Name: Caedus Hydraksis
Age: 18 (As of 2010)
Height: 6' 4'
Weight: 200lbs
Powers: Increases in standard Lycan Durability (His skin is tougher/denser then usual Lycan's skin, as well as boasting a total immunity to flame and extreme heat.) and Strength, as well as a disposition to Earth.
Skills: He was trained by his later Father in Iaidō from the age of 5 as well as several advanced combat strategical techniques from varying cultures. Nearly an expert at close-quarters warfare, Caedus is rarely bested on the field of battle. His weapon of choice is a tempered steel Katana. The Scabbard is a navy blue in color, the Handle a primarily white with black as a secondary, with a shimmering near-white blade, and a long thin diamond shaped guard. As well, there are two cloth tassels dangling from the point where the handle and guard meet.

Nicholas sits on the edge of the tallest dormitory on the campus. The wind blows through his shoulder length hair tied in a short pony tail. He heard and smelt his opponent long before he had reached the roof of the building. He was facing today one of the more famous lycan lines. The illustrious line of Hydraksis.
Nicholas smiled a little and got up off the edge, and held his blade at the ready. He turned and faced his opponent. "Yo." Was all he said in greeting, his eyes though were already as a blade.

Caedus exhaled and expelled the cold autumn air from his lungs slowly as he walked across the concrete roof of the Campus dorm's to meet his opponent. He was a man he'd never met, so much as heard of his family line. He had heard this 'Nicholas' was eager to face a member of the Hydraksis family and, seeing as his Father was now dead and title of Patriarch had passed to him, he could not turn down this challenge. Still, it'd have been nice to have fought a member of the once royal line. He'd have liked that, making their number a bit smaller. "Hey." He said in a casual and almost greeting tone, but anyone with any experience would see through it instantly. He was near thanking him for the chance to strike an enemy down. "A human campus? You choose your fields of battle in the oddest places. Still, what happens to these worms is of no consequence to me. They are below me." He said as he held his scabbard a bit tighter in his left hand, preferring holding it to wearing it on a belt. He was dressed in business attire for the most part, wearing a long black over coat over a black suit with a special monogram on the lapel. His black hair was slicked backwards, unsuccessfully, as he had several spikes in his hair. His crimson eyes analyzed the man carefully before they began, looking for visual weakness.

Nicholas's green eyes, with a star of gold around the pupil, seemed to, simultaneously, be moving constantly about Caedus' person and keeping contact with his eyes. Nicholas was wearing a black long sleeve shirt. It was tucked into his pants with his belt. He was wearing kaki-pants and converse flat top shoes. His eyes held the same menace as what was coming off of Caedus. "You look....like your going to a business meeting. Before we start, I'm not paying for that things dry-cleaning bill. Or if you keep it the trip to the seamstresses." Nicholas said before adopting a stance that a novice would think as fencing, but anyone remotely familiar with would see as wrong. Being too much of his body was exposed aka he wasn't perfectly facing sideways.
"I picked the campus...because it would be anonymous and interesting. Nothing else. " He said as he moved forward in three quick steps and set out three easy and quick stabs towards Caedus' torso and neck. The battle had begun.

Caedus' eyes narrowed slightly as he did, standing completely still as Nicholas lunged and attempted to stab him thrice in the center of his mass. Attempted. "Fool." He stated as he rose a leg and kicked Nicholas back to his original position on the roof, no farther. "Speed is of no consequence, it tests my reflexes. But next time, put some force into your attack." He said as he threw off his coat and forfeited his entire top clothing until he wore nothing on his chest but a white tank-top. It revealed that there were merely red marks where Nicholas had stabbed but no actual skin penetration had occurred. His fair skin had stayed intact, as it had for years. Leaning slightly forward and taking the handle of his sword, he tilted his head forward for a split second. "Attack." He said as he prepared to draw his blade to meet Nicholas'.

(Dude, really? Did you really just auto-hit me?)
Nicholas slid back to his initial spot near the edge of the roof unharmed, but with an annoyed look on his face. He completely ignored what Caedus was doing and was busy whipping dirt off of the front of his shirt. He liked this shirt and so a foot print of dirt was fairly annoying. "You know, I like this shirt. I'd appreciate...." Nicholas finally looked up and noticed Caedus without most of his top clothing and stopped mid-sentence. "Really dude? Why bring all that nice clothing if your just going to throw it on the ground? You make no sense to me at all." Nicholas said, closing one eye in frustration, the other never left Caedus' face.
Nicholas flicked his sword in such a way to reflect the suns light into his opponents eyes before moving again with a sword striking style that was a continuous random assault of stabs and slices at all different locations at Caedus. If the attack could be compared to anything, it would be to a flickering flame.

(Didn't mean to word it like that, I meant it to be a non-violent nudge almost. That make any sense? If not my bad ><)
Caedus ignored the sun hitting his eyes and drew his blade in a quick flash of reflex. He opened his eyes a bit as he began to deflect and counter Nicholas' assault. "You're fast, I'll give you that. You seem to have carried on our spirit, just like my father taught me to do." He said as he brought the two to a momentary clutch, grabbing one of the assaulting blades in his bare hand while locking metal with the other. The dead-lock lasted only a moment before Caedus repelled and began to push the assault back at Nicholas, his attacks comprised of quick and powerful slashes, but rarely any stabs. As well, he stepped forward on each slash.

(Yeah I knows, it just startled me that you did it is all. )
Nicholas' eyes missed nothing of the the follow up battle. He especially noticed when his blade was grabbed, and he also noticed the red marks across Caedus' skin. His mind worked quickly while his focus remained on his opponent.
"Did you know that I am not left handed." Nicholas said while they fought and he took a few more steps backwards before holding his ground with Caedus. Their blades met with clashes of sparks and the screech of metal on metal that would have awakened an undead horde with it's terribleness.
Nicholas suddenly ducked down and rolled forward on his right shoulder. His blade in his left hand coming up to slice at the hamstring of Caedus as he rolled past before coming up still at the ready with his blade. The sword still in his left hand.

Caedus' eyes were quick enough to adjust to Nicholas' movements, as well as the faint vibration in the air around him told him that he was gunning for his left leg. "Not yet." He said as he flipped the scabbard in his left hand, holding it in the same way as his sword before he swung down and caught the tip of Nicholas' blade. "You're fast, I'll give you that." He said before he turned on a heel and brought his blade to the man's throat, catching him in position. "Tell me your full name, let me know if you're anyone worth mention." He said simply as his crimson eyes watched him closely.

"Names are only important in the history books." Nicholas said as his formless training kicked in. Suddenly he was falling backwards and down towards the ground. He was close to the ground anyway so it wasn't much, but all movement had meaning. His left leg shot up to kick into the scabbard, and to move it in front of his opponents blade to stop it from cutting him. Then his right arm hit the ground and he spun his right foot with the force of a hammer crashing down on an anvil to bend hot metal at the side of Caedus' knee.

"Only in history? You still have a lot to learn..." He muttered as he caught the motion of Nicholas' foot and braced his own leg, sweeping his sword down to block some of the force before the attack hit. He growled as the kick connected, spinning himself over Nicholas' leg to avoid too much impact. While in mid-air, she stabbed his sword into the ground below him and forced himself higher into the air, perching himself in a crouch on the fence bordering the roof. "You're strong. That's good, this would have been boring other wise."

"Much to learn? Not really, not from you anyway. It's not so much learning as a personal philosophy." Nicholas said as he stood up slowly and brushed some dirt off his clothes. His rapier never moved from between himself and Caedus. Nicholas moved slowly and circled Caedus, not so much for any advantage, but more to move for the sake of movement. "It's time for you to attack me." Nicholas said lightly, his tone and body language relaxed but his eyes still serious.
