I NEED TO TAME THE BEAST WITHIN,
THIS BOILING RAGE BENEATH MY SKIN,
SUPPRESS THIS URGE TO DO THIS SIN,
THE TREAD THAT HOLDS IS WEARING THIN,

GIVE ME THE STRENGTH TO DO NO WRONG,
I'M TRYING BUT THE PULL IS STRONG,
THIS ANGER HAUNTS ME FOR SO LONG,
I KNOW NOT FROM WHERE IT HAS SPRONG,

COME PICK ME UP FROM WHERE I FELL,
EACH MOMENT IS A LIVING HELL,
SO TAKE MY HAND AND GUIDE ME WELL,
RELEASE ME FROM THIS TORTURED CELL.
