It's that time again. Only Week 3 Preseason. Eh, whatever. ANYWAY! I'll actually try and keep track of records this year! Welcome to the Annual NFL Guild Pick of the Week 2010. We will be selecting the winners from 5 NFL games. After you have selected the winning team your choice is final. You must post the teams you are selecting here. Do not PM me your choices. If you don't post here who you are selecting I won't know. Once you have posted you choices here I will add your name to the list of people participating in the event. Remember that this guild event is free. We will keep a record of your wins and the person with the most wins or perhaps win percentage not only gets the bragging rights, but 5000 gold. Or maybe more if I can actually access the guild account... The NFL Guild Pick of the Week will be closed 30 minutes before kickoff of the first game. Important Read-Do not PM me your choices. Write your choice in this thread! -All choices are final. -A record of all participates wins will be kept. ALRIGHT!! Time once again for the weekly game pics! For those who don't know, I am the guild member formally known as Japanese Green Tea/Gnome Beast. Yeah I like to change my name as often as I change my socks. But my picking strategy remains the same. This year will be tougher for me to analise NFL games since I'll be spending most of the season in Japan, they don't really show NFL games here. But no handicap shall hold me back. So lets get started.
Cincinnati at New England- I believe that the AFC North is quite possibly the toughest division in the NFL this year. The addition of Terrell Owens will help the Bengals get back into the playoffs, though their receiving corp is held back now that Antonio Bryant has been released. On the Patriots side, Tom Brady is back, but there is some controversy and tension in the air in New England between him and the team over his contract. How much will this effect the team going into the season? Some players say not at all, others do have their doubts. WINNER- CINCINNATI BENGALS
San Francisco at Seattle- Last season the 49ers almost went undefeated in their division, except for their game in Seattle where they could have won if Vernon Davis could have held on to a TD pass that would have clinched it. Seattle will be tough with a winning Pete Carroll as coach, but they aren't going to come out winning games like the USC Trojans, give Seattle time and they will be a Playoff caliber team again under Carroll, but for now I got to give it to the favored division winning 49ers team. WINNER- SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS
Dallas at Washington- Dallas is the favored team to win in the east, but so far this pre-season the Cowboys haven't been clicking the way a team determined to be the first home superbowl team should be. Maybe they will be running on all cylinders once the season starts, but I have my doubts. As for the Redskins, Mike Shannahan has a team that can potentially pull a huge divisional upset, but we don't even know if Donovan McNabb will be healthy enough to start opening day. I predict the Cowboys will walk away with this first one, then in the rematch in Dallas in December where the Cowboys have struggled in recent years the Redskins will rebound and win the rematch. But Dallas gets this first one. WINNER- DALLAS COWBOYS
Baltimore at N.Y. Jets- Week one and we already have a potential AFC championship preview. The Ravens, the team I predict to win the Superbowl, and the Jets, the favorite team many other experts are choosing to win the AFC. I will be sticking to my guns week one, that and Mark Sanchez has looked pretty bad this pre season, I don't think he'll be ready to win opening day, especially against a high powered Ravens team. WINNER- BALTIMORE RAVENS
San Diego at Kansas City- San Diego isn't the tough team they were in previous years. They are on the decline, and it is only a matter of time, probably in the next season or two they will fall from the top of the AFC West, and possibly out of the playoff picture all together. But this is in a season or two. I still believe they will win their division this year, but this is the beginning of the end of San Diego's run as an AFC elite. Enjoy this win and season, because I believe things will get very cold in Southern California. WINNER- SAN DIEGO CHARGERS
recap- Bengals, 49ers, Cowboys, Ravens, Chargers

Bengals vs Patriots I expect the Bengals to dominate the game, maybe not on the scoreboard, but they will easily look like the better team.
49ers vs Seahawks. the 49ers should take this one, the seahawks are a poor team and the 49ers have alot of good players in key positions (except qb)
Dallas Cowboys vs Washington Redskins The Cowboys will kill the skins and blow them out on all sides of the ball
Jets vs Ravens this will be a tight game, but in the end Mark Sanchez should have a great game and win the game
Chargers vs Chiefs Chiefs suck: nuff said

The Cincinnati Bengals at The New England Patriots I think itll be close but Brady and the Pats will pull it out
The San Francisco 49ers at The Seattle Seahawks The Seahawks have holes, more so than the 49ers, I'm looking at Gore to have a big day.
The Dallas Cowboys at The Washington Redskins The Cowboys should pull this one out. If the Redskins had a healthy McNabb(or if they have McNabb at all) maybe I would go with them
The Baltimore Ravens at The New York Jets The battle of the AFC right here, even without Revis I believe that the Jets are still the better team.
The San Diego Chargers at The Kansas City Chiefs Matt Cassel had lots of trouble staying on his feet in the pre-season with an OL that looks like swis cheese. Look for Chargers Rookie RB Matthews to have a nice debut.
