Iwagakure is a place with many secrets and the village is very protective of those secrets. Many of the villagers don't even know all the secrets. It is a very small village after all and the women that reside are rather sensitive about their 'authority' and such. But besides that, in order to protect these secrets, we ask that you sign in at the village gates if you are not a native of the village so that we can be assured that you are not a spy of some sort.
