The infamous World Tree, it has been here for 22 years, and some say that if you confess your love when it's glowing, that the person you confess to will accept your love. Some say magical things happen here.
The World Tree is located in the middle of the Mahora Academy campus.

The World Tree. One of the world's greatest mysteries, and the largest tree on record in the entire world. Even the daunting red wood trees of Northern California paled in comparison to this monstrous effigy of nature. Mikhail never got used to it - it bugged him that something so large existed, yet was never questioned by the general public.
Hopping onto one of the low walls that made up the barriers of the plaza, Mikhail laid back, waiting for whenever Ku decided to show up.

 Ow my head. Alex said as he woke up Where am I? He looked around and saw a Gigantic tree towering over him. he looked around a little more and saw two things laying on the ground next to him a sword and a pair of guns. he looked at the sword the design looked just like a sword he saw in a book he read. when he picked it up the name Red queen came to mind. dissapeared from his hand and reappeared on his back. he picked up the two guns and the name Arcus Diabolus Bolverk came to mind. I'll just call you Arcus and you Bolverk. they dissapeared as well but didn't reappear. Suddenly Alex looked at his arm as it started glowing a blood red color. When the glowing died down his arm had completely changed it looked red and demonic and turned back to his normal arm. Alex looked around and saw buildings in the distance. he decided to go there for answers. [Exits to Academy Grounds]

Raine walked around the tree, looking up at it. Frowning, she sighed. Well...it was quiet. The students would be in class or heading there. That was good. She put her hands in her pockets and leaned against teh tree, looking at the main building of the school with no interest in her face at all.

Meleos was slinking around again, invisible as usual. Though, once he saw Raine he grinned, and approached her, only revealing himself once he was close enough, which was about maybe 5 inches away from her... stalker...
"I've got a little presssssent for you..." he whispered to her, before suddenly vanishing from sight again.
"My masssssster'sssss made hissssss return, sssssso jusssssst sit tight..."

Raine watched Meleos until he disappeared. That demon gave her the creeps, but oh well. So, this William guy was finally back? Huh. She did agree she would only consider helping a person she would have to see in person first. After all, all those demon fights in the past year and she saw no trace of William in the open. She crossed her arms and waited, her ears twitching underneath ehr cap.

 (From Dorm 2) "Raine-dono!" Kaede exclaimed as she past by. "How are you doing this morning, de gozaru?" She asked, scratching her head. She wondered what the girl was doing out so early. Iincho-dono would say it was because she was doing something illegal, like robbing something or buying drugs. Kaede wasn't one to assume though. She would take into consideration Raine's own words. It was the best thing for both sides. If Raine did something suspicious, then she would have to keep an eye on her. However, all the information that Kaede collected suggested otherwise. Sure, Raine and Ayaka disliked each other, but there was no need to suggest that either were 'evil' people. Raine probably just wasn't integrated, and wanted to be left alone. Kaede would oblige. As long as Raine didn't hurt anyone. Otherwise, she had a responsibility to her friends and this school, not to mention her clan, to force Raine down. She needed to see on what level Raine was on.
However, for now, she dismissed this as becoming to accustomed to Ayaka's talking. Maybe rooming with Iincho wasn't so great, Kaede decided. However, it wasn't terrible, and it could be worse. Much worse.

Soon enough William approached in the distance, staying in his fake human form and restraining himself from usinig his powers to make sure noone would suspect anything. He seemed to be looking for someone, who was in fact Raine. Soon enough he came up to Kaede and Raine. Just from being near Raine he could sense something demonic, and figured she was the one he needed to speak with.

Raine looked at Kaede, who didn't seem to notice Meleos leaving, which was good. She wasn't sure about Kaede's knowledge of demons and magic, but it was never something to guess. She nodded to Kaede. "I'm...fine. Just thinking alone for a while." She told Kaede. She showed no hint of rudeness to her. Usually she spoke tonelessly unless they said osmething to Raine that required rudeness back. Kaede seemed more tolerable that Ayaka. She picked up on another distantly familiar sense, that same one she got at teh big fight by this tree last year, and several times before when Ian and hte rest of his "Scooby gang" were trying to stop William. She looke at the human boy who approached. The source. She looked at him, still showing lack of interest naturally. "I'm also waiting to talk to someone...which I think has arrived." She said, still talking to Kaede though not looking at her. Kaede would hopefully just pick up on the fact that Raine wanted to be alone at this point to speak to this guy. Kestrel growled inside Raine, interested in this disguised and obviously restrained demonic presence near Raine.

Kaede nodded. "Right. Hope you have a fun conversation, de gozaru." She said. She had felt the killing intent from somewhere. However, she could tell that Raine didn't want her there. She hoped that Raine knew what she was doing. Because, if Raine tried to take that on, she would lose. However, Raine might just be waiting to talk to someone. She believed that Raine wouldn't be lying too much. She nodded. "Well, talk to you later, de gozaru." She told Raine, continuing her walk to the other side of the world tree, and continuing to walk. Her face dropped its customary smile, but she continued to walk. She didn't want to stir trouble. She, instead, watched the birds. "Hey there little guys." She spoke to the birds, and the ants. She was weird like that. Though.... she did think a bear who was trying to kill her was cute. It was just the way she was. A bird landed on her shoulder. She started to talk to it as she walked. The bird didn't leave, instead seemed to listen.

William nodded to Raine once Kaede left, " I take it you're the one my new recruits have told me about." He started. Just being this close now, he could sense much more demonic power, it almost got him as little excited. In only seconds he started to crak one of is signature sinister grins. "Just hold still for a second..." he then finished, placing one hand on her forehead, and the other on her chest, ignoring the fact she was female. Why he was flat out doing this out of the blue, not many people would know. He was actually going to examine her entire being using his own powers. Being a demon controller, he'd just determine what he think she'd be best suited for. It only took a few seconds, since it didn't take long for him to figure out what she was...
He stepped back and finished the little 'reading' and instsantly his grin vanished. "You're a unique one, aren't you?" he stated, a bit of the statement pertaining to Kestrel.

Raine nodded to Kaede, then crossed her arms as William finalyl spoke up. "I'm no recruit. Just...willing to repay someone who actually appreciates my help." She told him quietly, looking at him. The smile was creepy, but she remained still when he, for some reason, placed his hands on her forehead and chest. Kestrel snapped at the invading examination from William, his magic stirring strongly in her in reaction and protection of the vessel he had to keep alive until he could break out. Best watch it boy... He growled in her mind, irritated. Raine frowned and William stepped back. "...if that's what you want to call it." She said in toneless response.

"I like it..." William answered, grinning once again. "That one inside you's pretty fiesty too...though I do have some curiosity that's going to get the best of me sooner or later." he then added. "Anyways, I'd like to to do a couple of things for me."

Raine raised a brow. It would get the best of him and his demon cohorts if they weren't careful. Willing to help them, she was still careful. She was still on her own side. Until she was a bit more sure. "Fine...what?" She said simply. Better than doing nothing while skipping class anyway.

"I want you to be my eyes on the inside. Meleos can't gather much information than through observation, so I need you gain the trust of Ian and his friends. I want to know what makes them tick. I only know so much, and can't exactly make plans that are 100% effective." William explained. He basically wanted Raine to act as his spy. Gain the trust of Ian and his comrades, and report to him regularly. That way, he'd be able to do something big enough to where not even the combined effrot of all of them can stop him. "Also. I belive they have something of mine... it's a special book. I want it back, for I'll be needing it for a certain special purpose."
