The members of Takigakure all know that he really isn't full of himself at all but, a stranger might assume so. His hair is long, and he prefers to keep it tied and his sense of style would be anything comfortable really. Loose, functional and comfortable. But of course, he likes to look presentable, I'll bet his sleepwear is silk.DREAMERS☇★ my mommy says i'm special ↩ The reason his right eye is red might be considered one of those physical traits he's gotten from the Nanabi no Kabutomushi. Fuu, the previous jinchuuriki had red eyes too so, that's probably it. It is rather demonic looking (considering it IS a demon inside him) and occasionally he hides it to avoid frightening people. He is not embarassed by it in any way but, his eye does make it more difficult to disguise his emotions... Especially irritation. Nanabi can get a little emotional.fighting⊱⊱ ✩✩✩ ↴ || 志高く GONNA ⇗ AIM ⇙ H IGHDREAMERS☇★ -- // Serious & Protective;; He's not the type to really, understand sarcasm or jokes. Maybe he's even a little slow that way. He doesn't get offended easily though but, it's quite often he gets confused over the chuckling of the elders when he walks by. And when he asks what they're laughing about, he'll take their sarcastic replies seriously... but feel odd about it. Even at twenty-seven years old he's still having a hard time with it. He does indeed love every single member of the village and will protect all of them until he nolonger can.
Awkward & Somewhat Misunderstood;; So, he's a little bit socially... retarded. He isn't simple-minded, just.. a little slow in the 'social department'. He enjoys the company of people but he doesn't quite have the ability to laugh as freely as some or place in a joke at the appropriate time. Careful... he has some serious issues.
Thoughtful & Honest;; But of course, his honesty might become bluntness, which is honesty in his opinion, but it might be misinterpreted as rude. He is rather careful about what he says and does but, some things are just unavoidable and must be said. If he doesn't say it, who will?
Even if he is a little bit quirky and socially retarded, he is loved by the majority of the village members. They tease him and joke, but it's an affection that might be similar to when you see a baby fall flat on his face. I KNOW you think it's cute. People have gotten used to his bluntness and cluelessness and some even love it or find it amusing. But, above it all, even after a small war, the village is happy and all love their new leader.fighting⊱⊱ ✩✩✩ ↴ || 高みを目指して A I M !! FOR THE TOP ↗↗↗DREAMERS☇★ -- // For most villages, it is tradition that the tailed beast be passed onto a family member of the Kage. Of course though, it was a surprise to all that Takigakure, a village not of the main five elements was one of the villages to receive a tailed beast. It was the only village besides the five main ones to receive a beast. And, when it had, there had been no kage. It took many, hundreds of years before a true 'kage' was created. The year that the Akatsuki and Madara had been defeated, the Nanabi no Kabutomushi was returned to Takigakure, a baby boy chosen to be it's container. That baby boy was Arata and he was hardly even a toddler at the time. He was not even related to the village's current leader Shibuki but his parents were proud to have their son as the jinchuuriki. It was an honour to them. Of course, the boy grew up with Shibuki keeping a careful eye on him.
Just recently, about a year ago, it was known around the lands that there were still some remaining Hero water from the last time Shibuki had used it. Even if not a full dosage, it would have been enough to multiply the user's chakra by at least ten-fold and this of course, started a small war between the village of Takigakure and Otogakure, the land in between being their battle ground. Takigakure was surrounded by Oto-nin because the Otokage had created lairs in Kusa and Ame and if it hadn't been for Konoha and Iwa, at the time both neutrally aligned villages, the village might just have been destroyed completely. But of course, in the end Shibuki used that last amount of Hero Water and fought with his life, literally, and Arata fought with the skills and chakra that surpassed even Shibuki while using the Hero water. And, without Konoha and Iwagakure, Takigakure fought off this two fronted battle, and won. The Otokage retreated and disappeared. There were many that died at the end it all, and Arata's own father was one of those many. But, above all of those, the Hero water finally caught up to their village's leader. And through some dramatic scene that will probably be posted as a flashback sometime in the future... Arata was named leader... and officially the first 'Takikage', seeing he was at the level of one. Most members of the Gaidoku clan have immunities to most poisons, what is strange, however, is that Tsuta's kekkei genkei mutated within the boy, giving him a strange new side kekkei genkei. Tsuta's chakra itself is like a poisonous toxin. It's unfortunate to be touched by Tsuate when he is gathering chakra to his hands, for, depending on how much chakra he gathers, you will either end up with an unseen, fast acting paralysis poison (ranging from low grade to high grade) or something akin to this. His chakra has been known to give others hallucinations, paralyze them, or even leave burn marks on their skin from where he's touched them. It's a strange new kekkei genkei and, seeing as Tsuta is the only one with it so far, he's been working hard on mastering it. He has a very delicate physique and, as a young child, Tsuta was a very breakable boy. He's still rather dainty but, it takes a bit more then a tussle to break Tsuta's bones now. His training in taijutsu is said to be the reason for this. A short thing, Tsuta still has a few years to grow though, it'd doubtful if he'll really grow anymore. His skin is pale and creamy and, it's easily noticed that Tsuta takes delicate care of his skin and hair. Actually, Tsuta takes delicate care of all of his hygiene. That's a habit his mother taught him early on (Take good care of yourself, Tsuta. Don't look like a rat.) and, it's also a habit that's stuck to him after all these years. The Toubetsu Jounin also bears a striking resemblance to his mother, his hair is a pale green color, a lighter tone then Kairai's hair, and, his eyes are a milky-pink. His hair is what seems to get Tsuta mistaken for a girl the most (that and his pastel colored wardrobe), since he has a fairly feminine style. The odd markings beneath his left eye don't help either, though.DREAMERS☇★ my mommy says i'm special ↩ Tsuta is not in complete control of his kekkei genkei, when he's angry and his chakra flares, he can't exactly control the poisonous toxins that seep out.fighting⊱⊱ ✩✩✩ ↴ || 志高く GONNA ⇗ AIM ⇙ H IGHDREAMERS☇★ -- // Tsuta has always been a very distant and cold boy. He didn't have very many friends growing up, save his mother, and always was pushed to the side. No one wanted to play with the boy that could paralyze them, after all. Because of this Tsuta grew up to be a very distant teen. He doesn't enjoy human contact very much, and prefers working on his own. He's very independent, often distancing himself from others. He can also be considered a bit “socially awkward”, not really understanding how to act properly in social situations. Of course, on the other side of the spectrum, he is also very violent. Tsuta has an anger problem, always has. He gets angry easily, flares up, and often spats off violent words when in a frenzy. This is partially why he avoids human contact, he is too violent for most to endure.
Tsuta is also rather power hungry, he wants to be the best, do the best, and be able to defeat everyone and anyone. Want want want. He wants power, would do anything for it.
This want for power, however, stems from one thing, the want to be able to protect his mother. Tsuta is a huge momma's boy and, more often the not, Kairai is the only one able to get a human act out of her son. He'd do anything for his Momma, really. fighting⊱⊱ ✩✩✩ ↴ || 高みを目指して A I M !! FOR THE TOP ↗↗↗DREAMERS☇★ -- // Born several years ago to a chuunin of Takigakure, Gaidoku, Tsuta started off in this world in the normal way. His mother, Kairai, was the happy heir of the Gaidoku clan (though, to call them a Clan would be silly. They had no real kekkei genkei, at the time.) and, had always been a bit of a flighty girl. She was known to drift between “loves”, always declaring that she loved a certain shinobi with all of her heart. Her clan (and parents) had always laughed it off, saying their darling heir was just young and it was merely a phase. It would pass, with time. Of course, in due time, this “phase” did pass but, not before the Gaidoku clan was left with little Tsuta. Kairai objection of affection during the week of his conception? Why, a revered ANBU, of course. The Gaidoku clan, upon hearing of Kairai's pregnancy, had been appalled (and ashamed), they moved quickly to repair their tarnished reputation, dropping Kairai from heir and instead giving the heir position to her younger (and male) cousin.
Kairai, though upset, had taken it in stride. She was sure she and her “love”, Kin, could take care of a child together perfectly! After all, she was already a chuunin and he was an ANBU so, it would be fine, right? Yeah- Right. Too bad Kin didn't really want anything to do with a kid at the moment.
Well, oh well, Kairai didn't care. She'd raise the baby by herself, then! So, she bought an apartment, got a part time job at a bakery (because she couldn't be a kunoichi while pregnant, duh) and when the time came, gave birth to a healthy little boy. A little boy she named Tsuta and, the two were happy. Kairai raised Tsuta diligently and by herself, enrolling him into the Academy at the normal age.
And, it was upon his enrollment to the academy that people who had never had an interest in Tsuta suddenly started noticing him. (His father and his mother's clan, namely.) For you see, when Tsuta channeled his chakra for the first time, everyone noticed something strange about the boy's chakra. And then came the odd, toxins and poisons. It was decided, after Tsuta used his chakra, that he had a strange mutation, a new kekkei genkei, they said.
And then, suddenly, all the adults were interested in little Tsuta.
But, the children were not.
And Kairai, Tsuta's dear mother, wouldn't let the adults talk or mess with Tsuta, resulting in the boy growing up rather distant from others and sheltered.
Not that he cared, much, as long as he had his Momma, after all.
Years later, after Tsuta graduated from the academy and was placed on a genin team (one he hated), the young lad's mother was sent away on a mission. Having a child didn't mean she wasn't a kunoichi, after all. Anyway, Kairai was sent away on a mission and, her son, Tsuta, waited diligently for her return.
He waited.
And waited.
And, eventually, Kairai returned but, she returned in critical condition and so, as the woman recovered (slowly), Tsuta decided he was going to protect her next time, which, meant he'd have to be strong.
