Chuusei had learned from his long-time mentor, Kori Dei. However, he never acted on it. He only became stronger, mastered his mask, and made his way along to the spot of a Captain. He now is conflicted as to what he wants to do with his life. He feels somehow empty without open arms welcoming his hollow powers, his switched-color robes, or his mysterious movements. He seemed to have some connection to The Psyche, and that caused people to target him, and to chase him. They wanted to solve to mystery that girl presented. He was alone in one of the halls of Sereitei. However, that would soon end, as he was to be confronted by a fellow Captain, and The Psyche, in person...

*Surprised, despite his earlier feeling, he looked up only to see Riku, a Lieutenant. He sighed knowing it was a familiar face, for once. He pushed a smile although he felt not the will to.*

*He acted as if nothing had been bothering him, although it was most-likely obvious...*

Riku continued to speak in a hushed tone. "It's obvious you feel it, captain. And that false expression you wear means nothing to me." He said, closing his eyes. If Riku could feel a presence, then certainly a captain could. "It's the Phyche, isn't it?" He asked, remember the havoc the creature had caused.

*He couldn't identify the unique pressure at first, but there is was. A mere Lieutenant had a better ability to interpret reiatsu than he did. Something was happening to Juan, but he could not quite get it yet.*
"Yes, it is... She's planning something for me. I've been confronted by her on many occasions. The only difference is, I'm being told I will be part of her plans... And Riku, and Shinke..."
*He pointed towards the place where Shinke was hidden, listening in on his conversation.*
"...Shinke, you two will be the messengers."
*He drew his zanpaku-to, formed his mask, and fired a bala from each hand towards each of them.*
"Because I ACCEPT!"

Riku felt the spike in reitsu and immediately retreated back , not bothering to open his eyes. He drew his zanpaku-to, bringing the blade in front of his chest as he spoke directly to the blade, "Whisper, Suto-mu Fungeki," He continued to jump back and around, mapping the buildings by their reitsu, while also trying to get a read on Juan and Shinke while the needles began appearing around the shinigami.

The noise being made outside her buildings wasn't something she could ignore. With captains jackets donned and sword pulled from it's sheath she stepped out from her room and looked for the source of the noise. It wasn't hard to find, and it took even less time to see who was causing it. Of course she had only a moment to shield her eye from flying debris, holding up the arm holding her sword then whipping the blade down quickly after it passed. Shaking her head at Juan she jumped from where she stood and landed next to him.
"What have you done now?"
She asked simply, holding out her blade defensively until she got an answer.

*He smiled at his former Captain. Now that he was at her level, she would make the perfect example for his movement towards his goals. He sheathed his blade, but kept his mask on. The eye turned green, allowing him to use his Perceptibility. He traced Shinke's and Riku's next moves, and calculated that he had a few moments to confront her before he would have to react to the boys.*
(With Perceptibilty, I know your next two posts of actions, so I should be able to counter, and even injure you to an extent if you attack. Just remember that. Perhaps make your next actions not too direct.)
"Captain Mio, good to see you out of your barracks for once. I was just headed that way. You see, I was going to ask your advice, but then it hit me... I need to make the decision for myself. And I choose to do something to take out The Psyche. But the only way to do that, is to take some casualties in Soul Society."

Mio listened to the man, looking into the eyes, past his mask as if to try and find something out. Still holding her blade she turned to face him, lowering the point of her weapon to the ground. Having had to draw her weapon, she would not be so willing to put it away until the situation was at a close.
"Although I like that you made your own decision, I'm afraid I don't quite understand what your saying."
She said, understanding the words naturally, but the meaning escaped her. Forcing a smile she tilted her head as if in thought. Gripping her sword she waited to see what would happen.

Riku stopped jumping on the barracks behind Captain Mio. He had a very clear map of the reitsu in his head. "Captain, we have to suppress him. I'll initiate ranged combat and you attack." Riku said as he pointed his weapon at Juan, causing the 100 needles that have been zipping around aimlessly to sharpen their paths and fly in a straight path to Juan, aimed to hit a 5 meter radius around him.

*With a grin, he raised his hand. Needles that matched Riku's appeared. They canceled out the needles Riku had fired.*
"Why, I have an ability like that, my friend."
*He pushed Mio to one side, unsheathing his blade once again. 'Muerto...' His blade became a scythe. He swung it like a pendulum.*
"I don't recommend you try anything more. I need to speak with my fellow captain."
*Now that his attention could be brought back to Mio, he continued their conversation.*
"Captain, I'm saying that you can only fight something of that level of power by following its rules. You must follow them so well, you appear to control her world. I'm going to need to do some not-so-honorable things to bring the fight to her. Sadly, if you don't stand down, then you'll be on that list of things..."
*He stopped swinging the scythe by it's chain, grasping it tightly, prepared to fight if she refuses.*

The needles retreated, seeing their efforts were useless. They surrounded Riku and held strong, protecting their friend if the need arose. He spoke to the captain with an angry tone, which is quite unusual for him. "Mio, he plans to kill me and Shinke, as well as anyone else he needs in order to gain and attempt to defeat the Psyche. His goal by no means justifies the casualties of the shinigami."

The captain stepped quickly to the side she was pushed in order to keep her footing from being pushed out of the way. Twisting gracefully she step both feet back on the ground and stood facing Juan. Despite being pushed, Mio listened to everything Juan had to say, and even heard what Riku said, though his tone was not to her liking. Holding up her hand to quiet him she looked to Juan. Holding up her sword as if to show him Mio looked away and along the edge of the sword.
"Unfortunately, Juan, I agree with Riku. I can't stand by and let you kill shinigami. At least face me, Oushi Raion hasn't been in battle for some time."
Pulling her arm back she raised the blade into an attacking position, ready to defend the other shinigami and herself.
