just had blessed at the Konoe Temple in Kyoto from his pocket, to look at it. "This aught to help her, but... I wonder how long it'll work? If it's a case of possession... Hm." He shrugs, pocketing it again. "Now, what's all this about a library -island-?" He smiles to himself and starts toward said location.

[Cirus heads off to Library Island.]

Solice stopped and turned. Zazie was still behind him, and no signs of following trouble. He sighed. He had been carrying his hat this whole time. He brushed the dirt off teh top of it and scratched his head. "That attack...well poorly timed." He muttered. He looked at Zazie. "You're still all right?" He asked, making sure. By now the side of his head had stopped bleeding, he really didn't pay the injury any mind, as much as any of teh scuffs and bruises from that hit he took.

A storm was coming. A man, who was not supposed to arrive for a few weeks, impatient and ready to start moving. Plans were in motion, and a war ready to be fought. And there stood the man. He was far out of sight, but he still had his destination in mind. To pay a certain demon a hello. Evil may tremble before him, yet he still had his limits. Limits he was sure to break very soon. By moving to an enemy and allies lair. Smirking the man who had never been seen before, or seen by anyone here (with the exception of maybe one or two) disappeared, leaving behind a rose that smelled sweet, and had the thorns removed.
