Lead Stallion
The highest ranked stallion in the herd. He is the leader of the herd and controls who comes into the herd and who is exiled. It's his job to defend the herd. He also gets first pick at mares in mating season.

Lead Mare
The highest ranked mare in the herd. She is second in command of the herd. It's her job to find new places for the herd to live. She normally always carries a foal during mating season.

Healer
The horse that is responsible for healing the herd in times of crisis. The one horse in the herd that can't mate during mating season. A very well respected horse in the herd.

Healer's Trainee
The horse learning to be a healer. Will become healer when the original healer passes away.

Mares
The rest of the mares in the herd.

Stallions
The rest of the stallions in the herd

Foals
The colts and fillies under three years of age.

Note:: Stallions may have more then one mate. For example, the Lead Stallion could mate with two mares in one mating season. Then, the next season he could mate with all new mares. There are no set mates.
